Howdy guys! Congrats on the Grand Opening party tomorrow, hate I can’t be there in person but I will definitely be there in spirit.
So I’m noticing a trend here that I have to point out and ask. The trend is that Teddy seems to be getting a lot more of the benefit of the doubt than Drew. For example Day 2 Drew threw no picks, but one could have been picked off. Day 1 & 3 Teddy didn’t hit the deep ball/splash play, but Tyrie Cleveland could have caught those passes. I just can’t help but notice Drew tends to receive a negative “but” where as Teddy seems to get more of a positive “but”.
Is this because of each QB’s history in the league or is it just how the grading scale breaks down?
Please do not take this as me criticizing, just something I’ve noticed and want to understand more.
Appreciate all you guys do – JrPancake

AuthorIf and when Teddy throws into triple coverage for a high-risk potential interception as Lock did Thursday, we will report it. If and when a certain Lock completion is dropped, we will report it. It is not our business to manipulate or re-write what happens. As I believe was noted on the Friday podcast, Teddy looked for Fant in the end zone, but opted to throw it beyond Fant and out of play. That is a difference between the two quarterbacks:. Teddy will often throw it beyond the end zone to not sacrifice the near-certain three points, something we saw in OTAs at least twice, off the top of my head. Conversely, Drew’s history and those red-zone decisions Thursday (and in OTAs) show that he is more likely than Teddy to try and wing it in there. This is likely part of why Fangio said his thoughts on the QBs so far have been “pretty much the same” as he had coming into camp, which is a revealing comment on where they stand.

Thank you for the explanation Mase. Cheers!

Hello gentlemen….you got me. Finally subscribed!
I’ll start off by saying that I’m a Drew lock STAN…we share the same name so I gotta keep that faith in the guy. that being said, what are your realistic thoughts on the possibility of Lock adding a little bit of teddys style to his skill set and becoming a complete QB? it just seems to me that Drew’s highs are so much better than teddys and he just needs to take a few pages from “the book of steadiness”, and finally spare us from having to see the “QB carousel” graphic for yet another season! What say you?

We all lamented Sutton’s absence, but might Hamler be the true X factor in this O? A true take the top off guy might cure a lot of ailments, right?

What would Brett Rypien have to do to get a single point in the QB scoreboard? And will he get a point during said competition? Thanks for everything you guys do.

Fellas!
No training camp question today, but I came to wish y’all a great weekend and to say that I am 100% down for the three of you doing a broadcast!!! I do have one question about that- do you think that there would be a problem with the audio and play syncing up correctly? I have no idea, the last thing I am is good with tech haha. Thanks guys!
Much love

hey guys!
couple things;
1) i’m hearing good things about mintze. i know there’s no pads but how has he looked so far?
2) i’m generally comfortable with the depth on the team but the one spot headed into camp that concerned me was the nose tackle position and now purcell gets injured.
are there any guys on the roster that you’d feel comfortable filling in for him as a starter or is that a position where they might need to bring someone in? it used to be that you could find a run-stuffing nose tackle on the street at any point but i looked at the available free agents and it’s not pretty. what do y’all think?

Hi guys,
3 days into camp, what is the one position we should be concerned about?

Hey guys, no question today, just wanted to say how much we appreciate the content and all the effort you guys put in day in and day out, loving the new short video summaries of the day on Twitter that was a fantastic idea.
I don’t know if its possible but i think if you rotate Andre once a week to see training camp you could get more of a scouts perspective to what is going on, just an idea.
I really really hope for a winning season this year, and can’t wait to see how fun it could be with DNVR, we had so much fun even in the Vance years, so i just can imagine how much better a season would be if the team is contending.

With the depth we have at WR and players like Kendall Hinton and Trinity Benson trying to make the roster, how many WRs will the team carry this year and who doesn’t make the cut?
