If Peyton Manning’s football IQ is a 10 out of 10. What are the football IQs of Brett Rypien and Drew Lock?

I’m always team Zac, but by following his “under/free money” epiphany I ended losing all my ice cream fundage. Guess I’ll eat stale popcorn for dessert for the next year. I still love you zac, but this really hurts.

Oh don’t worry – I had at him on this. You’re not alone.

Guys,
I know it is incredibly unlikely but given that there are 7 teams making the playoffs what would it take to see the entire afc west make the play offs?
Even more think about this cheifs get #1 overall and the bye
Chargers #5
Raiders #6
Broncos #7
They all win the first week so the divisional round would be cheifs v broncos and chargers v raiders, just crazy to think about. What is the line on that happening?
Lovethunderdownunder
The case of Rypien v Stidham case will be heard on the 11/10/2020. Judge Jeudy is presiding.
Man…. this game seems winnable…..Man….MAN…….
MAN
MAN!!!!!!
Very excited to see what sort of damage Rypien can do with Lindsay and Gordon together. Not a lot of tape on it at all – might be the secret weapon. Especially if the Drizzley Bear is in the wild horse formation with the two of them.
Over / Under on direct snaps to a RB or Driskel in this game?
What’s the line? What you taking?
OhMaHa
Sorry to keep piling on Zac, but I’m sitting here watching this Monday nighter wondering about your ice cold Aaron Rodgers takes.
Ice cold.

Hey guys!
If Breckenridge Brewery got a while hare up the proverbial territory, and brewed a batch of either strawberry sky or hop peak as a nitro, what do you call the half and half version of an RK special?
This upcoming game feels like we ordered from Wish; an epic showdown between Cam and Lock, and a reunion with Cam and his father. Instead, we’ll likely see the battle of Jarrett Stidham and Brett Rypien. I want to get excited for what may be a much more competitive game in a daunting setting, but the upcoming game somehow feels underwhelming. Outside of QB play, what do you guys want to see from the rest of the team, at whichever position group you wish to discuss?
Kendall Hinton, Hall of Famer
Very upsetting Bouye’s recovery will take weeks longer. We’re probably losing Fant for this game, but getting Phillip Lindsay back. If Lock is still out, is losing Fant and getting Lindsay this week is a net positive or a net negative?
Could we get any other players back besides Lindsay and Lock this week?
And I didn’t have a chance to watch the game, but judging by the 4 turnovers the Patriots had and the final score, do you guys feel any better about a possible win this weekend even if Lock isn’t back?
Lovethunderdownunder
When can we expect to see 22 or 13 personnel used more often? Would love to see calls where we have a single TE split wide and the motion out the extra TE or RB to the slot.
Is there anything to suggest Shurmur would ever put together the package? Seems like an amazingly dynamic grouping for the broncos.
Maybe later in the season we might see Fant/AO/Lindsay/Gordon together?

Quick appreciation post for the best Broncos pod in the universe:
RK, Zac, and Mase, the three of you bring a level of knowledge and love that keeps me listening regardless of how the season is going. Even though this season has not gone the way any of us have hoped, you guys manage to keep thousands of people engaged, informed, and hopeful. You and the entire DNVR staff have created a true community, and that is not an easy task in today’s world. You all should be incredibly proud of the work you put in, and I can’t wait for the fruits of your labor to pay off when we all celebrate Lombardi #4 sometime in the near future. This pod has been a staple of my daily life for 3 years and it will continue to be for as long as I’m a Broncos fan. Love you guys and keep killing the game

hey guys!
the narratives around drew right now remind me a lot of what was said about josh allen circa 2019. allen’s detractors would point to his general accuracy, low deep ball completion percentage, the fact he had missed time with injuries and his low pff grades. where as his supporters would point to his leadership, his mobility, his physical tools and the fact he wins games.
i personally think drew is substantially ahead of where allen was as a rookie and for most of his second year. now allen also had the added dynamic of being a threat as a runner but i think there may be a cautionary tale about giving up on drew without knowing exactly what you have. no doubt the broncos should take trevor if they’re in a position to trade up, but if it came between drew and fields? it’s still early and a lot can change on both sides of the equation, but right now i’m taking drew.
what do y’all think?

The NFL has seen its share of playoff teams before the expansion of the field, with poor records. What would you say the odds are of a losing team making the playoffs this season and would that mean that a 7-9 team will be drafting in the last 14 because their conference is softer this year?

Hey gentlemen,
Since it has been awhile since my last comment, I figured I would give you guys an update on how the inaugural football season for Elkhorn North is going. Still no wins for the varsity or JV. Although the varsity is steadily getting better and was only down 13-14 at halftime of last game. This week however, the varsity is playing another currently winless team and we are all thinking that this could be the week it finally happens.
After winning our first game, the freshman team had three really hard fought losses, but last week we dominated our rival school 26-6, so really nothing else matters. We have two more games remaining so there is still a chance that the freshman can finish above .500.
One question; if Drew Lock and Cam Newton cannot play next week, who would you rather see lined up opposite of Brett (AKA Mark) Rypien? Stidham or Hoyer?
As always thank you for everything you guys do. I will update you after our game on Friday. Maybe next week we will all be celebrating the first varsity football win ever in Wolves history. Stay happy and healthy!

MY BOYS! Through a quarter of the season, Jerry Jeudy has accumulated 234 receiving yards putting him on pace for 936 receiving yards this season. With Courtland Sutton out for the season, KJ Hamler out for some time, Noah Fant week-to-week, and Tim Patrick sure to draw more attention than normal based on how well he played against the New York Jets, Jeudy has a decent shot at a 1,000 yard receiving season as a rookie, especially as he continues to get more comfortable in working out early season and rookie jitters. In 2008, Eddie Royal amassed 980 receiving yards—a Broncos’ record for a rookie—in his stellar rookie campaign. Also, here is another public service announcement that the Las Vegas Raiders passed up on Jerry Jeudy to select Henry Ruggs III. Do you think that Jeudy makes it to 1,000 yards receiving this season? As always, thank you for the comprehensive coverage of the Orange and Blue. DNVRMY SALUTE!

Scale of 1-10 how much is the probability of this happening in your opinion …..Albert Ochocinco gets on the field by week 6 ….. We get dremont , aj, back after the bye ……. Fangio pressing more with dbs and stop playing so far off allowing dinks and dunks ?…… I think this will make this team so much better scale of 1-10 how likely are these things gonna happen??

I remember back to a pod where you guys were ranking Lock, Burrow and Lawrence after the season heading into the draft. I believe RK had it Lock 1, Lawrence 2 and Burrow 3 because we had seen Lock play in the NFL and the others we hadn’t. I thought at the time it was a little biased but I could understand the argument. Now that you’ve seen Burrow in the NFL and some more of Trevor, how would you rank them moving forward? Also, always take smooth over crunchy peanut butter.

That Sweet Brown Relish is Branston’s Pickle, and one of the few things I do kinda like; with cheese in a sandwich. Give it a try! You were eating it off the spoon, RK. ?
Get Timmy to send you some Surströmming. You guys will love it ??? I think it was invented as a gag on some Norwegian Fisherman, by some Swedish Sailors, laughing by giving them rotten fish to eat, and when they came back for more, they tried it for themselves and fell in love with it. I still say it’s the greatest gag ever played……but by the Norwegians ?
Serious point; Garrett Bolles for the Pro Bowl ?
