Hey fellas,
Honestly as much as Chubb has been hurt, there’s an argument to be made that Von is who we should keep, and draft a replacement for Chubb.

Hi guys,
After watching bits and pieces of the QB interviews, I’ve decided only 1 has the look and sound of being “the guy”, Sam Howell just oozes leadership, he looks and sounds like he will be a franchise guy for years, hopefully he’s the pick at #9, and a QB competition with…….drum roll……Gardner Minshew, bring on training camp! And I’m all for signing Von for 12-15 million, move on from Chubb and draft a replacement…Cheers

hey guys
so i know it’s improbable, if not impossible…..but can we entertain the idea of kanye/antonio brown buying the broncos for a second? what would that look like to y’all?
Let me preface this by saying THIS IS NOT MY PLAN A, but I don’t hate the idea of Marcus Mariota.
He has experience in this offense from his time with Matt LaFleur, he’s a good locker room guy, he’ll be at least as good as Teddy as a passer, but his legs add a dynamic playmaking element that we haven’t had at QB. If Hackett can sprinkle some RPO/Read Option concepts into the offense he’s bringing from Green Bay, then I could see a scenario where we can be much more competitive and exciting with Mariota.
I get that people want the 15 year franchise guy or bust, but it has been half a decade since we’ve been competitive and we have tons of young talent (particularly at WR) that have never tasted the playoffs or a truly competitive season, and at some point that is going to hinder their development. If we don’t get Rodgers or Wilson, we have the resources to mold ourselves in the image of the 49ers under Jimmy G, Titans under Tannehill, and Rams under Goff, who have all come very close to winning Super Bowl championships. At this point, I’d rather have that until we find our Trey Lance/Stafford rather than the morale crushing stretches we’ve had over the last 6 years.

Alright, thank god the Rodgers drama is off the table. I was worried I was going to have to become…. a Chargers fan if Rodgers did indeed come to Denver.
Now onto the real prize, let’s get Russell Wilson in here ASAP or draft Willis or Howell or Strong. Let’s do it!

Also, what are your thoughts on Calvin Ridley? I think it’s a ridiculous double standard to penalize him for betting on games where he wasn’t involved and had no impact on anything but the owner of the Dolphins isn’t getting penalized for incentivizing losses.

Sup y’all, Rodgers not coming to Denver is something I wish I could be upset about. Fact of the matter is that he is clearly a greedy attention seeker lol. Now that the ship has sailed what do you think is the next most likely scenario? Here’s to fans complaining about being mediocre!!!
Also hope all is well! Long time no comment.

I said it last week and I’ll say it again, franchise QBs don’t get traded. You guys mentioned Stafford as an example, but I’d argue that Stafford is not the prototypical “franchise” guy. He has always been good enough to not be replaced, but he’s never been THE reason for success anywhere. True franchise QBs who are the truck and not the trailer, do not get traded. Green Bay was never going to trade Rodgers, he used Denver as a leverage point. If we had a franchise guy he’d have used Miami or some other city. This is and always has been a path to either Drew Lock, a draft pick, or a Journeyman vet who is not “the answer” at QB, unless a franchise guy ever ends up on free agency like PFM or TB12 did.

About that!!!

Well, Rodgers watch is over. Malik Willis likely going no later than 6th. Free Agent and Trace market dried up before it even began.
Feels like the Kenny “2 Gloves” to the Broncos stars are aligning. At least the South Park memes will write themselves. Sigh.

I for one am so glad this Rodgers drama is put to rest time to follow RKs advice and draft QBs in the first every single year until we hit one.
On an unrelated note – watching that absolute unit from Georgia named Jordan Davis at the combine has me thinking: how competitive do you reckon an all NFL 15s rugby team would be against truly elite international competition? Just for a lark – could you imagine trying to tackle Jordan Davis running at full speed with the ball in open field?

Curious to see, as time rolls on, how close Rodgers was to actually picking the Broncos. I think the noise surrounding the Broncos may have always been Rodgers’ camp exploiting the obvious interest from the Broncos to sweeten the deal from the Packers. All in all, I’m thankful we have closure on this. Time to look forward to FA and the Draft.
Put me first in line on the screw Aaron Rodgers train. Hate how the Broncos were essentially used as leverage in the end. Will actively root against him in the playoffs from here on out.
Can’t wait for Mariota (puke). Or maybe instead of Locktober we’ll have Drew 2022.
Within 5 minutes broncos trade for Russell Wilson lol

Question-How much does Russell Wilson increase the purchase price of the team?
