Heading into the bye, Teddy is exactly what I was expecting. Middle of the road QB leading the team to a worst case scenario of a 500 record. This is in part why I was hoping for Drew this year, the result would have been boom or bust, both of which would be better than 500. It’s probably safe to say the Broncos next QB is not on the roster. So if y’all were the betting type (and I think you might be), what’s your way to early prediction on the week one starter for 22?

My boys,

I had a feeling the Broncos were headed for a blowout loss to the Eagles because I was having such a great time at the DNVR bar and tailgate… they just had to pull me back down to earth. What a day though – I got to meet RK, Zac, Hank, Spano and of course my hero, Mase. They say never meet your heroes but you all exceeded my expectations. I dominated at least 8 slices of sexy pizza and enjoyed a delicious DNVR burger after the game. Cream cheese on a burger is an elite move.

I cannot recommend the tailgate experience enough. Even my scumbag eagles friends had an amazing time too. Thanks again boys I’ll be back when the broncos dont suck. Love, Will.

Is it bad to say I’m not really looking forward to Bradley Chubb coming back after the bye? I hope he gets healthy and plays well but I don’t like the idea of giving him a huge new contract. He’s injury prone and outside of a small sample size during his rookie season he’s never shown the ability to be an elite pass rusher. But if he comes back and has a great stretch to finish out the year I’m afraid we might end up giving him a new contract and I don’t think he will live up to it long term.

Howdy Gents,

I was on board with Teddy until the piss poor effort then heaving the ball out of the end zone on 4th. I’m out on him and ready to move on, no place for that effort. Sutton and Fant effort levels are getting close to that level. If you hear Drew Lock chants start from the end zone vs the Lions, it was probably me. We need someone with some heart and fire, Not insincere apologies when you’re being roasted.

Thanks for the pod as always

Ello Boys,

I’ll be honest, I am full on cheering for the broncos to make the playoffs. I know it isn’t looking awesome after the Eagles loss, but I am tired of rooting against my team. Sure, I want a better draft pick. Sure! I want a new QB in town..don’t get me started with the coaching! I really rooted for Vic and the gang but it hasn’t seemed to work out. I acknowledge that. But by golly let’s see some wins, one game back…time to get to work.

hey guys,

going to defend sutton here. there’s a comment below talking about his effort levels. i’m going to have to disagree with that.

i rewatched the game and sutton was throwing guys around in the run game which is something that goes unnoticed most of the time.

the fact that he’s in a contract year and isn’t getting the targets and production he’d like is probably weighing on his mind, but he’s still making plays for the team is something to praise him for.

i find it hard to criticize the effort of a player who does things that doesn’t show up in the stat sheet, and has been doing it all year. what do y’all think?

I really miss the days of Wade’s ATTACKING style defense. He didn’t sit back and let the offense dictate. Vic’s “complex” read and react defense is so weak – nothing scary about it whatsoever. It basically works if the other team screws up. We don’t force shit. We don’t dictate shit. This defense has no teeth and it’s laughable to hear us mentioned as a defensive team.
Two very easy questions for Gorge Paton to answer at the end of the season – Can you honestly EVER see a Vic Fangio led team hoisting a Lombardi trophy? Can you honestly EVER see a Teddy Bridgewater led team hoisting a Lombardi trophy?
Those are the easiest test questions you’ve probably ever had to answer Mr. Paton.

Can we put away this Sutton and Fant hatred. They can only do so much with Teddy at quarterback. When he only completes 2 out of 25 passes over 10 yards in a game. His unwillingness to take risk is hurting this team. He never throws tight window throws or gives his receivers a chance to make a play. If the Broncos want to win we need to put points on the board, and Lock gives us the best chance to do so. It is not like teddy has not put the ball in harms way. He has gotten extremely lucky this season with turnover. He has multiple drop intercepts. Just this passed game he threw two balls to Williams that could have easy turned into interceptions.

My boys! Mase was right yesterday – the game against the Cowboys gave people hope (myself included), and the game against the Eagles broke a lot of people (myself included).

Just wanted to say that discovering the pod this year was the best thing that could have happened. You guys have made this season more enjoyable for me and bring joy to my workdays. Flying out and doing the Party Bus / Tailgate week 4 was one of the best experiences I’ve had for a sporting event. I’m definitely planning on making it an annual trip.

Cheers fellas, love you guys

Noooo mase we cannot hire another defensive minded head coach. I don’t care if it’s proven to work over time. We need offense it’s 2021 for crying out loud.

My Boys,
Long time listener, first time commenter. Ive been listening since it was still the BSN podcast and you can finally say you got me. I got to go to my first home game last Sunday unfortunately after that performance, especially because the week before i was in Dallas to see our boys beet up on the cowgirls. 1 So do you think regardless of record that there will be a coaching change, not necessarily head coach but at least O C and special teams because I am 75% sure something will happen? 2 If so who do you think they will go for if there is any kind of coaching change? I heard rummer of Dallas’s O C. 3 For Mr. B. Thanks for the pod I really enjoy it. It was great meeting RK at the bar the night before the game, and the pre game was awesome. I for sure wasn’t expecting to have my picture put up on the DNVR Instagram when i woke up that morning but it was still awesome. Hopefully i can meet the rest of you guys next month when i go back for the bengals game. Sorry for the long comment. LETS GO BRONCOS!!!!!
