Another unsung player in the Jets game was Garrett Bolles, I don’t remember him being mentioned once which is exactly what you want to see from him, and overall he has been the Broncos best O-Lineman all season. This has me wondering if they may end up regretting not picking up that 5th year option. It feels like since the insertion of Drew last season Bolles has figured his game out. Thoughts?

After about a year of consternation on the matter, I believe I may have reached a horizon on the straw debate.

A straw has neither one hole nor two. A straw does not “have” holes.

A straw is a tunnel.

A tunnel is a singular entity defined by two entrances/exits that Peirce the main body of a mass. Just as a hotdog is not a sando, a straw is not a hole nor a set of holes. You don’t enter a hole when you enter a tunnel – your beverage, likewise, does not either. A straw is just a type of drinking tunnel.

Drew Lock could start this Sunday against the Patriots. With Cam Newton out, the Broncos whether it’s with Rypien or Lock have a real shot at winning this game. Speaking of the patriots, looks like the chiefs are gonna win tonight. The only teams that have a real shot at beating them are the Bills, and the Saints. So as long as no flukes happen the chiefs are going 16-0. RK I am down for the pizza bet. DLB locking in.

Guys really disappointing developments with Jerry Jeudy. Not sure Broncos Country can take much more of this. 2020 is just awful. At what point do we just call it a season. He is our first round draft pick, and for him to openly take this stance will do nothing but divide the team, the city of Denver and all those that call Broncos Country home. I can’t imagine Dalton Risner agreeing with him, and I know Von isn’t in the room each day, but he wouldn’t agree either surely? I am not sure I put this on Elway yet, but it’s a thought we can’t ignore – how did they not figure this out pre-draft?

I am not sure I can cheer for Jerry Jeudy when he so openly supports Smooth Peanut Butter.

remember when the fanbase wanted to can garett bolles for trent williams and jason peters? ?

i know it’s early, and his performance could decline but if it came between franchising simmons or bolles this year, which route would you go?

the bolles’ situation is reminding me of what happened with jack conklin. the titans declined his option, he ended up having a good season in his contract year, and got $14m/year to play RT for the browns. if bolles continues on this trajectory where making the pro bowl or even all-pro isn’t a reach, then he’ll easily get $15m/year on the open market.

A quick thank you to RK, Henry and Andre, for the Tailgate this week, where they tried a sample of the UK foods I sent over. Not sure if the blindfolds were necessary, but it did have me and my wife in fits of laughter, especially Andre’s curled lip as he tasted everything. I think the Twiglets stole the show, or maybe the ‘Jeffey Cakes’, or Jaffa Cakes, as we call them.

Irn-Bru (pronounced Iron Brew) is like the national Scottish drink, behind Whisky. Soooo orange, defo could be Broncos Official Drink, lol.

Anyhow, just wanted to give a shout out to you three and Allie, and everyone else involved. Hope everyone else enjoyed it, but made us laugh anyhow. Can’t wait for the Marmite vs Vegemite Taste Off. Surely Marmite HAS to win this, shots fired to LoveThunderDownUnder and all the other Aussie DNVR Members ?

Oh, and you 100% need a Scandinavian Listener to send you some Surströmming. They actually have laws over there of where you can open the tin, it smells THAT bad.

The Boncos were off yesterday…

How many injuries did we have on the off day? Knock on wood. Since the broncos were off I didn’t eat any tidepods in an attempt to stomach what’s become of a season that has done nothing but nosedive since Von miller’s freak accident.

Here’s my question though… With fant injured, vannett is nonexistent…butt seems to be not as effective, how is the TE rotation not getting to Albert O?

We’re in a world that we’re down the #1wr the #1TE the real #3wr the #2 rb? Albert o and maybe TE-heavy sets should be a plan coming into the pats game right?

Sooo …is it time to be concerned about Justin Herbert ……I mean those deep balls make me sooo jealous considering the lack of deep ball accuracy we’ve gotten from drew this far ? …. Is Herbert a potential issue for the afc west ?

Do you think Trevor would pull an Eli if he were to get drafted by the jets. Because after the way they were playing Beckton i wouldn’t want to go there. The man was literally crying on the sidelines he was in so much pain and they still played him.

MY BOYS! Somehow, the Broncos’ practice squad now features Sylvester Williams, Darius Kilgo, and Nigel Bradham. Williams and Bradham were important pieces to the Broncos winning Super Bowl 50 and the Eagles winning Super Bowl LII, respectively, while players like Derek Tuszka and LeVante Bellamy are on the active roster. What a wild year. Do you think that Williams, Kilgo, and/or Bradham will first be used as game day call-ups for two weeks before going to the active roster? Could the Broncos look to reach an injury settlement with Mark Barron and/or DeMarcus Walker and roll with Bradham and/or Tim Jerrigan for the remainder of the season?
