John Elway drafted the Denver Broncos’ 2019 and 2020 classes, featuring Drew Lock, Dalton Risner, Noah Fans, Dre’Mont Jones, Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler.
George Paton was responsible for the past three drafts, which featured Pat Surtain II, Javonte Williams, Quinn Meinerz, Nik Bonitto, Greg Dulcich and Marvin Mims Jr.

What’s up DNVR fam! I know it’s been a while since I’ve written in, but I haven’t missed a POD since early in the 2015 season (BSN days).
I absolutely LOVE the entire DNVR crew & everyone that has joined our community. The growth of the whole All Sports brand has been both impressive and inspiring!
Now, I think this whole talk about grading our drafts has been a little harsh and left out a HUGE factor – CONTINUITY. How many different coaches and coordinators have the Broncos had in the last 5 years? There have been 4 different head coaches alone in the last 5 years (counting Jerry Rosenberg). Players are scouted and drafted based on their fit in a specific system. They may thrive in one system, and then disappear in another. Those coaching changes certainly affect a players development also.
One example is the 2019 draft class, which looked like a huge success and probably would have been graded highly after that first season. Drew, Dalton, & Noah all had breakout rookie years. Then Skangs was let go, and the offense changed the very next year – and there after.
If you look at the all successful teams out there, you will find continuity in their coaching and/or system.

I don’t want to make a big deal out of 1 practice but all I heard regarding Bo was that he tore it up, but it is something I don’t remember hearing from Russ ever or Lock going back to the Teddy vs Lock camp days. That being said, did Drew or Russ ever have days like this and did this give you more confidence in him going forward?
