Anyways I gotta question so the criticism that the broncos are getting for possibly finishing 3rd or 4th in the division and missing the playoffs is a horrendous excuse

People are speaking to
#1 the broncos wr core being a projection not proven
#2 Russ having growing pains in a new offense
#3 the defense wasn’t as good as it seems according to Dvoa and Fangio is gone

All these points may be fair however ???

Isn’t Derek carr in a new offense with Mcdaniels
Isnt the chiefs offense a projection Mahommes is amazing but other then kelce they got a whole new line of weapons

And a bunch of rookies on offense and defense that are projected to help the chiefs instantly win the afc west

And the chargers got a lot better but insnt that defense a projection

We improved with Demarcus ware and to ward and aqib talib in one season but dear God the chargers built almost an entire defense via free agency and that doesn’t tend to work out well buying a defense in free agency

So my question is if all of these teams are projections who is in the best position to live up to that projection ? Considering coaching and roster talent ?

Gday Boys! Counting down the days till schedule release. Never been so invested in this day with a trip to the USA coming in September. Call me crazy, but I’m hoping we get an ‘easier’ type game like Houston than a ‘tougher’ team like KC as I really want my family to experience a win as opposed to a close, potential heart breaking loss. Also fingers crossed we get an away game against Rams, Chargers or Raiders early so we can get an away game in as well!! Quick question for you – How does Dulcich compare to Fant? To me it seems their skill set is quite identical, but we get Dulcich on a much, much cheaper deal. Your thoughts??

I’ll share my Wilson trade story:
I was working on a large job site in Atlanta, buried in an AV rack when the Rodgers news came down. My site lead was a huge Packers fan, so we had been talking throughout the offseason about it. He screenshotted the headline and sent me it to me, appearing at the front of the rack a few minutes later to give me a hard time about the hapless Broncos.

A few hours later, stuck in the same rack, I saw THE notification come through on my watch. I literally could not believe my eyes! I ran to Twitter and verified that my eyes were not deceiving me. The Broncos had traded for a HOF Quarterback!! I proceeded to screenshot the trade and send it right back to my site lead. After I got no response, I walked over to him and told him to check his phone, raising my fists in the air as he read aloud the joyous news.

Thanks for all you guys do, I can’t wait to see how this draft will bolster one of the most already solid rosters in the league!

Good morning boys! Since David (14yo son, 1/2 of Va beach broncos) and I have been listening since BSN days, we’ve gotten a graduate education on football — thank you! One question and 2 quick comments;
1. On the trade value of players; as we understand how the Jerry Jeudy argument goes, his value is lower now than after it should be with time playing with Russel, so the team should wait to trade him until the end of the season. Since we also think Russel will be elevating *everyone’s* play (including the defense, playing from ahead), wouldn’t the same mentality apply to nearly everyone? Unless we’re super-deep at a position or have salary cap concerns?
2. I’m scheduled to be “deployed” (as a professor) to a US military base in Germany from Sept – Nov; so, if at all possible, I’ll be there with you in London. When you hear about how/when to get tickets, could you please pass that along?
3. For Mase: “Badgers???? We don’t need to stinkin’ badgers!!!”

2. For my “Where was I when Russell Wilson was traded story,” my wife and I are expecting a boy in September and we were going out to the clinic for our First Trimester Ultrasound. I had to keep my phone off to the side and when I finally parked I saw a friend of mine tagged me in an ESPN post. I opened it up to see the Wilson announcement and had to contain my joy for 2 hours. I didn’t want my wife thinking I was more excited about the trade than our appointment and baby. Once I left and was driving to work I started screaming and posting online about the news! I popped on the Podcast to get hyped with my boys RK and Zack. Keep up the awesome content and thank you for the support for my fundraiser!
