Hey guys,
My first comment ended up being read hilariously by Andre and Henry. Nice to hear about Henry’s connections with Montana and respect for this awesome state, even if he said go Griz… Go Cats all day haha.
But RK, Zac, and Mase
As my first comment to you guys, hopefully this goes through, I want to ask a question If you 3 were to run a 40 yard dash, what is your predicted outcome for what I’m sure would be Henry Ruggs like speed?
Thanks guys and Go Broncos
MetzBronco50
If I need to comment this on a different pod for it to be read next week just let me know. Being new just trying to figure out where to comment! Thanks

After seeing the draft, one person that I thought was good was Antonio Gandy-Golden and of course Mases guy Antionio Gibson. What were some people that surprised you in the combine?
BleedingOrange&Blue
Hey guys, after the combine which OL and WR prospects have you changed your rankings on? How would your Broncos top 10 OL/WR mix look?
Thanks!
Dang that Wirfs combine workout and 40 time had me salivating all over the place! I’ll place a wager that someone will take Herbert between picks 9-11

DNVR fam, please keep my golden retriever, Rory in your prayers. He is my best buddy and just had a tumor the size of a baseball removed from his right shoulder. The doctors aren’t sure yet if it is cancerous but if it is he might have to get his right leg amputated. He isn’t even 8 yrs old and to have this news come has been heart breaking for me. Love you all

Goldens are the best dogs, will keep Rory in my thoughts, hoping for the best

Hey gang,
I’ve been loving the combine coverage. The sleep deprived pod from the corridor was pure Denver Gold!
With the WR 40 times in the books, how do you feel the stock of Jeudy, Ruggs , Reagor, and Shenault has changed? Or is the 40 time one of those metrics that teams over-emphasize.
Keep up the great work!
VilcaDan
Welcome back guys and a shout out to Andre and Hank for keeping it going while you three got a much needed nap.
I also want to shout out the second season of Netflix’s Formula 1- Drive to Survive. All the drama, backstabbing and emotion of the Bachelor but much faster. I highly recommend (be aware – more than a few R rated language moments).
Now that you’ve had a chance to process the Combine numbers, who is your guy at 15 and who do you feel rose or fell the most? Also, any medical update on ?
Thanks guys – happy to have you back.

Hey, guys. I’ve been away from the pod for awhile (was still BSN the last time I tuned in), but I’m back because your draft coverage is so good. Being that I’ve been away for a while I’m not sure if this prospect has come up yet, but have y’all heard of RB Adrian Killins Jr. out of UCF (sorry Mase lol). He is definitely undersizeD (5’8 165lb). However, the dude can flat out run! Expected to run in the low 4.3s or even a 4.2. What are your thoughts on him being one of the smaller, quicker, undrafted backs we always seem to have on the early roster? Thanks for your time gentlemen. Keep up the great work.

The undocumented immigrants in South Park were actually time travelers from the future.
One morning in 2011 (it was actually about noon but I was a teenager at the time so I was still asleep) I was woken up abruptly to my entire world being rocked, literally. I turned on the news to see that it was a 5.9 magnitude earthquake that shook the whole east coast and the epicenter was less than an hour away. I never experienced an earthquake before, other than a 6.3 magnitude that I slept through in Rome 2 years prior, and I never thought of Virginia as a place that has earthquake so my initial thought as I woke up was that we’re getting bombed and I have never jumped out of bed so fast.
Can somebody make an alarm tone out of Zac saying “OPEN YOUR EYES!”? Asking for a friend

With 5 current picks in the Top 100 selections, how many starters need to come from this draft for it to be considered ‘successful’?
coachtobin
What it be guys?
What are the odds a punter is taken in the late stages of the draft? Never a bad idea to have a cost controlled punter. ? I bring this up because I want to use my made up nickname for our current punter……

See what I did there?
I’ll show myself out.
Hope everyone has a great week in Broncos Country!!!

hey y’all just wanted to hear your take on something cecil mentioned on his show. he said arizona are looking to package a pick with david johnson to move his contract. he said that it’s likely they’ll have to give up a 2nd rounder to faciliate that trade.
after some discussion he came up with the idea of the broncos trading up from 15 to 8 with arizona and then taking on david johnson and his contract. (so essentially david johnson + 15 = arizonas pick at 8)
before the season, kliff said that he wanted to use johnson in the slot a lot, so he could potentially replace hamilton as that third receiver/
cecil prefaced this move as a trade up for ruggs- which i advocate 100% – but they could move up for any player, in theory. they can move on from his contract easily after this season too, so it’s not a long term commitment.

Hey y’all, quick question
Are you more comfortable with Mitch Morris as our starting center or Elijah Wilkerson as our starting right guard?
What do you think of Netane Muti as a later option for interior oline in the draft. 44 bench reps… That’s pretty strong.
Craig L
RK, Wolves just beat Tottenham, this weekend. Just saying.

If I’m Elway and Simmons is still on the board when the 10th pick rolls around I’m jumping up to get him. This kid is special and is the perfect defensive player for today’s NFL. If Love inexplicably goes in the top 10, do you guys thinks Simmons is sitting there at 10 or 11? Would you make the jump and what would it cost?
BroncoMatt
Hey guys,
So to start answering a question from about a week ago. Greatest movie of all time has to be The Terminal with Tom Hanks. 2nd was I was watching interview with Vic he stated the most impressive Lock game was against KC, your thoughts? Lastly Starbucks is totally trash coffee, I live in Colorado Springs and the best coffee I’ve ever had is a local place called Loyal coffee. My recommendation just simply have a pour over it will change coffee for you forever. Also speaking of peaches ? I have a peach tree in my yard, friends and family always want my peach jam. Sounds like you guys enjoy peaches I’d be happy to send some Colorado peach jam you’re way.
Have a great day RK, Zac, and Mase!

Hey fellas !! Heard a podcast they had someome from pff on their show that evaluated our team based on their data and trends that happen…. Im not one to just be dismissive on PFF ….. But they said two alarming things #1 they said according to how they grade Bolles has improved every year so much so that the level hes played at we should pick up his 5th year option ( wait whaaaat???? ) Lol ….the last thing made my heart drop …. They said based on their grading and where Drew Lock was drafted ….. There is a 5% chance that he will be a stud …. That his highs last year arent indicative of who he is as a qb neither the chiefs game ….. But if we dont see drew take a step forward this year the chamces of him being a stud is 5% likely ….. What are your thoughts and how much do you value Pff analytics ?
Albeeno Reeno
Guys,
Great to hear Hank er… Henry? Where did we land on what his name is?
With the combine over how likely do you see Ruggs still sitting there at 15? I personally think him throwing out that he will be the record and then basically coming in at 4.3 tanked his stock and he may actually be there.
What do you think of Becton’s 40 time?
Thanks,
LAbronco30
Hey Guys,
I asked this when the draft guys took over and they said to ask again for Mase, so hopefully he is in today. Do you know the history of Pat Bowlen and how he got wealthy enough to be the owner of the Broncos? They mentioned something about Keyser Söze but that seems unlikely.
Anyway, loved the combine coverage. Saturday night I got to spit some knowledge on my friends who are not Broncos fans but instead are Steelers, 49ers, Chargers, Colts and Giants fans. This is the curse of living in LA.
Have a great day fellas, can’t wait for free agency coverage.
To Drewfinity and Belock!
Yo guys I kinda asked this question last year but I wanted to see if things have changed for you guys or not. I heard that Vic Fangio said he wished the draft was before free agency (like the NHL does) so which would you prefer to come first: free agency or the draft?
MileHighMike
Hey Fam, Loved hearing Henry and Andre. Great dudes. Unfortunately they didn’t get to my comment. So I’m Posting it this week for my boys.
I’d like to chime in on a few topics, I kept it around 400 words.
1. I changed banks and got a new debit card and my monthly DNVR sub got canceled because of the auto payment failing from the old account. So I REsubcribed, for a YEAR this time so I guess you can say “we got ’em… AGAIN” This community is just TOO awesome and the Broncos coverage is too golden to miss.
2. My opinion on the Flight/Height discussion. I’m 6’2 (slight flex) and while some back seats in compact cars are tight, think some of the other 6’2 subscribers are exaggerating our difficulties. It’s not that bad. Most examples are valid but uncommon. But I’m really confused by all the plane seat reclining issues. I’m always uncomfortable on a plane and have very little leg room but, having spent countless hours on flights, I’ve NEVER been bothered by the person in front of me reclining their seat, whether I’m eating, sleeping or using my computer or the tray. Plane seats only recline about 2 1/2 inches anyway, it’s hardly a difference. You guys are being over dramatic. While your courtesy is admirable, I bet there’s a good chance someone like me is sitting behind you that couldn’t care less.
3. For Pat
4. Ryan is right, French toast is best and waffles and pancakes are commonly made from the same mix.
5. On the sleeping and snoring topic I can relate to a bunch of stories including giant tonsils but I’ll keep it to one. Ryan, I very regularly have dreams that fade into reality when I wake up at night, including MANY instances of finding people standing in my room. This usually causes me to jump out of bed, only to have them vanish after a few seconds leaving me feeling silly. However for me it’s usually less out of fear for my life and more out of embarrassment of the fact that I’m not dressed. I never knew why this happened and it’s nice to know I’m not alone.
6. Seeing as Risner was a SLAM DUNK in the second round, I’ll be very disappointed if Elway doesn’t fight to get one of the top 3 WRs in the draft this year. I say GET JEUDY, LAMB OR RUGGS even if you have to trade up a couple spots, and draft OL with the next pick. Thoughts?
You guys are my favorite, love Mile High Mike.
jmoneysteck97
Hey guys, Just curious how would you guys feel taking the nick foles contract off the jags books in exchange for the 20th pick this year? The jags would have to eat the signing bonus so it would be roughly 20 million a year for the next three years for us. Is that worth a first rounder in such a stacked class like we have this year?
OoO Benny Lava
What’s up draft squad! Getting so amped for this year’s draft there’s so many options for us early in the draft.
Couple hypotheticals I’m gonna throw at you.
Would you rather draft Ruggs at 15 and move back into the first round and grab Josh Jones, let’s say this takes our second and at least one of our thirds, probably two. Or draft tristen wirfs or jedrick wills at 15 and trade back into the first to get Jefferson, WR from LSU? Let’s say this takes the same draft capital to make the trade.
I liked Jefferson alot at the combine and think he’d be great in our offense.
Also, on what order would you draft these defensive players slated to go in the third round?
Davon Hamilton
Jason Strowbridge
Leki Fotu
Troy Dye
Davis-Gaither
Julian Blackmon?
Those are some names I’m watching on day two.
Also, I definitely want to get down on this betting scenario and I have one for both of you. Henry, I think that you may have been off the pod the week after cat griz when I gave you a little FTG go cats go. Yes, that is right. I am a fellow Montanan but alas a bozmanite and therfore proud Msu supporter. I bet you one t-shirt that the cats will take care of business against your griz again this coming season.
And Dre, what bet should we do hmmm? I’ve got one, since you were throwing shade at my guy Aiyuk Im willing to put a bet down on him getting more yards than any receiver that gets taken after him in the draft. I feel like that’s a very risky bet on my part so with that in mind how do you feel if I win I get two shirts from you but if I lose I just have to purchase one shirt? What do you boys think?
Love you boys, keep up the hard work and go cats
Pay Dak
Hey draft pod,
Probably remember me as Sutton14Thomas87.
It’s after the combine – the part of this prep where I really dig in. I ride with you all year, but I try to not to fall in love with prospects until after the combine.
The boards will shake up a lot now. Gone are the days we can safely mock Denzel Mims to the Broncos in the 2nd. There’s also a good chance this is the last opportunity for the Broncos to grab Chase Claypool or Donovan Peoples-Jones.
We normally focus on the big stock changes from relatively early round players, but early after the combine I start looking for guys that have no-to-little stock that I expect to have meteoric rises for their current stock. It was during this process last year that I came to you with the names Jamel Dean and Maxx Crosby.
Here are two early targets I’ve identified for the Broncos and I’d like your takes if you have them. (There is a link under each respective player for some single-play trait scouting purposes – I hear the links appear in white text on a white background so giving a heads up.)
Darnell Mooney, Senior, WR, Tulane: This is the consolation target when Ruggs goes off the board before 15. His best comp in this draft class is Ruggs. If Ruggs is a small guy who’s blazing fast with unbelievable hops and giant hands, Mooney is tiny and merely very fast with great hops and huge hands. He’s your vertical speed guy who has a much larger catch radius due to his great leaping, tracking, and body contortion. He shows all those traits in film too. As of today I’d be happy with taking him as early as the 4th and I’m willing to be a riser on that to the 3rd if others are buying.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nDE5UK0Z_Og
L’Jarius Sneed, Senior, DB, Louisiana Tech: The first thing you notice about Sneed is his awesome name. The second is he’s from illustrious Louisiana Tech, alma mater of one Carlos Henderson. Finally, you dip into his traits and play and want to go buy a sweet Sneed jersey while forgetting Carlos Henderson exists. He has the pedigree and traits of a modern matchup piece DB. He played corner until transitioning to safety. He’s elite DB fast with elite DB leaping and jumping ability that makes him have great ball hawking traits that quickly turn picks into points. He’d be just the latest edition to the DB room that can wear multiple hats and look good in them.

Thanks for your time and inspiring me in this space and encouraging my mock drafts that must look really amateurish to someone who works in the space every day. It’s truly one of my favorite times of the year and I have you to thank.
TL;DR: Sneed and Mooney.
