Hey guys, I’m wearing my tinfoil hat here, but let me hit you with a history lesson. Back in 2011 the Broncos were 1-4 going to play a Miami team that was 0-5 leading on them with a multiple score lead at the end of the 3rd quarter. Then they came back and one a miraculous road game. This game could show if we could see similar magic for our guys this Sunday. Realistically this is going to be a low scoring game that will go down to which defense can make the most impact and the offense that makes the least mistakes. If we can beat the Jets and seeing how the Chiefs have played against teams that aren’t the Chicago Bears I’m tempted to sip the 4-4 or 5-3 koolaid going into the bye week. As a I said on Sunday if the the Broncos can somehow turn this turd around the moment where it all changed was when Sean Payton said F THEM SLEEVES!! (Make that a DNVR Shirt with zippable sleeves )

And by the magic on Sunday, I meant what happened with that 2011 Broncos team right after that game going 7-4 the rest of the season. If the Broncos go 8-5 or 9-4 after that point they’ll definitely be in the playoff picture. Let’s count down the play clock and see Hackett take an L in Denver once again!

Seems to me the front office has been doing things the hard way for a decade.
Need a new head coach? Why not snag a young talented offensive mind who has historical ties to the franchise?
Young QB not working out? Why not use your high draft pick on another one?
Looking at free agent options for edge rusher? Why not try to re-sign a guy who obviously loves the organization instead of rolling the dice?
Ego may have been a factor in some of the aforementioned mistakes, so I’m glad to see GP setting his ego aside in working with SP and ownership (even though he is on the hot seat). The Hackett issue was problematic not just because of the result last season but because we didn’t get a true evaluation of talent.
Hoping we can get a decisive win this week (27-17) but I think regardless, KC is going to get our absolute best shot on Thursday.
