My boys…..
Winning is fun!
We owe it to the defence obviously, they have improved out of sight, so i guess a little thanks goes to Fangio for educating them the last few years.
Lets hope Russ gets better and the recievers start catching the ball more and CRUSH the raiders. Cheers.

You have to give a ton of credit to both defenses in that game. Sure, the broncos had some miscues, but so did the niners. Those two defenses are top in the league.
Neither gave an inch and the Broncos found a way to win it in the end. Hopefully this will build team chemistry and something they can draw from when it gets tough down the road.
I loved the game. Such resilience. The broncos of the past years have crumbled in these situations time and again.
Thanks for the coverage
Let’s ride!

Winning is winning but Russ needs to be better. He’s an average QB at best right now. A long way from a 250 million dollar man. You guys said during predictions that we need to score more than 16 points….

Hi boys, great show yesterday! I feel like Hackett overreacted to the criticism and reverted to a very boring offense. That paired with more drops and a few miscommunications culminated to what we saw last night. HOWEVER! The team looked composed and penalties/process were soo much better. Previous year’s teams would have lost that game, but with Russ I never doubted the win, even when we were behind. We beat a top 5 NFC team and made progress in a few areas! Jewell played up to the level he was at last year which was awesome to see, and it seems like Jonas is starting to fully understand the scheme since he was out there more than Singleton. I love how this Defensive scheme puts players in position to make plays on the ball, Evero is a superstar so far.

Last time (and only time) a team won a game 11-10 they went on to win the Super Bowl. Just sayin…

Feels so good to be 2-1 even if our offense is worse than last year right now. Here’s some of my takeaways
The good: Russ can still run, what a relief.
The bad: We had bland Pat-Shurmur-like play-calling, apparently we have to pick good, clever play-calling or minimizing penalties, Hackett NEEDS to figure that out, it’s rough.
The ugly: Russ has played like he MAYBE warrants half the contract right now, I’m so worried we got closer to the Russ of last year than the Russ from even 2-3 years ago…

Fellas. If you had to guess how many “official” drops the WR have had this year, what would you guess?
Officially it’s two. Since that is obviously wrong, what is with the drops? It seems like we’ve had a very abnormal amount in the first three weeks.

What a refreshing game – after years on the carousel, multiple training camp battles, and a long list of failed free agency pick ups, the Broncos are trending in the right direction. Yes, there were some bumps along the way, but at long last it seems they’ve found themselves a franchise punter.
Sure, the offense looked sloppy. Anemic, even. But if you told me Sunday morning that the Broncos would get a win while the Chiefs, Chargers, and Raiders all lost – I would have taken it regardless of if it was 11-10, 2-0, or 6-1. And personally, I don’t think Hackett is Dan Reeves-ing Wilson. It just seems like they haven’t fully figured it out yet, and San Francisco did a great job taking away Wilson’s bread and butter plays.
They need to build chemistry. Russ is going to go into this week looking to hook up with his boys, I hear Vegas is a good spot to do that. Until then, Broncos country, let’s punt.

This is the ickiest feeling win but imma still revel in it. I also hate saying this but, they gotta let Russ cook. Let the man be himself! It’s time! No better game to do it than against the Raiders abysmal secondary and nonexistent pass rush.
I got a bone to pick with DNVR. Why’d there only 4 Broncos shirts on the site right now but 6 Rockies shirts? Can’t believe this.

I absolutely loved that game. Last night was the first time in six years that I’ve been able to make it out to Mile High and it my wife’s first game there. It was noisy, and it had everything that I love about seeing a Broncos game, in person, at home.
But…
I felt like we were surrounded by negative fans. I’m not talking about people who merely booed when our offense was struggling. I’m talking about the people who thought they were the next genius OC, had all the answers. They had to share their genius with everybody around them. It was tedious.
We had a great time in spite of them, but man, I do not understand people who pay that much money to just complain the entire game. Shouldn’t you be at home crafting some spicy tweets, instead?

My gents, I’m almost caught up on pods. Wilson! Wow what a surprise. Our defense will likely be middle of the road this year with the loss of Fangio but at least will be putting up 27/30pts a game with Patrick/Jeudy/Sutton and Russ. So stoked

Hey guys!
LET’S RIDE!!! What a win! And what do you know, we finally run the ball with Beck at FB in the red zone and get a TD!!! Told ya!
Was so happy for HC Hackett after 2 weeks of being the butt of everyone’s joke he stepped up and managed the game great! Thought both challenges were completely warranted too, so loved the call there! Playing calling could have been better, but when it mattered we got it done!
Something I don’t understand though, why was Melvin in the game SO much in the 2nd half? He’s off to a blistering pace of a fumble per game this season! Get him off the field and feed Javonte! GO BRONCOS!

Hi guys! You mentioned this last win reminded you of the Dan Reeves coached broncos. I’ve seen every Broncos game since 1986. This last game calls me back to home wins where John Elway would stink for 3 quarters and just run for his life on one game winning TD drive. Let’s hope this year’s team doesn’t get blown out like those teams did. The late 80’s were all close ugly wins, one or two blown out losses, and a rare dominate win. Could you imagine if there were podcasts like yours back then? Here’s how I picture the 80’s with several Broncos podcasts: First, all hell breaks loose when Zach points out Elway stupidly threw three interceptions, all in triple coverage. Second, when Henry mentions the boring game plan, the drunk masses revolt as the parents hide the children and run. Third, the melodramatic podcast listeners, faint halfway through the post game pod as RK complains about the officials. Fourth, Heny tries to put a positive spin on things. The disgruntled hooligans would want nothing to do with a positive attitude, steal a real bucking bronco and let it loose in the nearest chandelier mega mall. And finally, during the comment section, the sky literally falls and all the plagues of the bible manifest over lodo. Oh, and yes, that was after an ugly win. lol Football fans are hilarious today, but back then? Kinda scary!

Petition to trade Melvin Gordon for WR depth. Please sign your name below:
Firstly, super glad to see the game operations stuff cleaned up this week. Curious as to why Russ isn’t playing like himself given all the input he apparently has in the offense. Is it Russ trying to modify his game as a pocket passer? Is it Hackett pushing him to play within the system?
Drew Peacock
I have a very RK-friendly question for you gents. What are the best numbers that a wide receiver can wear? Pick 1 single-digit number, 1 number in the teens, and 1 number in the 80s. I’d personally go with 5, 11, & 88
Kyler Vogt
A Dub is a dub! Three one-sentence takeaways:
We missed Josey Jewell!
I don’t care that he scored our only TD–Gordon’s fumbling is a liability and he shouldn’t see the field again.
You guys there one hell of a tailgate party!
Loved getting to meet you guys and enjoy my first Breckenridge brews before the game. Strawberry Sky is king. Let’s ride!
