???♂️ idk what I’m missing guys …. U would seriously trade up for Trey Lance ???? Like we have swung and missed twice on high ceiling developmental qbs ???? Isn’t it time to explore other options ??? Like I love u guys soo much I just don’t understand the idea of Trey Lance on our team trading up for him heck I wouldn’t draft him unless it was the bottom of the 1sy round like I just don’t understand why u wouldn’t give drew one last shot over investing more time in a raw high ceiling qb …. I mean he’s cost controlled but he’s an investment of time as well how long do u have to wait to see his celling how are we moving on from drews possible ceiling to guess what trey lances could manifest and be ??? And is shurmur gonna get that outta him this year with this roster …and u guys wanna trade up ??? ? I just don’t understand the trey Lance thing idk ….

I like your would you rather question. I’ll take the relevance over the championship. I’ll take elways broncos from say 86-97, always in the hunt and exciting every year over the broncos from 2015 to 2020, won it once and irrelevant since. Obviously it’s a shorter time span, and hopefully it won’t continue, but relevance as a sports fan is better, even if it doesn’t lead to the championship.

I’d cry myself to bed for the whole next season if Broncos trade for Sam Darnold. 0 upside, 0 potential, 0 excitement, 0 personality.
Gardner is a different story, insane upside considering he’s the 2020s Tom Brady, 100% potential, 200% excitement, 1000% personality. Since Deshaun is dirty AF Gardner would be an amazing trade. Please read the next part too.
The ever ending discussion in USA that weapons doesn’t kill people is so draining. Every country in the world have angry, sick, offended or people with mental problems. Still America have one of the biggest problem with mass shootings. As I wrote the other day, in Sweden we had TWO mass shootings since the 2nd World War, both 27 years ago. If a country is drowning in military grade firearms the chance that a angry, sick, offended or person with mental issues will use a gun instead of knife, machete, club or bat increases.
We had one school attack 7 years ago when a online radicalised nazi decided he wanted to kill some kids with immigrant background, he used a sword and managed to kill 2 teachers and 1 student, what would’ve happened if automatic firearms would be easily accessible in Sweden?
We will never get rid of mental issues, we can together help reduce the harm done to innocent people.

Whats up guys! Happy Monday. I think since the 49ers traded up they are looking to get Lance, and if thats the case I hope the Broncos trade back and roll it back with Drew while bringing in Minshew for competition. Also there has been alot of talk on the pod about getting a shelby harris T-shirt made. I think we should do a Shelby Harris/Manscaped shirt about saving balls for Broncos Country. Hope you all are staying positive and testing negative.

BTW guys, is the Miami Texans trade the best trade ever made in NFL? Miami has gotten 4 first rounders, a second rounder, Bademosi, Davenport for 4th, 6th, Tunsil and Stills unless my memory fails me?

MOCK DRAFT MONDAY!
Here is how I see the top 8 picks going.
1. JAX – Lawrence
2. NYJ – Wilson
3. SF – Lance
4. ATL – Fields
5. CIN – Sewell
6. MIA – Pitts
7. DET – Chase
8. CAR – Jones
This leaves every teams top defensive player still on their board. How much would this increase the value of the 9th pick?
Trade back scenario I see is trading back to the 16 with the Cardinals. They need a Corner, and they would need to pass the cowboys who also have that need! What would cardinals need to offer to get this deal done?
Just wanted to hear your thoughts! Thanks!

hey guys!
just thinking about the niners trading up;
i know everyone is assuming it’s for lance (or fields) but i’m convinced it’s for mac jones.
kyle shanahan has a type of qb and mac jones is who it is. i know he inherited matt schaub and matt ryan so he can’t gauge much from that but we know that he loved kirk cousins, he greenlit the trade for jimmy g and he himself confirmed that derek carr was his favorite qb of the 2014 class.
also remember back when the broncos traded for flacco and an nfl head coach said that the broncos ‘stole’ flacco and he was a perfect fit for the offense they wanted to run? i’m positive kyle was the coach behind that quote.
even last season, he said that he isn’t willing to sacrifice accuracy and decision making for mobility. his exact quote was ‘running ability is great, but not if there’s any trade-off with those traditional QB skills. ‘
i know it doesn’t make much sense on the surface to give up all that capital for a qb that might’ve been available at 12 but i’m convinced mac is the pick at 3. if that’s the case, the broncos might be still have a shot at lance/fields depending on what atlanta do. what do y’all think?

Hi guys, With the Niners making lots of noise and moving on up to secure 3rd… got me to thinking. What is the biggest gamble the Broncos have taken in terms of making a move be it up or down… and whats been our most successful…..or least succeassful of these moves.
Drew for QB
Here’s a scenario for y’all let’s say the broncos get a stimmy they can sign any one remaining free agent left and it won’t cost towards the cap who would you guys pick and to what deal

My boyz! Been listening to the pod since January 2019 and finally decided to pay my dues for the excellent content you guys have been providing week in and week out for Broncos fans all across the world. You got me!
I’m a lifelong Bronco fan, born and raised in Colorado and now living in Birmingham, Alabama. Zac, I usually give out of state Crimson Tide fans a hard time because they’re so obnoxious here, but I’ll give you a pass since you seem like a cool dude. Mase, I totally relate to your various stories about life in the south and I love your perspective on things.
RK, I love the energy and humor you bring on all your platforms. Altogether, you guys put forth the best Broncos podcast there is to the rest of us and I so appreciate it!
My Broncos related comment is this: who is the Broncos’ RB2 for this season? I’m guessing it’s Mike Boone since we grabbed him in FA, but isn’t there a case to be made that he’s equally valuable as a Special Teamer as he is as a runner? I feel like it’s all but guaranteed that we add to this position at some point in the draft.
P.S. If this comment is read on Monday, March 29th, then I would love a birthday shoutout! Thanks for all you guys do.

Fellas,
The ‘Mac’ in Mac Jones is short for McCorkle. Is this a situation like Smuckers, where with a name like McCorkle it has to be good?
Hayduke_Abides
Gents,
Well, that was quite a Friday.
First off, let me just say how much I have enjoyed the Three-Ring Circus. All of the guests have been great. It is really nice to see those folks in a relaxed setting, and I enjoy getting some fresh perspective and insight from them. I have Fridays off, and it is a great way to kick off the weekend!
Kudos to the 49ers for making a bold move. It is interesting that nobody is really sure who SF is targeting. I think it’s easy to forget how different draft boards can look from one team to another, and that is probably even more true this year with so many prospects having limited tape and COVID impacted seasons. If the Bronco’s guy (assuming they have one) is not the one SF is taking, we should be in the driver’s seat for a trade up to 4. Any chance John Lynch tips the Broncos off and gives us a leg up on the competition going into draft night?

My Boys!
Hope you guys are doing great. I have a question for you. What are the key differences between the team we have right now, and the team we had in 2015? The obvious difference is quarterback, but besides that. The reason I’m asking is because I’m wondering, what would it take to become that caliber of a team? (besides the acquisition of an above average quarterback) We have maybe even a better defense than 2015, I think as good offensive weapons, is it really only the quarterback that is not as good? Thanks guys, have a great Monday!
Much love
Sebastian

Hey guys!
Off to the NFC Least we go! We’ll start with the Dallas Cowboys. The Broncos have a winning streak dating back to 1998 against Jerry’s boys. Certainly the most memorable recently was the Madden game between Peyton Manning and Tony Romo. Ten different players scored touchdowns, including Manning lumbering in on a scramble. Add another Matt Prater game winning FG, and you have one of the most exciting games on the list of “best against”. Mase, was the 2000 Smackdown or the 2003 shutout a better game for your bucs?
Auszee
Great 3 ring guys, enjoyable as always.
Well, I’ve had Zach Wilson #2 on my board and his pro day didn’t change that at all. He’s special. Gladly will give up the picks similar to what SF did if we can get to #2.
Everything that has happened says to me, the Broncos either move up for a QB or down for a player that suits their needs that they can draft at the right value.
The draft pod boys brought up the Justin Herbert and Deshaun Watson both had concerns about processing speed, so I may need to look at Justin Fields again.
So where would you put Drew Lock if he could go back into the draft this year in comparison to the top QB’s in the 2021 draft? It doesn’t happen in the NFL, but let’s say he could be part of this draft. Rank them in your preference please.
Here’s mine.
1. Lawrence
2. Wilson
3. Lance
4. Fields
5. Lock/Jones – Polar opposites, but similar.
P.S. Minshew is 4.5….. 😉

Good to be on Friday and hang with you guys! Thanks for having me in the Red Zone. Could’ve done without the beat down – Zac pretty much bent me over his knee and reddened my backside like I was a 7-year old kid that got caught by his dad stealing a Snickers from 7-11. All good though we will lick our wounds and will be back stronger than ever.
The 9ers definitely shook up the draft on Friday, but that pick was always going to be used on a QB – either by Miami or traded to another team for one. There are too many top QBs in this draft. The only problem is that it wasn’t us who made the move up. SF gave up a ton but we should’ve matched it. There is still that #4 pick And if Paton loves 3 guys in this class (after Lawrence) as franchise QBs then we can still make it happen. I know some people say Vic wouldn’t want a rookie QB since he needs to win now, but I think this team is set up for a rookie to succeed. This defense is going to be elite no doubt, and I think we can follow the blueprint of the 2004 Steelers with Big Ben who went 13-0 as a rookie starting for them that season. They leaned on that defense while grooming a franchise QB and still winning. I actually think our offensive talent is better than that Steelers team too. Dak also went 13-3 as a rookie so you get the right guy in the right situation and a rookie QB can have a lot of success. A big move up to 4 all depends on how they feel about Justin Fields. But I hope they are taking a hard look at Zac’s boy Jones too because I could easily see that guy coming in with this team and having quick success. I’m starting to come around on him.
I’m all in on a rookie first round QB AND Lock as the competition though. All IN!

And Sorry but thanks for the birthday wishes for my daughter. You guys saw her studio Friday so I wanted to share a video of her playing eruption from 4 years ago when she was 13. You will like it if you have time check it out. If this link doesn’t work you can search 13 year old girl eruption solo and it pops right up. Later fellas

Enough of this NDSU talk. They’re a bunch of scrubs. #GODUKES!!!!
Mike Trout
While I’m sure Mase knows the hashtag reference, let me clarify NDSU plays James Madison University (dukes) in the FCS championship game like every year recently.

I was assuming the dolphins would draft Sewell with their new spot.
But onto Broncos…
How did the 3 amigos gain such notoriety in Broncos lore while never getting a 1000 yds receiving?
Big Thanks Anthony Miller, for being John’s first outside weapon over a decade into his career…
