Just to circle back to rooting for the Chiefs to win or not, I understand Henry’s point about feelings and sports, I was upset when the Chiefs beat the 49ers.
To DenverRivals point, I did consider that a Super Bowl win makes the Chiefs more attractive for free agents. But I think even if the Chiefs lose in the Super Bowl, free agents still see them as a strong team that can win a Super Bowl. They won it recently, they still have Mahomes, etc.
But I’m assuming when contract talks roll around, some agents will bring up the fact that their guy made contributions in the Super Bowl and helped get a ring and use that as leverage to get higher contracts from the Chiefs.
Anyway, I may yet root for the Eagles, I don’t know. What I do know is GO BRONCOS!

It seems like every prediction I’ve seen points to the Eagles (go Birds), which makes me super nervous about an underdog storyline for KC.
Here’s to hoping being an SB dog is just a Broncos thing.
