Hey yall, as i was reflecting on another lost broncos season and thinking about the what ifs, something was kinda bugging me with regards to this administration running this team and i wanted to get your opinion on it. Back about a decade ago, the chiefs had a 2 win season where they sent 6 (!!) pro bowlers to rep the AFC, which then probably helped the team land Reid as HC. I know that voting has changed and style has changed, but im also wondering if our team (as a whole) are/were doing enough to market our players and prospects? interested to hear your opinion about it, especially now as we are getting ready to hire a new coach (again)..

While I’m thrilled the Broncos have super rich owners, I’ve got reservations about them as well. Greg Peener (sic) didn’t build Walmart, he married into it. Rob Walton didn’t build Walmart for that matter either, his daddy did.
When I think of Walmart, I don’t think of super successful rich people. I think of a messy store with merchandise strewn everywhere guarded by cops who are shooing away homeless people. I think of refugees working for minimum wage and customers scraping together enough money to buy garbage quality products.
When you guys asked Penner what experience he will draw on to conduct a HC search he said, “Well it always comes down to people and culture.” …..Walmart culture?!
What do you guys think?
