Awe draft season, I love you so much. Quick draft questions, 1. Is Zaven Collins a fit for what Fangio likes to do with his LBs? His my favorite LB in the class, I know his not super fast or speedy to cover TEs, but his instincts seem great. Not to include his a Mammoth of a man. Question 2. Let’s say fields is there at 9, Paton is debating because he really does like lock, but understands the opportunity in front of him, then the most desperate team you know comes calling, the Chicago bears call and offer number 20, a 2022 first round pick and a 2023 first round pick. 3 FIRST ROUND PICKS, What would you guys do if you were Paton? I’m one of the biggest supporters of keeping Lock in place this season but you’re both right, if Fields somehow falls in our laps at 9 we gotta take him. That or trade back for a ton of assets. That said, I dont think he falls that far and we’re likely trading back anyway because it’ll make more long-term sense, and Paton seems like he likes to stockpile picks. Personally, I’d love to see a trade back to the mid/late teens and get a guy like Horn or Farley (if there). If last year told us anything, its that you simply cannot have have too many DBs on the roster and I’d rather take a guy now, let him earn PT in 2021 before letting him take over in 22 when we lose a guy to free agency.

Also I wouldn’t be BroncoTerp without trying to speak a 5th or 6th rd pick of Jake Funk into existence! And when it all goes to hell in 2 years, keep an eye on Taulia Tagovailoa (Tua 2), mark my words he will be a stud by his draft day 2023.
