I know the positions are very different, but the improvements that we’ve seen from Garret Bolles this season gives me some added hope for Drew Lock. It’s been frustrating seeing how high his ceiling, but seeing his floor much more often. It seems similar to what we saw from Bolles his first three seasons but with some good coaching and personal work he was able to turn it around and start playing elite. Maybe Drew’s interceptions can go the way of Bolles’ holding calls? I know this is probably comparing apples to oranges, but just a thought that popped into my head. Let’s start the getting our hopes way too high for the 2021 season!

Hey guys,
I don’t know your policy on cursing, so sorry in advance, but Vic is a dumbass. That timeout on the 2-point attempt and kicking the field goal with 9-seconds left on 2nd down put the nail in his coffin for me. I believe by this time next year Fangio and the front office will be fired. Could you see Mike Munchak being promoted to HC, or would a new owner and front-office completely start over?

Well with Elway relinquishing his GM position, does this change how the team goes forward at the Qb position? Since elway drafted drew, the next gm might not be convinced drew is the guy. Thoughts?

I know he has had issues in the past but what about looking at Scot McCloughan for the newly opened GM spot. He built championship caliber rosters in Seattle and San Fran. Then went on to help somewhat turn around Washington.

Hey boys!
Interested to see how the GM job shapes up and am exited to learn what will happen in the upcoming months.
Now that the season is wrapped up and done, I want your opinion on the top 5 favorite plays or moments of the season? Here’s mine-
5- Jerry Jeudys touchdown catch against the jets
4- Drew Locks opening throw against the patriots (mainly because I was caught so off guard by the play call)
3- Drew Locks 4 Touchdown performance against the panthers
2- Jerry Jeudys touchdown against the raiders yesterday
1- Comeback against the chargers
Thanks boys for the great coverage this season and I look forward to listening daily this off-season.

Greetings gents,
What a wild day! I was fully expecting us to roll it back without any real significant changes, and then Elway steps back from the GM roll. This could have some drastic changes for the Broncos this year, and I really enjoyed Mase’s piece on this very subject. I saw the tweets that Matt Russell will be retiring, so he won’t be the upcoming GM. Who are some of the early early candidates? I keep seeing Louis Riddick’s name being brought up on Twitter and in other team GM interviews, what are his qualifications and I guess the qualifications in general that make a good GM?
Stay safe and stay healthy gang.

Fellas,
I can’t believe nobody sees what is really going on here. Obviously Elway giving up the GM position is a move to get Lincoln Riley to come to Denver. He wants to have full say over the roster, well he will have it. Fangio will be the defensive coordinator. We will trade the 9th pick and Lock to Jacksonville to get Trevor Lawrence and all will be right in Broncos Country. You might as well stop discussions about what might happen since this is 100% going to happen. You’re welcome everybody.

Hey DNVR Broncos gang. This is gonna be a bit long, however we are all officially in off-season mode, so I feel a little less bad. Right off the top, thank you guys for covering the Broncos as well as they’d let you. Thank you all for staying late at the facility and running post game and emergency pods, and for repeating yourselves on questions a day a part, for interacting with all of us in the Discord and over Twitter, though I find myself in the Discord much more often because the discourse is much better and much more informative. But right now I’d like to tackle a topic that’s tough (say it 5 times fast Mase). I know John Elway said earlier today that the new GM would have final say on the roster construction, coach, and draft, but truthfully I have a hard time seeing that person come in and immediately make any large sweeping changes. It sure seems like while John Elway is giving final say to the new GM, I’d hope the new GM has enough respect for Vic and John to collaborate with them on making decisions, big or small. I know that won’t happen for every single decision made but it should happen for most of them early on. Of course as the GM gets more comfortable, that seems like an ideal time to allow more and more autonomy, but still with collaboration. What do you guys think about how the situation will unfold? Again, thank you very, very much DNVR Broncos gang, was very glad to ride with you and everybody else all season, and I will ride with you through the off-season, and next season. Raise a Breck Brew, cheers all, go DNVRmy, and go Broncos.

Wow-what a day. I have really mixed feelings about Elway’s announcement. On the one hand, it feels like the end of an era that was at the end of the day a great one for the Broncos. On the other hand, the end of an era means the start of something new, and frankly they can probably use a little fresh air in Dove Valley. One thing is certain, this just went from what I expected to be a relatively quiet offseason to something a lot more interesting. I’m excited to see how it shakes out.

Wow, a dream came true while I slept. All respect to Elway, but it is the right time. Play some Golf, play with the grandkids, provide perspective to the Broncos without having to live in the building.
Thoughts:
1. This just ramped up this offseason from potentially dull continuity, to all things are possible, though I do think continuity will still happen, just not as much
2. My gut tells me is this new GM will come in and assess the player talent and make moves there, but the coaching staff is safe unless the season goes south fast, until the end of the season, when this GM can make that call
3. Could Elway and Fangio be split on Drew and he wants someone else to make the call?
We have 115 days till the draft, we will have much to discuss in this time. It will be fun. Thanks John for looking out for the team first.

Without going into too much detail(I’ll allow y’all to do that if you’d like), do you suspect this off field issue to play into possibility Von comes back/ suspension?
Briggzyy
Doesn’t come back*
