Hey Guys!
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted. Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for keeping up the good work on the pod! You’ve always been a welcome bit of positivity in my day, regardless of how the Broncos have been playing. Having just received my first dose of the vaccine on Monday, I can understand the cheeriness in Mase’s voice in the pods after his first dose. It was an overwhelming sense of relief for myself, but even more so for my family who were lucky enough to get their shots too. We are getting through this, and hopefully we can cheer on our Orange and Blue together soon!
On the Broncos, I have been hoping we’d draft a modern, dual threat QB for a long time. However, I have to say, after watching Mac Jones, I wouldn’t mind seeing us draft him. Sign me up for accuracy and quick decision making! I want to call my shot now and say that he is going to do well in the league. Although I concede that I may be totally wrong and could end up eating crow! In the end, as long as we don’t pick up Foles I’ll be optimistic!
Thanks again!

What’s something that your partner really loves that you don’t, but you go along with to keep the peace ?

Any inside scoop that you guys have on the Deshaun Watson situation? At first, I thought this situation was simply the result of a publicity-seeking attorney trying to create a stir. Now, I’m not so sure. Whatever the true situation is… it sucks. I feel awful for the women if Deshaun really is a dirtbag. I feel awful for Deshaun if he’s just being targeted as a high-profile target.
In any event… what once was the “All-Roads-Lead-To-DDW” train seems to have been appropriately detailed for the foreseeable future.
Not to be a bummer of a comment… just curious to see if you guys have any inside scoop beyond whatever is hitting the headlines every other day.

While a first round quarterback would be exciting, I’m still leaning towards giving Drew one more season. I think a little bit of continuity would really let us see who he is as a player. Do you think there’s a situation where next season Drew plays well enough to show he’s the guy, but the team decides to move on from Pat Shurmur? It seems that their respective futures with the Broncos are dependent on each other.

Fellas,
We talk about the reward that comes with trading up and getting a top QB. But that also comes with risk. If Broncos Country is miserable now, how is it going to be if the guy is a dud. Paxton Lynch is still casting a shadow on the team and they only gave up a 3rd to move up 5 spots. What kind of damage will be done if they give up 2 future 1’s?
How say you?

hey guys!
so we know that jeudy can’t catch, right? what do y’all think about having him switch positions to corner instead? i feel like it makes a lot of sense and would save the broncos from using a pick on a corner this year?
OrangeBroncoUK
Is this Colin Cowherd??

Hey Gents! Long time no comment. I just want to give a shout out to you guys and my best friend (and best man) Sherriff Pikey for the shout out on my engagement from yesterday’s pod. I’m feeling incredibly grateful and blessed that she said yes and for the well wishes from the DNVR crew.
No questions today just a big thank you!
Keep up the awesome coverage and as always go Broncos!
Cheers!!!
Orange and Blue all over
Howdy gents,
Did you happen to catch the Ross Tucker’s interview with Fitz-magic? It was gold! Fitz told story about how he proposed to his wife at a gas station McDonald’s and had a big take on breakfast foods i feel like we need a DNVR take on. Fitz’s favorite meal to start the day is the breakfast corndog (basically a sausage on a stick wrapped in a pancake). Is this the new breakfast of champions? If you had a choice between a breakfast corndog and a pop tart – which one you reaching for?

Hey guys,
Anyone hear Colin Cowherd latest mock. Selected Micah Parsons and followed it up with “Denver is a bad defensive team”
Um what?
Orangecrush
Sorry can I also add,
Rumors about Rodgers and Green Bay starting up again.
Put Rodgers on this Broncos team. Where do they finish next year?
Drew for QB
I just wanna say this now I think we can all agree Colin cowherd was speaking out of his ass if you didn’t see the clip he said that “Denver is a bad defensive team with a million needs on defense” guy just makes me mad anyway how do you guys think Courtlands gonna do this year coming off that acl I know its the first year back isn’t normally great but I feel as if anyone can make that it’d be him. Is he a sleeper for Comeback player of the year?
Alright go around and everyone say 2 nice things about Drew Lock

My boys!
Hope you guys had a wonderful Wednesday. A few things here today. First, I say an emphatic YES to bringing the ladies onto the pod! I don’t remember who suggested this in the comments, but I think it’s a great idea! Second, did any of you see Colin Cowherd’s comments about the Broncos’ defense? How they have a “bad defense” and a million things to fix? Of course, I’m paraphrasing, but it seems like he simply doesn’t know anything about the Broncos defense, right? Along with all the weapons we have, we have one of, if not the best defensive mind in the entire NFL. Just seemed kind of ludicrous to me that he said that and wanted your thoughts. Finally, wanted to give you guys a scenario. Say the Broncos have this exact team, draft Kyle Pitts, and get the Peyton Manning of 2013 as QB. Do you pick us to win the Super Bowl? We have to at least make the Conference Championship against the Chiefs, right? I’m picking us to win the Super Bowl, but that could be my bias showing. Just wanted to daydream about the Broncos in the Super Bowl with you guys for a second. Have a terrific Tuesday, and I can’t wait for the Three Ring Circus pod on Friday!
Much love,
Sebastian

In regards to tight end duo’s, the word tour looking for is “prolific”
Let’s get the Pitts. Give lock another year. If he can’t succeed with these weapons and this defense, run him out of town.
Go broncos.

Hey guys!
We finish up the NFC East with the Washington Redactions. The two have had an incredibly competitive history. The series is tied all time at 7 apiece. RK recently argued the second best trade in franchise history was between these teams (Bailey-Portis). Washington, of course, has the one that truly counts, riding a backup QB jettisoned from the bucs, Doug Williams, to hand Denver one of those superbowl losses we all want to forget about. But in 1986, Elway and Schroeder dueled at Mile High. An early missed extra point put the now Redactions at a point disadvantage that didn’t seem to matter until the very end. What Elway did in the air, Washington responded by pounding the rock. Washington took an early 13-0 lead, blew it, then clawed all the way back to 29-31 inside the two minute warning. Inexplicably, Washington decided to kick a single extra point rather than gamble to tie the game. The kick was good, and Denver wins 31-30. This is my nominee for the best game against the Redactions. What say you? And what about Mase’s Bucs?
And what was the best game against the NFC East?

Good morning from the UK!
Gents am I missing something?
How on EARTH does Colin Cowherd still get any air time!
Denver have ‘a million defensive needs’ and are ‘an awful defensive team’ …. you have to question if he just craves more attention than the kardashians or whether he even watches football!
Stay safe fellas and thanks for all you do!

Greetings gents,
Doing some pondering here recently about the draft and had a couple questions. These might be a mase thing but if rk or zac knows awesome.
Has there ever been a player drafted by one team earlier in the draft and then a trade for that exact player from a team happened later in the draft. I feel like this scenario is more common in the NBA draft.
Also has there ever been a blockbuster trade for a player for pick happen on night one of the draft? Like for instance we trade Von Miller straight up for the 25 overall pick or something like that?
Thanks for all that you do. Go iceman, zac, mase, rk and of course the Broncos!

Fellas,
You had me licking my chops thinking about two TE sets yesterday. The best part about having two dominate TEs is you can move them around. Start them on the line, motion them to the slot, bring them in the back field. I wanna see a full house set. Drew is a dancer let’s get him some motion out there. There were Browns games last year where they motioned 90% of their offensive plays. Maybe I’m a dreamer but I think if this offense was run like the browns it would bring out what Drew does well.
All this to say I don’t think it hurts to have too much of a good thing because it builds a teams identity which is what we lack. Wouldn’t mind seeing us draft a corner at 9 and being the team the fiercest lock down corner rotation in the league. At least we would be known for something.

Hey guys!
I love u but …..C’mon with the Kyle Pitts thing ! Idk I just subscribe to a different philosophy I don’t give a damn where you were drafted at if you can play you can play ! Im not taking Kyle Pitts when albert O has yet to get a real opportunity …..
I just feel like there’s so many things that involve team building that you guys are ignoring in fascination with Kyle Pitts …..???
That is a dependent position if your qb isn’t good or if the online can’t block it does not matter how good Pitts is because the offense will suck and his skills will never come to fruition
I mean Jerry Jeudy was our unicorn ? last year we never thought Jerry Jeudy would make it to us at 15 we thought we were gonna have to trade up we were hoping for ruggs ….. Or settling for Justin jefferson if push came to shove …..
And we got him and now people are skeptics of him wondering can he make contested catches … Questioning his heart etc …… But people ignore the uncatchable passes the horrible timing lock had with him and horrible qb play ….. If you switch him and Justin jefferson teams what would jeffersons season would have been like here and Jeudy with Minnesota ???
I would love to hear you guys speak about trading down ⬇️ ……. Because unless qb is there at 9 I see 0 reason to stay at 9 I rather gather picks use those extra picks to find a qb to trade for in the future or select next year idk …..

What’s up fellas, hopefully, I got this in on time. Mase, I want to know if you find hazing the biggest red flag a prospect can have? I have never heard you talk so poorly of a prospect’s character than you have of Micah Parsons. Although the reports have been very bad they are still allegations and the worst one involved a current NFL player as another perpetrator who didn’t have any public issues his rookie year. When Gotsis was drafted, his allegations were far worse, and your coverage of him was always on the positive side. Was this because you were still with the Broncos at the time and were restricted? Also, Justin Fields no matter what. Roll Donkeys

Hey guys,
All I got to say is a love the Kyle Pitts first segment. I will keep bringing his name up every week just to try and speak it into existence for Denver.
