My boys!
Been a while since I’ve commented but I’m excited to meet you guys and finally see the DNVR bar in person week 18! Would have been great to see the chargers get knocked out of the playoffs in a means-nothing game for the Broncos but the tailgate and bar should have enough breck brews for me to get over it pretty quick. I’m regrettably bringing my friend who’s a chiefs fan (lol) and I’m trying to find an Airbnb within walking distance from the bar so if you guys have any suggestions, that’d be appreciated! Go Broncos and go DNVR.

As the name suggests I’m a bit biased here, but I love the idea of Denver using a late round draft pick on Max Duggan. In my opinion, I think Denver should be looking for a developmental QB that could sit 1-2 years as we try to get Russ working again. Should Russ find his old form, then no harm no foul, you only used a mid-late pick. If he doesn’t, we could at least get some exciting play! To get Zac excited, Duggan gets compared to Tebow all the time! Anyways, thanks boys for keeping me entertained during a really rough season… Go frogs this weekend!

Gentlemen, quite the week!
First, thanks for your always excellent coverage and opinion – both on the pod and in print – including working on Christmas Day and an emergency pod on Boxing Day, when most of the world had it’s feet up. Kudos!
Second, I believe George Paton knows what he’s doing, especially on the player side. He’s a very good GM. I know he’s getting grief for the Russ contract but I reckon this was probably negotiated as part and parcel of the trade (like Chubb’s contact at Miami), and we were all happy enough about it at the start of the season. Everything is easy to judge in hindsight.
Third, I feel for Hackett on a personal level, but the decision and the timing were correct. I think he was unwise to hire such an inexperienced staff and was a victim of that as much as his own limitations as a Head Coach.
Finally, I’m with RK that Wilson’s drop-off is unfathomable. At his age I can’t get my head round how he can regress so much – it must be more than just him – the coaching, the playbook, the injuries – the O-line. I feel (and hope) that it’s an anomaly, just like Von said.
On we go. Let’s try and win out to worsen the Seahawks pick! Go Broncos and go DNVR.
All the best, Christopher
