Second comment.

Just wanted to put in 2 cents on the state of our country and thank DNVR for doing their part by listening and supporting the important cause of creating equality. Racial equality is something that’s extremely important to me and racial injustices, past and present, have an unusually powerful impact on my emotions. But we need to remember that equality won’t be achieved if we accidentally swing the pendulum too far in the other direction. I have friends of color that support this idea. Picking the African American kid last for your kickball team on the playground, all based on his color is racist, but it’s equally racist to pick him first for the same reason. Minorities don’t need is to lower base standards or give them freebies cause of their race/color. Doing so is another form of racism. Let’s all stand together, listen to our brothers and sisters in their time of need and fight for TRUE equality.

I have spoken, MileHighMike.

Hey amigos. 21 TDs for 15/16 games is not nearly enough! The NFL is no longer a 3 yards and a cloud of dust league. It is a flat out passing league now. The pass sets up the run in 2020. 1+ passing TD per game is not good @ all. Playoff QB’s need to throw 2-3 TD’s per game, win or lose. Roanoke for me Mase but I worked for my uncle in the summers in Portsmouth. 🙂 GO AMERICA

Hey y’all. Appreciate y’alls words about everything going on lately. And after mr Spano’s statement, I am even more happy to be a part of the community. Also just got my Breck brew gear from draft night, it’s all super dope. My question; I’m a big proponent for bausby, what do y’all think is realistically his role and potential this year?

Hey Gents,
First, Who had the best mile high salute? My vote goes to Mike Anderson.
Second, with all the talk of the potential salary cap issues coming up for the next season I’m curious to know how similar or different it is in comparison to the recession years of the last decade.
Finally, just got to say thank you. Thank you for being a beacon of light for most of our lives and giving us something to look forward to 5 days a week.I’m pumped to be part of this community finally and looking forward to joining in arms with brother and sister alike at the DNVR Bar and embrace the awesomeness that this community truly is. Stay safe, give a loved one a hug and tell them you love them. Go DNVR!

I am proud of our head coach. Definitely not for his initial comments but for his sincere apology and the humility to admit how incorrect he was. The point of this movement has to be to create awareness. We need to allow people to learn right now, and Vic is doing just that. This country clearly has improving to do, and it starts with us all opening our eyes and listening to other perspectives. Vic is doing that.
Vic makes me think of Belichick. He is a coach through and through. I think he lives is the sport of football and allows it to consume him. He isn’t completely aware of social injustices. But, he is listening right now when it matters the most.

One more point. He isnt being prejudice or malicious. Just ignorant. That is something we need to be able to forgive IF he is willing to learn.

Hey all, hope you are having a great day.

First things first, this is an old topic but sushi is acceptable every meal! Noone can convince me otherwise. Delicious, especially for breakfast.

On to the Broncos. I’m so excited about this offense. The potential to have Phil, Courtland, Jeudy, Fant and Hamler all on the field with Lock slinging it is about as much as a fan can hope for. Let’s hope they put it together on the field and not just on paper.

My question is simple, of all the sports games you’ve been to, which had the rowdiest atmosphere, whether you were covering it or there just as a fan.

Thanks for always taking the time to read these comments. Always special to hear them answered.

We should have listened to Kaepernick and Marshall and Reid. We should’ve done more.

FoLks! Another Bum Talk Friday is upon us! Speaking of bum last names, Jake Butt has recently informed various media outlets that his knees are healthy and that he will be ready to compete in training camp. To have kept Butt around for so long, the Broncos must really like him and want him to defy the odds. Besides staying completely healthy, what type of training camp and preseason does Butt have to have to realistically make the final roster? Would the Broncos consider placing Butt on the practice squad due to changes in eligibility rules this offseason?

Also, I have a hard time not thinking that Drew Lock will far exceed Mike Clay’s projections for him in 2020. In 13 total games and 12 starts last season under Pat Shurmur and Mike Shula, Daniel Jones threw for 24 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, along with 3,027 yards. Over a 16 game period, that would amount to 3,725 passing yards, 29.5 touchdown passes, and 15 interceptions. I say, go with the over on Lock this season.

Thanks for talking us through a challenging week and time. Have a feel good Friday and wonderful weekend. DNVRMY SALUTE!

Good morning everyone!! I have a quick hypothetical football question for Zac. I’ll preface my question by saying I know the scenario won’t play out because Drew is going to take us to some Super Bowls, all of them to be exact.

But in an alternate reality where we go a different direction next year and snag Aaron Rodgers, as was discussed earlier this week I believe we would see the performance of a lifetime. Not from Aaron Rodgers, he’s garbage of course. But from Zac, his tap dancing around previous statements while reporting on Rodgers would be second to none!! So my football question for Zac: on a scale of 1 to “crap I have to interview him now” how amazing are your tap dancing skills to pull off a year of reporting on your favorite garbage QB?!

Have a great weekend everyone

I’m a police dispatcher. I answer 911 calls from all citizens needing help, I dispatch my police officers to help those people in crisis. I do my best to protect the citizens I serve and keep my officers safe. I know my officers have the citizens safety and well being first in their mind. I hope that we can see humanity in all people, all races and whether or not they wear a badge. We are all human. We can embrace each other. We can celebrate each other. We can mourn with each other. Let love win.

So yesterday I go to my local craft beer store to grab some Vanilla Porter. I live in NY and it’s the only beer listed on the Breck Brew Finder but I love it. Get to the store and to my surprise some Nitro Vanilla Porter and Strawberry Sky, only on pack of each. Needless to say I grabbed both. Maybe things are looking up in this world and good things are on the horizon.

Hey guys, not sure if this is going to make the pod or not, but here goes anyway…

I am a couple of pods behind, and just heard you all say you would rather have Mahomes for $120m per year, or the maximum salary that would enable you to have a full roster of vet minimum players.

I hate to disagree with you guys so vehemently, but that is totally ludicrous. That boy would be on his arse on nearly every snap, possibly even die on the field, certainly be ravaged by injuries, as he would get SMASHED. No one would be open, he’d have no run game, no defense. Your team would concede a 50 burger every game, and be by far and away THE WORST team in the history of ANY premier sport.

Easily THE worst take I have ever heard you guys mention.

Mahomes is the best young QB I have seen in recent years, even more impressive than Rodgers, but he’s not divine. Speaking of divine, I would wager that in the same situation, ma boi would win more games than Mahomes would. Discuss.
