It was a bitter sweet day in Broncos Country today. While I definitely wish Emmanuel the best in Santa Clara, I sure will miss seeing him on game days…even though lately he may as well have been on another team anyway with how he was being utilized.
I do have a question…What are the Broncos thinking?? Today I could have sworn we would see Drew Lock participating in practice, only to hear news that he was still in street clothes!!! This definitely puts a potential Drew Lock start pushed back until after the Bye week. And we all know they’re not going to start him against that vaunted Vikings defense, as well as the Bills defense, both of those on the road. We have seen the limits to what Flacco could do, pushing this can down the road is nonsensical and baffling. Well, Go Broncos, can’t wait for draft season at this point.

I am glad most of this community is on the same brain waves for the most part. There is a rather large portion of Broncos fans saying we lost this trade today and that this is just showing that we do not have fight left this season and that we are waving the proverbial white flag.

Well duh!

How can some people believe we lost this trade? Sanders moves on to a place that has a chance to contend, Denver gets two picks. Sure they werent the best picks, but something is better than nothing.

Still on the fire Elway band wagon, ill conduct that train until he derails it or we finally pull into the dream station, but if this is a step in the “We are rebuilding” direction and he is ready to admit that, ill buy in for a little bit.

Also, Golic and Wingo were talking about TB12 to Denver next season lol. Talk about signing washed up hacks am i right! (joking of course. Id love a 900 year old Tom Brady).

Hey fellas, just saw the Sanders trade and gotta say that it felt right for him, as well as the Broncos, to move on. I’m glad he is getting a shot with a contender. I think we got a pretty fair trade for him with the 3rd and 4th round picks. Seems like we are already stock piling with picks (7 in the first 4 rounds) Firstly, what grade would you give the trade? Secondly, what do you guys think would be better to do with those picks? Use them as they are? Or use them to trade up to secure higher picks? Thanks for all you guys do! Go Broncos and go DNVR!

Mase & I called it yesterday, Emmanuel Sanders was shipped off to SF and man am I impressed with this trade. I know Elway always get slack from fans but it’s moments like this why he’s such a great GM. I can’t believe we got a 3rd and a 4th for a 32 year old WR coming off of an Achilles injury. I was skeptical that we would even get a 3rd because teams would be hesitant due to his Achilles. Hats off to Elway for making this trade happen. Also Emmanuel will greatly be missed but I’m glad he got to move on like he wanted. We need to have guys on the team that want to be a bronco and still want to be on the ship, even if it is sinking.

Another quick comment, I saw on this on twitter yesterday, John Barchard, who I guess covers Philly sports tweeted that he’s hearing from multiple sources that Von is a “cancer” to the team. Now Barchard is a verified account so is there any validity to this?? If anyone would know it would definitely be my guys at DNVR. Hopefully this is a bunch of BS because I would never think of Von being a cancer to the team. He’s definitely not a Ray Lewis personality but he’s for sure a leader.

Hello from bourbon country. The very first game this year immediately made me go oh crap here we go again. After watching “Night of the Living Flacco” I’m starting to think I’d like to see Allen or anyone just to see something different. Are there any matchups against Indy? I am looking for any excuse to have hope for my birthday weekend to be good but I just don’t see it.
I am going after more Vanilla Porter thi weekend but may need to step up to Kentucky Straight if i have to watch more of this dumpster fire of an Offense hurting my beloved Broncos. The Bronco horse tattoo on my arm is crying now. At least I still have you guys to look forward to listening to.

Been listening for a while and just subscribed after I found out DNVR carried all of @zerosixacademy 0-line break down videos. Great trade for Denver and Hemanual Sanders!!! Sanders was a gem to watch for the last six seasons. Sanders was able to go to a winning team with playoff asperations and Denver just got a 3rd and a 4th for a 32 yr old WR on a CONTRACT YEAR. Almost as soon as I said it, I may actually be coming out to a Broncos game! The Lions are probably going to be it, as I will be on Christmas Break and won’t have to worry about rushing home. Will definitely stop by if I am able to go! Go Broncos!

Emmanuel Sanders was my spirit animal since he arrived in Denver. I don’t fault Sanders for wanting the ball more after the PFM days and the fact that he is one of the more electric players at the position.

With that said you absolutely couldn’t have asked for more in a trade for him. A great deal by Elway, who’s been very good at moving on from players at the right time.
