Mile High Till I Die
I’ve been trying to figure out if the Broncos will re-sign Melvin Gordon this off-season. I think it will end up depending on whether or not we get Russell Wilson or Aaron Rodgers. If we get one of two, we probably don’t need 2 starting caliber running backs and may not be able to afford Melvin regardless. However much I want one of those two quarterbacks, I see those scenarios as unlikely and in the case they aren’t coming to save the day, I think we should resign Melvin. Whether we trade for Garapollo, ride with Lock or draft a QB, we will likely still be dealing with middling QB play or worse and we will need to rely on an elite running game and defense to pick up the slack. Also, from Melvin’s perspective, it could make sense to stay in Denver; he could potentially prolong his career by splitting carries with Javonte and taking less damage over time as a result

My boys,
I have a theory….
Joe Ellis already knows who the buyer of the team is…….
George Paton is consulting with this owner, regarding the coaching search!
Just a theory, but you never never know….
Cheers.

Awesome coverage on the coaching search and the ownership details boys! I’m well informed!
I’m guessing once the coach is hired that’s when we will have a better idea on who the QB will be?
I’m getting my dad setup to be a member for his birthday. He is retired and wants to listen to the pods and comment. I’m coaching him to not use profanity as he has been a Broncos fan for 7 decades. Soon we will visit the bar together.
Much love.

Hey guys,
I have a fun hypothetical question I saw on Twitter. If Roger Godell offer the Broncos a spot in the AFC Championship this year but had to give up their next two first round picks. So basically be two games away from a super bowl with this current team or waste valuable picks to build for the future. Would you guys take the deal?

What’s up fellas? Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in on the coaching search. I watched a couple of youtube videos of Nathaniel Hackett, because I didn’t know much about him personally. He seems full of energy and very player friendly which are a big plus in my opinion. So I could get behind him or Dan Quinn with an OC like Mike McDaniel or Luke Getsy. I think a coach connecting with his players can be just as important as X’s and O’s. Not to pile on Vic but he just kind of reminded me of Luther Van Dam from the TV series coach. Peace Out.
Hey Fellas, Allbright has been dropping some interesting nuggets on BCT lately and last night he mentioned in speaking with members of the Cowboys organization they believe two things are near certainties;
1. That Dan Quinn will be the next head coach of the Broncos, matter of when not if.
2. The Cowboys front office is CONVINCED Aaron Rodgers is heading to Denver.
Do you think Quinn has told people internally he wants to come to Denver? Do you believe there have been any behind the scenes machinations around a Rodgers trade since last offseason? Is this wishful speculation or do the Cowboys know something we don’t?

As I do more research on the draft it’s becoming increasingly appealing to me to trade down in the draft. What is a realistic haul for our number nine pic?
Draft specialists are saying there’s really not an elite top 10 draft class but there is great value 10 through 100. maybe we load up on picks this year and next year to get great value rather than reaching at nine

What are the chances we could have Mahomes, Rogers with us, Herbert, and Wilson with the raiders in our division next year?

What’s going on with Russ in Seattle reminds me of the elway/reeves situation which ended in reeves being fired. It will be interesting to see where this all goes
