Not much of a hockey guy but I heard when the Golden Knights were made, their expansion draft included taking a player from each team that wasn’t “locked” (basically getting every teams second or third best players). Not sure if that’s how the NFL does it, but who from the Broncos do you think would be picked? The obvious lock would be Miller, so I’m curious to see in this hypothetical scenario who you would think to be chosen. At first, I thought it would be Chris Harris, but he may be a little older for a new team so I would think a player such as Roby or even Ray/Barrett. Thanks guys!

I love this question, Jared! Can’t wait to talk about it on tomorrow’s pod!!

In hockey you get to protect so many players from each position or skaters overall. With so many more positions in football, that would be tough!

Would love your thoughts on a couple of recent cuts… Incognito (think they wouldn’t bring in because of character issues) and Kendricks.

The cellphone celebration was Joe Horn for the Saints by the way.

I had a backlog of podcasts that I caught up on last night, so can’t remember if this was from Tuesday or Wednesday, but Dave Thomas is the Wendy’s guy, not David Williams. On to my question. Years ago there was a story about how Pat Bowlen would invite any former Bronco into his suite to watch Broncos game no matter how many games the guy played. One guy who regularly took advantage of that was one Bradlee Van Pelt. Is Nick Stevens just doing the Bradlee Van Pelt move to secure lifelong season tickets the easiest way possible so he doesn’t have to be on a ten year waitlist? If so, that’s a smart man, securing permanent Broncos season tickets for only a year or two of the practice squad life.
