Zac, if you are still looking for a funny stand up to watch may I recommend Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias. Watch his first special called Hot and Fluffy and skip to the last joke. I have heard it hundreds of time but I still bust up laughing at it.

Now my football question: Which rookie needs to have an outstanding season to help the Broncos make the playoffs? Is the obvious answer Fant or is there another choice? My pick: Dalton Risner.

Hello Zac and Henry!

Let’s touch on a couple points here.

Receivers can only be as good as the person throwing them the ball and I think we can all agree that the QB play last season wasn’t doing the receivers any favors. Hamilton should be fine moving forward. As the QB play improves so will his numbers.

Hearing that McGovern is struggling with snapping the ball is disconcerting to say the least. It really makes me miss Tom Nalen. #66 was a beast under center and we need another feared player like that on our O line.

Lastly, I know it’s the job of the national sports media to say controversial things to keep people talking and rile up the fan base, but even then they should try to keep some of the rhetoric in check. Rank’s claim of 2-14 is of course ridiculous, but now you have Maurice Jones-Drew saying Lindsay is only the 26th ranked starting RB coming into this season.

Does he watch football? How does a 1000 yard, pro bowl rusher end up 6th from the bottom of that list? Is Jones-Drew just trolling, or do people really think Lindsay is going to just lay an egg in his second season?

In all my years watching football I cannot remember a single player who just suddenly forgets how to play the game in the course of one off season.

A few thoughts:
1. Alzheimer’s is a terrible disease, I’ve experienced it with my grandparents as well. Thanks for sharing your story Henry.
2. It’s been great to see the pictures and read the articles from the last few weeks on Mr. B. Do you think the field would ever get named in his honor? I know the naming rights of the stadium will get sorted out at some point (hopefully), but once in the stadium it would be cool to see a sign that said, “Pat Bowlen Field”.

I tend to be one who dwells on the past when it comes to football that being said
You have the opportunity to select any player from the past 3 drafts (2017,2018,2019) you don’t have to give up any thing and have all your current players who are you taking? (For fun sake no QBs) notables include Zeke Elliot, jalen Ramsey, saquan, Derwin James, roquan Smith and many more. Who you got and why?

While quinten Nelson is tempting I’m gonna have to go with roquan smith, he’s exactly what we need.

As for comedians give John Mulaney a listen he seems like he would fit your humor well.

Next if you had one week to go anywhere in the world all expense paid where would you go?

What’s the best concert or show you’ve seen in person? I saw the eagles with Chris Stapleton and Vince Gill singing Glenn Frey’s parts. They played for 3-1/2 hours not including stapletons parts phenomenal show.

Hey so NFL network came out and declared that there were 22 Rbs that are “better” than Phillip Lindsay??? What??? How can someone who put up the numbers like him be snubbed so easily. They even have Josh Jacobs as an unproven rookie rated higher. I think again given the opportunity there is no reason Phil should not finish in the top 10 in rushing as well as easily over 1,200 all-purpose yards. Why so much hate from the national media?

Also Henry, you are doing a great job bringing in a new perspective to the pod.

Hey y’all,

I loved the DaeSean discussion and share your feeling that his rookie season was very promising and ultimately successful, even if he didn’t quite live up to the unreasonable preseason hype. Looking forward to this year, it sounds like DaeSean has the third WR job locked up in part because he’s a better fit for it than Tim Patrick. I’d love to see DaeSean on the field more often, but could also totally imagine our most dangerous 3 WR set having Sutton and PATRICK on the outside, with Sanders in the slot. Is that combination being explored? I think Patrick (or anyone else, for that matter) should be able to win the third receiver job without being required to play inside.
