If the scenario you laid out about happens (trading back to pick up an extra first for next year), wouldnt you also trade players such as Chris Harris or Von (DISCLAIMER: I’m NOT wanting to but this would make sense). If you pass on a QB this year and stick with Case all season, you’re basically saying next year is the year, and it’s unfair for Von and CHJ to keep playing on a mediocre team and waste a year of their prime. Again before I get absolutely trashed, this isnt what I want!

Thanks for the thorough answer about the draft plan guys! Zac basically outlined my dream scenario. I say let the other qb desperate teams fight for Haskins this year and just build ammunition to ensure you get Tua next year. The interaction with staff at BSN is one of my favorite parts about being apart of the community. Jdfry did bring up a good point about trading the more talented guys on the roster in fairness to them, didn’t think about that. In regards to Zac Taylor, if you guys were betting men (maybe you already are), what odds would you give the Broncos making Taylor their coach. If they did choose Taylor, does that illuminate the potential draft plan at qb being this year more than next year? Thanks again guys!

Talking about a future HC in his late 20s, I think you were describing Charlie Weiss jr. the 25 year old OC under Lane Kiffin.. had the no. 8 offense in the country

Hey guys, i dont think kubiak as hc is the same as kubias as an oc, as an oc he has done a tremendus job with the broncos and ravens, the qbs and rb under him have had grate seasons. I think everyone is thinking of him from his days in Houston and his days with the broncos as hc. What do you think?
Happy new year to all the community

Let’s talk about the HOF finalists for a minute. There are 4 total Broncos that are finalists and I while I think Bowlen is a lock, do you guys think Champ and Atwater both make it in?
Legend has it that 70% of the earth is covered by water and the other 30% is covered by Champ Bailey.

I’m completely with you on swinging for the fences RK. On that side of things, how bout this scenario: Zac Taylor as HC, Kubiak as Asst HC/OC, and DeMarcus Ware as DC.
Kubiak can help Tayler with his transition to HC while also being present as a fall back plan if the season hits the fan. Additionally, D Ware brings “excellence” to the defensive side of the coaching staff. He has a wealth of defensive knowledge, will immediately command the respect of the players, and has already begun to hone his coaching skills in a limited role this season.
At QB, while still swinging for the fences, we draft Drew Lock. He has the “golden arm” and can be developed over the season behind Case. I know you are not fond of Lock RK, but I’m my eyes he has the greatest upside potential to become something special. Additionally, he has a high likelihood of galled below Haskins in the draft, making him more accessible for less draft capital. You could even call him the poor man’s An(drew) L(o)ck!
TLDR: Taylor/Kubiak/Ware/Lock
Much Love to the BSN Fam!

AuthorJust came to my attention that there were some technical issues on the pod. Unfortunately, we lost a bunch of the Zac Taylor conversation Not sure what happened but I promise it was good lol.
Hopefully, we get to talk about Taylor some more in the near future! lol

LMAO I rewound the podcast at least three times on the way home thinking it was my phone messing things up (and getting extremely frustrated with it) Really wanted to hear all your takes on Zac Taylor too! Oh well… It won’t be long before either it won’t be relevant at all anymore, or you and Zac will be doing an even more detailed pod about our new head coach! Keep on killin’ it guys. 🙂

Same, I downloaded the pod 4 different times on different networks. No dice.

Let the offseason questions begin!
I have an ongoing debate with my friends as to what sport is the most enjoyable to watch. I have theorized that football and baseball set up “the moment” better than any other sports. “The moment” is the 4th and goal from the 6 during the Super Bowl. 7 seconds left, down by 5… a touchdown here makes or breaks the entire season. Set. HUT….. TD!!!!! History is made. Or the batter at the bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, a runner on second. A hit wins the pennant. The pitch… A hit…. it’s going deep…. HOME RUN!!!! History is made…
Where as I would argue baseball and football create the greatest sport moments, I would adversely argue the irregularity of scoring in hockey and the ambiguity of the end of a soccer match make them much less climactic.
So… What sports do you enjoy watching the most and why?

Hey guys first post here and sorry it’s so long. I just joined a couple weeks ago after I looked on the Subscription’s and found the Military Subscription, which from what I have seen you guys are the only ones that do this so thank you.
Being in Oklahoma I had to check out all the Podcasts I could because we don’t get much updates/news on Denver Broncos here. That said you guys are by far the best that I have found. The amount of information and personality you guys bring as well as the detail you give to all of the questions from other fans is awesome. (I haven’t posted prior to this because they basically ask all my questions before I can post them.) Being a Bronco fan here in Oklahoma is a bit rough. I’m surrounded by by Cowboy and Chiefs fans everywhere so there aren’t a whole lot of people to talk to about Bronco stuff so thank you for doing what you do.
Anyways to my point. I completely agree on going all in if Haskins is the guy. The possible upside is way to high to not try(in my opinion). Even when put up against next years draft he is still one of the top Quarterbacks. With the picks and cap space we have now we are in a good position to get him, find talent in important positions from what’s left of our picks, and let Elway do what he (arguably) does best….find undrafted players and free agents.
Important thing is we would have our Quarterback and can fit in the rest of the pieces with picks and cap. If it works then hellz yeah we are set on the right path for years to come. If not then we can say we went all in and tried. We just have to make a decision before the Giants attempt to use their 1,000 picks they have and trade them for a higher spot. Thoughts?
Side note, if they do draft a quarterback hopefully they wont sit him the entire season and not see what he can do on the field…Demarcus Walker…

Hey MillerMagic! Are you at FT. Sill? My apologies if you are. I spent 2 years in Lawton with my FACCC and EW courses. Drove to Dan Antonio almost every weekend since my wife was stationed there at the time. Not much to do in Lawton.
Anyway…. Suggestion. If you have a long comment like this, put a BLUF up front. The guys (Zac and Ryan) appreciate it and it helps move through the comments. Plus it’s funny to hear them pronounce it as ‘bloof’ instead of ‘bluf’.

BadOne Log 19:
How about all those Broncos making it to the final set of the HOF! we are so close to flooding the class this year I am pumped!
So, I am starting to think that Gary Kubiak will be the Asst HC not the OC. Elway is going to send his most trusted General to keep a pulse on day to day coaching and player interactions so the ship can be corrected. And this makes me think Zac Taylor will be the frontrunner since Kubiak could be there to groom him. Klink Kubiak can be the OC and we would bring in a seasoned 3-4 defensive coach. I would be so down for that!
BTW you guys are killing the coverages on twitter and on here Keep It Up

That's what She said
Hey guys! I’m loving your coverage so far! I can’t stop mulling over all the scenerios that are in front of us! This can be such an exciting time, or we can royally screw it up too. Going all in on Haskins makes me nervous with the class in 2020, but if we don’t act now, there are no guarantees that waiting would work out either. It would be so cool if we hired Taylor, an exciting young hire could really reguvinate the team, and like you guys said, if he’s a miss, and then we can always take our chances later. I also think Pagono or Fangio would be solid.
Also, so excited to see our HOF finalists, hopefully these guys make it in!
Thanks again!
