Does a cold snow game in the mile high favor the broncos or are the rams too good to let that affect them? Also have you ever listened to this pod on 1/2 speed? Hilarious

Half speed makes them sound like they’ve been sampling the edibles in town

So VJ’s brilliant plan to fix this team’s woes this week is to replace the 3rd best right tackle in the NFL with Max Garcia? This dumbass crap is why you are 7 and 14 VJ! Pull your head out of your ass VJ!

TLDR: See above.

Alright friends, I kept quiet for awhile but now I’ve got some thoughts on my plate. Most importantly, let’s admit the obvious: even if Keenum improves from his atrocious start, he’s not the franchise QB. Now, realistically, Kelly probably isn’t either, but there’s a chance. There are a few intriguing names at QB in the upcoming draft. There’s also legit stars at DL and OL. It’s time for Kelly to start. If we aren’t truly competing for a title this year, the team needs to know if they need to go after a franchise QB this draft, or if they have one and can add a top talent in the trenches. After that, if Denver goes with Kelly next year, or mistakenly keeps Keenum, it’s a great year for OTs. That said, has anyone considered moving Bolles to LG? McG is 6’4″, 304, Bolles is 6’5″, 300. Very similar. Interior would help him not have to reach for edge rushers beating him around the corner, and his athleticism would be invaluable on pulls. All in all, Broncos fans should celebrate this season, but be looking ahead to the future when we’re properly reloaded.

PS, I’m a Broncos die hard, but born and raised in the depressing lands of Chief’s kingdom. I love the kindsay t shirt, but he’s not a top favorite for me. Any plans in the future of an expanded merch line beyond Phil or just BSN that I, a non native can rep? Give me a Von, CHJ, or even better a McGovern (being from Missouri). Or even better, a beanie, as my work dress code won’t let me wear t-shirts, but I can walk in rocking a Broncos orange BSN hat. Thanks guys!

Is it time to embrace the double-edged sword of variance and activate McKenzie?

Ok, so this team has 2 options to me. Option one (current direction) is to tank this year and see what coaches are available next year and collect some top end draft picks. The other option is to can some coaches and shorten the leash on Keenum and collect some top end draft picks. Either way, I don’t see more than 6 wins for them this year. I feel like this team doesn’t have faith in this coaching staff, calling them out publicly and defeated body language on the field. I think you have to give them some sort of moral boost by mixing up the staff. Playing for them the rest of the year might just ruin some of these players’ confidence. Why is Chubb playing LB not defensive end? They’re going to turn him into Walker. It’s like telling your kid not to touch the stove because it’s hot but they do it anyway but at least the kid is smart enough to not do it again. I hope they turn it around but I feel like I watched this same movie last year and it doesn’t have a happy ending. TL;DR I’m unhappy

I think Andre made a good point in his article. The real problem with the coaching staff is that they are not playing to their strengths. I think that is a main reason they got rid of McCoy last year. So lets run the crap out of the ball, lets get the ball to Sutton either on some 50/50s or on a quick screen. And have our Defense in press and attack mode. It sounds simple but why not try to play to our strengths instead of trying to do too much. Allow Keenum some quick rhythm throws and get him and Bolles both help by doing more play action…after we pound the rock. Is there any reason why this wouldn’t work?

Thanks as always

I’m pretty sure both Peter’s and Talib are out for this game. Do you think Denver will throw more than they should and justify it with that excuse? Good luck running up the middle, but I think they can run on the outside. Just hoping they don’t outsmart themselves.

Hey fellas,

I apologize in advance for the length of this comment.

What I was hoping you guys could discuss is this thought – What skills we should be looking for our coaches:
Position Coach = A great teacher of technique and getting a unit to work together
A Coordinator = A brillant a strategist, someone who excels at finding weakness on the other team and putting our team in the best position to exploit those weaknesses
A Head Coach = A leader who can assemble all of these pieces and find a winning formula, and also course correct during a game when the strategy is not working

Q: I think we have clearly failed at finding good coordinators, just because Joe Woods was a successful position coach (when he had hall of fame talent) does not mean he is a good defensive coordinator. – I think we would be better served finding a person who had less than exceptional talent, but still schemed a way to find success.
