I have a question about our schedule that we have. At the beginning of the year we had the 25th hardest schedule in the league. As of right now we have had the hardest schedule. Per NFL power rankings of this week, we have or will play 7 of the top 10 teams in the NFL. And two of them we play twice (chiefs and chargers) that’s a total of 9 games against the top 10 teams in the NFL. THATS MORE THAN HALF OUR GAMES. My question is are we being to hard on the Broncos win/loss thus far? They have a very difficult schedule this year and I actually have confidence in this team looking forward.

How good would Phillip Lindsay be in Andy Reid’s offence?

I’m guessing they won’t trade anyone before the game on Sunday?
It would make sense that they would wait and see how that game goes first. If they win, you might hold on to those players and revisit trades at the end of the season for next year. If they lose you might see a fire sale in Denver. This is of course just speculation on my part.
I personally hope they find a way to keep DT in Denver. It’s not so much for his production on the field although that is important, it’s for his leadership on the team.

I’m guessing “NOT (Chad) Kelly” is really glad he is Not Chad Kelly.
Burrito Chad
Hahaha… so glad. I wouldn’t last even 1 night in jail.

With the increasing odds of Herbert staying at Oregon for another year, is there a scenario Case Keenum is our starting QB next year? I’d prefer to wait another year to find “the” guy rather than reaching on a weak QB class draft. With Tua & Herbert likely being in the 2020 class, it might make sense riding Case’s last year of his contract before going all in for a QB.

I woke up to the news on Chad Kelly and couldn’t believe my eyes! I really like the guy and hope that details come out to support his innocence. However, if not, that’s a really bad look for himself and the team and I hope it doesn’t serve as a distraction to the team heading into KC. It’s a little bothersome how “happy” he looks in his mugshot
Burrito Chad
Welll… looks like the (Not) Chad (Kelly) joke is coming to a swift end… guess I need a new name soon. Maybe I’ll transform into Burrito Chad since Burrito Brad has revealed his true colors to be Nacho Brad.
With you one last time but forever in your hearts

I highly doubt Kelly is active Sunday. Who’s out there to pick up/who would we actually consider?
Additionally, Klis recently said that neither DT nor Emmanuel are going to be traded do you actually buy into that? My thought is that very few people are actually safe right now.

Actually, Kelly was just cut. Where do you think we go from here?
chriswhipp
Hey fellas. Sorry for the second comment, but there’s a lot on my mind right now regarding Kelly. After reading the full story this morning it’s quite disturbing what occurred. Although I’m not sure I agree with him being cut so swiftly, clearly the Broncos brass had enough information to decide to cut him. This only makes me feel like they never truly truly felt Kelly was the future QB of this team. Thoughts?

There is a silver lining in all of this Chad Kelly news. It means the QB controversy in Denver is officially over! I don’t think anyone in their right minds would be clamoring for a Kevin Hogan start, so we ride Case til the end of the year. Keenum is a captain, it’s appropriate that he would go down with the ship that is this season. Hopefully it gives the Broncos a chance to see who has a future this year and I hope for a competitive game in Kansas City. I just want the Broncos to be watchable at this point.
Well it sucks to see the broncos in the news like this. I’m a big fan of the decision to cut him, though. Can’t have behaviors like that. Now, does the team try to get a veteran backup to keep Keenum on his toes, or do they lay the QB controversy to rest for the season and draft a backup in the offseason?
Keep up the great work and GO BRONCOS!!!
