I just watched the video of Von Miller calling up the recent draftees on the Broncos official website. That call would be the best call of my life. Hearing Von Miller saying he was excited to have me on his squad! I love Von. He is so down-to-earth and a really good dude. I hope he stays a Bronco for life!

Also, the reason the Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers transition worked was A) the packers were still playoff contenders with Favre and B) Favre was an Iron Man. He never wanted to miss a start. Flacco needs to have that mentality if he wants to keep his starting gig.

I was thinking of Langley’s switch to WR. I’m considering him as a rookie wide out this year. Raw talent and measurable‘s with limited route tree and no exposure to an NFL offensive play book.
One of the biggest adjustments rookie wideouts have, is being able to read defenses and make the right read so they run the right route. Langley’s time as a DB should give him an advantage. If he can pick up the play book we just might have something. This is my latest optimistic thought, what do you think?

Hey Fellas,
Yes, my mother named me Vinny from Jersey. If I had a nickel for every time someone came up to me and said, “Vinny from Jersey!!” with an Italian and/or Jersey accent I’d have enough money to buy the Broncos and put an end to the ownership dispute.
Anyway, do you guys think Lindsay will get more or less carries this year compared to last. I might be wrong but i think San Fran ran the most 2 back sets last year which could mean more carries for Royce. Asking for my fantasy football team
Thanks guys

Hello again guys, I am about 2 hours Southwest of Chicago in Illinois. It is a small town called Ladd. If you guys are ever in the Central Illinois area go to Rip’s Chicken. By far the best fried chicken I have ever had. My Senior year of high school I ate it everyday. Good thing I ran cross country and track.
Anyway, who do we project will be our returners this year? Honestly I believe the only holes in the team now is Punter, Returner, and ILB. People will argue safety but my dude Will Parks is the real deal! He shows that heart that we constantly talk about our guys needing.
I was born in 1998 so I have been alive for 2 Super Bowl wins so I am curious, when was the last time the Broncos drafted a QB that was a complete success for them? I can’t think of one at all in my life time. The history behind it scares me for Lock. But like I said last time I am becoming more optimistic about Lock.
Thanks again guys for the hard work. Ramen is amazing, Team Hot Pockets are delicious, I honestly can be swayed either way for the straw argument. Sorry again for another long comment. Have been listening since February so I have a lot of things to catch up on. Go Broncos!!
Nacho Brad
Sorry if the point has already been made and I missed it… but… Drew Lock could be something that Elway and Manning never could – a Broncos-drafted Super Bowl Winning Quarterback. Man, that has a nice ring to it. So much for my Flacco jersey. Damnit.

Hey dudes,
I have to echo a few of the sentiments spoken by Buckin Bronco… Nashville was a mad house. It was like New York on new years in time square with the aura of bourbon street. Absolute madness. It was also one of the greatest parties I have ever been to… and that was mostly because Buckin Bronco is, in fact, one of the absolute funnest people to be around I have ever met. We kicked it off right away, and it just got more and more wild as the night went on. (Thanks BB and Syd. Meeting you was the highlight of the weekend, and that’s saying something!)
I’ll end with this… not with a question, but simply with a huge thank you to BSN for the work you do, for the community you encourage, and for connecting me to someone I now consider a lifetime friend.
Cheers and blessings.

Hi guys, hope the day is going well. I am really excited for Sutton & Hamilton combo this year. How do you guys compare them to DT & Decker combo. I remember DT was banged up his rookie year like Hamilton has been. But DT was fine the next year. Who have been some of the best WR Tandems in Broncos history in your opinion?
I’VE GOT GOOD NEWS!! When Von Miller called Drew Lock and Dalton Risner on draft day, it took them a minimum of 3 calls to pick up or call him back. Garrett Boles answered his on the first call when he was drafted. We dodged a bullet!
Also, let’s discuss the video of Drew Lock that Barstool Mizzou posted for just a second. Without even playing a single NFL snap yet, it makes him an automatic 1st-Ballot Hall of Famer, right? Pretty sure that’s how it works. In all seriousness, I value humor and people just being themselves pretty highly. I really, really like Drew’s personality so far, and if his talent pans out as we all believe it can, I think he’ll not only make a great QB for the Broncos, but a fun, passionate face of the franchise. And yes, we’re already on a first name basis. Keep up the good work fellas!

RK, start with pressing 0,5kilogrsm of pig blood through a sieve. Whisk up the blood with beer, milk or broth and rye flour. Add seasoning. Put it in the oven for 60-90 minutes and you get blood puddin. Served with bacon and mashed lingonberries. One of the classic Swedish dishes.
Guess it dates back to Sweden being a poor farming community until after the 2nd WW. Got blood puddin on the school menu from 0th-9th grade so possibly it’s still served
Cooked blood cubes sounded undelicious, atleast we put seasoning on our blood here.

I get the feeling that Lock is going to be similar to Rivers. You hate that guy unless he is on your team! Awesome coverage this offseason!

Just watched the Von calling Dalton and Drew video. Might be faked since Von knows he’s filmed but damn, he seems so genuine and generous. And most of all he seems to be as hyped about this draft as the fans, sounds like he want Drew to be the QB and that he thinks Dalton is godlike. Love it!

If Drew is starting week 8, It’s going to be so much fun saying, “Andrew Luck and Drew Lock.”

Hey guys, I have been so Locked in on our draft picks (pun intended) I haven’t really consider any potential diamonds in the rough in our UDFA signings. We have obviously found incredible value there in past so I am always excited to see someone emerge out of nowhere to male the team. So my question is, who of the UDFAs should we be watching in camp? Any far too early predictions on players that could make the 53?
Samuelbissu
Hey guys 3 things
1 I think the draft was geat but i think the best move this offseason is the coaching staff, i think we can finally develope players and not just hope they will be good.
2 I was totally wrong about Vic being the smoke screen master, this guy just doesnt have any time for bull
3 the broncos need to retire #72 for good, i still have nigthmares of Donald Stephenson letting our qbs get killed
Your coverage of the draft was the best and thanks to Andre and AJ i was very excited the moment the broncos drafted jones because without them i would have never know who he was. Keep up the tremendous job!
Samuelbissu
Ps qb scoreboard this training camp?

Okay…….I have to put this out. There is a REALLY good chance I am going to be moving to Dublin, Ireland near the end of the year (September time frame). If this happens then I HAVE to find a way to watch the games. I of course will keep up with information with my BSN subscription but I need an insider to help me with how to watch the games and meet up with other Broncos fans. I of course will get into the GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) but I will always bleed orange and blue and need my Broncos fix!
I am reaching out to any and all BSN army in Ireland that may be able to help me out! This move is all but guaranteed so I need to start my Broncos in Ireland research now!
Thank you in advance!

Hey Spacebar – I emailed this to you but then I figured it might help others so I’ll post here as well: (both options are completely up and up. There are other methods as well (cough cough reddit) but they aren’t as reliable)
Two options:
If you have a .edu email account (or if you know someone who does), you can get NFL Sunday Ticket for something like $99 for the season. Being in Arizona, that’s how I watch the Broncos.
Also, if you know anyone in Colorado, buy them a Slingbox. I can’t remember how much they are, $200 maybe? but it streams their local TV so you can watch anything they can. Once you buy the equipment there is no monthly fee or anything, you just need an internet connection.
Hope this helps!
Spacebar
Brad! Long time no chat!!!
Thanks for the info. My wife might be getting an .edu email in Ireland so that may be the route to go as well.
I also own a KODI box and will probably try using this again. It is how I have been trying to watch the games the last 5 years since I lived around the country. Sounds like a slingbox, but I get to control the equipment.
Thanks again!

Hey guys!
Incredible weekend with a lot to be excited about. I wasn’t in love with Lock at 10 but would’ve been very OK with taking him at 20. We ended up getting an absolute STEAL with him and Risner at 41 and 42. The only question I have about him is how his game translates to the NFL. We just watched several years of the Broncos trying to force Paxton Lynch to be under center and learn a style of offense that he’s never played in before. We all know Lock has the physical tools, the mental toughness, the leadership, and the chip on his shoulder attitude, but how easily can he jump into the offense that Scangs wants to run? Is he going to have to learn how to take 70% or more of his snaps from under center, or are the Broncos finally going to create an offense that the quarterback is the most effective in?
I’m also super excited for the Donkeys to play in Houston this year! Can’t wait to get a little revenge on all the trash talking I had to endure last year.
As always, thanks and gig ’em!

Hey fellas,
Just a quick comment about a rival. We commented on about how the chiefs put character aside when evaluating talent. Well Jamal Charles just called it a career and even though he was a pain in our ass, he showed great character on and off the field and wish him the best post NFL career.

On a sidenote, will BSN run any nfl fantasy leagues?
Spacebar
We ran one last year and am pretty sure Nacho Brad will be running another

Hey guys, long time listener and first time commenter. This was my first season following you guys and I have to say that you guys did not disappoint, I live in Okinawa, Japan and it can be difficult to keep up with my beloved Broncos, but with your content I’ve been better informed this year than any before! If you ever feel the urge to travel the world you need to make a stop in Japan and try all the amazing food here! Anything from McDonalds to the mom and pop hole-in-the-wall ramen shops, everything here is exquisite and will leave you not only satisfied but also make you realize just how tasteless a lot of food in America can be! Anyways on to football, I have to say I was a little tearful when Devin White went to the Buccaneers, Though it wasn’t a surprise, when we got Fant all I could think was, oh no not another blown draft class, like the ones that we have experienced in the past, with exception of the 2018 class with all the potential studs like Chubb, Sutton and everyone’s favorite Phil Lindsay. But when day two came around I was jumping through the roof with excitement when we got not only the much needed help on the offensive line but also a top tier quarterback prospect as well! What I’m wondering is what Jersey numbers do you think this years class is going to be waring? I know Wadman has 3 but and Taylor last year “had” 87 but just curious on your thoughts, thank you for the awesome content and keep up the amazing work!

Sup guys!
Todd McShay’s “Way Too Early 1st Round Projections” came out and on the preview of it (can’t view the whole thing because I don’t have ESPN+ — BSN only sports subscription I will purchase), McShay has Denver drafting Grant Delphit, Safety out of LSU…
…AT PICK #3!!!!!!! (Miami #1 – Tua and Arizona #2 – Jeudy WR from Bama) Is McShay an absolute moron or he is just predicting an absolute doomsday scenario for Denver where absolutely nothing goes right?? I just don’t get his logic here. If Denver regresses that badly, which I don’t see how we could based off the last two drafts, how oculd we pick a Safety at #3 when we would CLEARLY have to have more pressing needs. Just curious on your guys’ take on this one as it seems like absolute lunacy to me.
Btw, debating on buying a Risner jersey or a Lock jersey. The correct answer is probably just to get both right? Hard to pick between the awesome hometown kid storyline (which would also be my first OL jersey ever) and our potential QB for the next 25 years based on how long these QBs can play nowadays.
Cheers and Go Broncos!

Hey boys. The Broncos seem to have crushed the draft and you guys crushed the coverage. In regards to calling the Broncos “the Donkeys”: My Denver fandom comes from my grandpa working on the Broncos medical staff during the AFL years and my dad growing up in Denver. They’ve both always called the Broncos the Donkeys and I love it. Seems to be a weird long standing tradition. Keep up the 2 hour pods with whatever you guys wanna talk about!
Litvakski
I know it’s not exactly the same but was watching draft day and I feel like Denver had a little bit of magic just like the movie with this year’s draft. We end up with 3 first round talents with our first three picks, what do yall think? Also do you feel that MLB is our biggest weakness right now? Or is that another position?
rich_dude
I get that lock is great with media and teammates and I am glad we got him in the 2nd, but I don’t understand the hype. I have watched a ton of his games and not once does he step up in the pocket. My fear is that he is eaten alive by outside rushers the same way Paxton was. I’m hoping for the best, but I don’t see what everyone else does. Go broncos
OoO Benny Lava
Hey guys, quick question about your approach to covering mini camps and training camp. Do you think that you will have a more critical eye this year in terms of how the QB is performing??? After last year and listening to you guys gush about how amazing Keenum was performing, I was expecting a top 10 finish for the offense at the very least. I don’t think that you guys lied to us about Keenums performance, I think that he lied to you guys with what he was doing. Is that more of just a situation where the defense is at a disadvantage so the offense looks better than it really is?? Or was our defense just not that good last year and that was the first sign??
Thanks muh dudes

Awesome pod fellas. This Drew Lock momentum is getting out of control. I remember when Paxton got drafted and was never really excited about it. Especially this kind of excited like I am with Lock. I just remember watching the clip of Paxton doing the Gruden QB Camp and sitting down to watch film with Jon Gruden and saying “Oh? I didn’t even know we had film!” Like WTF man?! Lol how do you not know that? He just seemed like such an air head that was never really invested into being a franchise QB.
My question is, now that he’s gone, can we talk about why the Paxton Lynch experiment never worked? Like are the rumors of him spending all his free time playing xbox and not knowing the playbooks? Was he just not a hard worker? I just want to know the inside scoop of what you guys heard about him and why he struggled so much to beat out freaking Mark Sanchez and 7th rounder Trevor Siemien.
Anyway………….DDDDDDRRRRRREEEEEWWWWWWWWW!!!! All aboard the Lock train. Keep up the great work fellas
Loooooca
Hey guys,
this comment section is incredible in comparison to last years offseason, so much fun to listen to all the different takes and questions.
However I cba to read all 31 comments so far, so I hope this one hasn’t been asked already…
How do you guys want Drew Lock to approach his backup role? More like the humble rookie or like the aggressive future franchise quarterback? What are the pros and cons for each scenario considering his relationship with Joe Flacco?
Keep it up!
