Hey guys,
I’ve been hearing over the last couple days that the Jets have decided on Baker Mayfield for the #3 pick; Seeing as the Broncos had Mayfield in for a visit on Tuesday, does it seem possible that Denver could trade up to #2 with the Giants if they truly think Baker is the guy after his visit? How likely would Elway and Kubiak be to pony up and give the Giants what they want to move ahead of the Jets?

RK that was a cool story about the Avs game, it sounded awesome, but the question I have and probably the most important thing is, did you hug a stranger???

This, too, was on my mind. I hugged a LOT of strangers when the broncos won Super Bowl 50 and that feeling of victory and fandom is unlike any other.

3 First round picks?

I know the general consensus is that trading back is a bad idea but after the last pod I had this thought:

We trade back with the Bills and get their 2 first round picks plus more.

Use some of our draft capital to get back in the end of the first and now have 3 first rounders.

In this scenario what would be the best choice of players to pick?

ILB, Guard, RB?

Cheers
Jack

Talking about selling yourself on some of these draft picks, I saw Josh Allen going to Denver which is a hard sell for me. What are your thoughts? I can make a sell for the other three QBs, Chubb, Barkley, Nelson, Ward and even some other players. I just think Allen is another Paxton project.

Thanks again Aaron

Thanks for the well wishes guys. Everyone is doing great.

Just as the both of you, I am also changing my mind throughout the off season as to who the Broncos should pick. As of now, I am off the Barkley train. I definitely think the Broncos should be going for a QB or Chubb. I still think Nelson would be great, but not at the 5th pick. I do believe the Broncos should probably look at trading up from 40 though in order to get Nelson (more than likely not), Hernandez, or Wynn at the top of the 1st round. Even with the build-up of the O-line in the last 2 years, I think getting a solid starting guard in this draft would do wonders for a 5-11 team.

I have seen some crazy mock drafts out in the world wide web and there was one where the Broncos were able to trade down with the bills for 12 and 22 and then trade up with (insert name) for 9 giving the Broncos 6 picks within the top 100 after everything was said and done. What do you think?

So I heard this game on Colin Cowherd Show that I thought it might be fun if you guys play on the Pod. It’s called the High Low End Comparisions. With the top QB prospects in the draft, what do you think their high is as a player and low is as a player. Example: Baker Mayfield: high: Case Keenum Low:Johny Manziel.

His comparisons I don’t necessarily agree with, so I wanted to see what you guys thought. You might want to listen to it. It’s only 6 min long.

Hey guys!

So it seems like Ryan and Zac are going to break their promise of watching Draft Day before the draft just like RK broke his promise of making it to home in time for the Monday pod.

If the hype of a quarterback was a smokescreen to get a team to jump to 4 to draft one, so that Denver could get Barkley, did releasing Anderson just ruin that? It feels like the broncos are now both QB (somewhat) and RB needy. Thoughts?
