They have a ‘world famous’ dirt race track which hosts a sprint car racing series called The World of Outlaws and the series is pretty regularly called ‘The Greatest Show On Dirt’. Have to get in on all this Iowa talk. Bummed this is a new revelation, I just graduated from Drake on sunday and moved back to Denever yesterday. It would have been awesome to have some BSN people to watch the games with over the past few years. Hot takes for Des Moines peeps: Zombie Burger and Fongs are kinda trash. Fongs is only good for Novelty pizza like crab rangoon, but any real pizza like pepperoni there is not great.

Actual Broncos question: PFF recently sparked a Twitter debate. They basically found that strong pass coverage leads to more wins than a strong pass rush. With this is mind, is this why the Broncos keep using draft picks on secondary players, and heavily investing there in free agency? And if that is the case, can they really afford to let CHJ walk out the door?

On to the Broncos. Why does Von Miller take it easy in practice? I’ve heard he blows up plays in practice, but isn’t that an opportunity for the offensive line to adjust and get better? They may not face off against Von in a game, but they’ll see other game breaking pass rushers like Khalil Mack this season. Chris Harris and DT both got better playing against each other every day. Why doesn’t the same logic apply to Von and the offensive line?

How long do you think the Broncos will keep up the farce that Hogan is the number two QB? Do you think they’ll keep it this way all the way though OTAs and minicamp and then make the switch to Lock early in training camp? I can understand that they want to make Lock earn his spot in the pecking order, but it seems like such a waste of time to keep giving second team reps to a guy who no one believes is going to be on the team in the fall.

I am so happy for Champ! He had always been my favorite Bronco of all time. I still have my Ol white 24 jersey, which was the first Broncos Jersey I ever owned! What was the first NFL and Broncos Jersey you ever owned? I remember when the trade happened, I was in such shock teen. I will always remember his playoff pick against Brady! Prime vs prime! Are you guys dog people? Now to joe Flacco, I like the fact that he is going to he is going to have a top tier defense. A good run game and quick passing decisions sounds like a playoff caliber team to me. Just look at the Seahawks, I know you can’t compare Flacco’s physical traits to Wilson’s but you compare the mental side and experience they have learned from. Hey fellas! Thanks for the great coverage this off-season. In the past 4 months I have learned more about the off-season and the nuances of the NFL and team dynamics than I have in all my prior years. To be fair, I usually just checked out after the SB but you guys did keep me engaged so kudos to you!

Are there any updates on #30? Is his wrist healing according to plan? Also, assuming Sanders is at 100% (or close to it), what do you guys think the receiver squad will be, from 1 – 5. How is Hamilton looking? For some unknown reason, last year I had this persistent feeling that he was going to blow up. It was just a gut feeling but ever week I kept saying to myself, “This is the week!”. That never materialized so I’m curious what your take on him is.

Lastly, unless someone else mentioned it prior to me listening to you guys, I think I was the first to request tall sizes in BSN merch (weird flex, bro). I’m not that tall, really, only 6’5″ but maybe I just have a long torso…picture slender man. I have played all the tall guy games of trying XXL and whatnot but then I just look like I am wearing a tent since I am a slim fit guy. Anyhow, I hope there is enough demand at some point to justify the inventory because I would buy every flavor Broncos and Nuggets shirts you have. No Rockies, however, because baseball isn’t really even a sport… jk lolz. Take care boys!!!

First off to clear the air on yesterday’s ‘You Guys Rule’ fiasco I added that into my comment because when I went to post it the first time I was given a prompt saying that I had already posted the comment. So I added that at the end so it would go through, but then I noticed the original comment made it on there. Regardless you guys deserve all the compliments you can get!

I’ve been on a juice cleanse for the past three days and I just made the mistake of looking at the menu for Zombie Burger. Man do some of those burgers look sinful! I never knew what I was missing in Iowa.

Thanks for going into some depth about CHJ’s injury status. Like others said in the comments in the last episode I think that by giving him a one year deal now and next year letting Chris test the market is the best for the Broncos. I like what Ryan had to say a few episodes back about paying players for what they’re going to do not what they’ve done, and I think the Broncos are thinking the same.

My “question” today is more of an asking for your guy’s opinions. I have been reading about the HBO Hard Knocks TV show and the teams they are picking for future seasons. What do you think of the series and would it be a good or bad thing if the Broncos were chosen for a season? From what I’ve seen the producers focus on drama/negative things going on with the team as they believe it’s the most attention-grabbing for viewers. For me I’d love to see the Broncos on the show but after learning more about it I don’t thing so.

This is just an observation but I think one of the biggest smokescreens John has put out this draft season was that he was in love w Hubert. I think John knows he fits the mold of what he usually likes however John went out of his way mentioning him by first name basis to almost downplay this current drafts talent, I believe he liked Lock all along.
