Went out to Specs in Round Rock on Saturday and got me a 6 pack for Saturdays glorious high school scrimmage between the Broncos and rams. Ryan, first of all, I’m a simple drinker, I enjoy a Pacifico or Victoria after mowing the lawn in this Texas heat or while I’m smoking a brisket or ribs, but after trying the Strawberry Sky, it grew on me and one can suddenly became 2 cans and gotta say, pretty damn good cerveza. I’m saving the others for next weekend for my 12-14 hour brisket cook.
I also wanted to clarify a comment I made because Iceman aka Creepy Orange, asked who Kermit the Frog was in kc. Kermit would be Mahomes (his voice is reminiscent of Mr. K. Frog) and Andy is the Kool-Aid man.
Now, for my Broncos related question, last week you guys kinda teased that with Cravens being out with an illness, that there might be more to that story, so it made me think that y’all knew something that would lead to some sort of breaking news. Did I just misunderstand what was being said or do y’all see his time with Denver coming to a close. Thanks boys and Go Broncos!

This is just speculation and I’m commenting early in the pod so maybe y’all talk about this, but these cuts shocked me. I saw that they freed up 4 million in cap space, just a couple days after the dolphins put Kenny stills and kiko Alonso on the trade block. Could these moves be in an attempt to snag Alonso to bulster MLB or get stills as a stretch the field receiver? Just speculation

Not to overreact to pre-season but has your perditions for Broncos record changed at all?

I’m sticking to my 8-8 but now I think 7-9 more likely than 9-7. Prior to preseason I thought 9-7 more likely than 7-9.

Just wanted to give Ryan a shout out because Aric DiLalla said that he was giving him a hard time about how infrequent “The Neutral Zone” is. I couldn’t stop laughing about the Bradley Chubb level of trash talking Ryan is dishing out. Damn good trash talk.

It’s refreshing it is to have a Head Coach that speaks honestly. Here’s my question: Will that type of tell-it-like-it-is honesty be refreshing for the players if this season gets choppy? Or will players come to resent it if the team is struggling? Can it be more harm than good at certain times? I’m sure he knows how to be diplomatic. I just think it’s possible that he probably hates to have to use that approach.

Yo dudes I just started reading the book IT, and it’s pretty crazy, but I was wondering, in that light, what would be your guys personal nightmare scenario for this season, whether it be hogan starting all games, or mile high not allowing iced coffee now, or the raiders going 16-0, or? Hah btw my favorite part at the watch party was when zac ordered the fish and chips hah

Hopefully im making this before y’all start the podcast. I know im always the guy that says “we should sign/trade for player x” but what about Malcolm Smith who just got cut from the 49ers? His play may have dropped off a bit but he HAS to be an upgrade in our linebacking corps. Also I think it would be kind of funny to have Flacco and Smith on the Broncos after they both got SB MVP the same year they broke our hearts. Smith with the pick six against the Broncos and obviously Flaccos crazy OT Throw.
