As far as Mexican fast food el pollo loco is the king. I’m out.

Hey guys, James here. From Iowa, live in Boston. It breaks my heart that you, like I, have to settle for such trifling comparisons as Qdoba vs Chipotle. In the Midwest, starting next to UIowa campus, comes the real Mexican food GOAT: Panchero’s. Their tortillas are balls of dough they press into tortillas when you order, and they have the perfect dougheyness after. They taste just like my family’s homemade tortillas. Then they fill them with top notch ingredients, and mix them together with a tool they call ‘bob’ instead of handing you a bag of layered ingredients. Having no Ponchero’s in Boston is probably the worst part of living here, after the Pats fans.
Oh, uh… I guess it’s cool we ‘clearly upgraded’ to Flacco. But while going from a Ford Fiesta to a Mustang is definitely an upgrade, it still ain’t winning you Indy. Hoping for Murray, but okay with Lock or Haskins.
Keep up the good work. Best part of my commute!

(Btw obviously talking about burritos. Tacos are generally a waste of money as outside of Taco Bell they’re the price of a burrito for 1/3rd the food, and quesadillas are fine but miss most of the goodies.)

Have you guys looked into AB’s stats WITHOUT Ben Roethlisberger? They are significantly worse. I don’t think the investment in money and draft capital is worth it for a team that isn’t realistically competing for a championship.

Now that we have Flacco, a guy that can make plays in the middle of the field, Emmanuel won’t be able to play slot and that’s sad.

He’s getting old and the hits are harder on slot guys. It’s possible that he won’t be as quick as he used to be.

A set with Sutton and Patrick as wideouts and the old E as slot would be nice. Am I wrong about his ability to play slot from now on?

Regards from Brazil.

What are your thoughts on Le’Veon Bell coming to the Broncos? Booker would have to go and the question is then, do you keep Freeman? Lindsay is a must have right now. Hopefully his injury doesn’t come back to haunt him. Lindsay is a jewel. Having Bell in the backfield is a major threat. Not only does he have the talent of running and catching, but with not playing last year he has a fresh body! No injuries to recover from and he is just getting into his prime years! The cost would be high, but I believe the results would make it worth it.

Bell and A.B.??????

GO BRONCOS!!!

Day late dollar short here. No way do I want AB. Yes he is talented. No way does he have a professional attitude. Who else has thrown a tantrum in the public eye about his team when paid like that and called out coaches and the qb. If he came here he would be upset and a GIANT issue the moment he had a bad game it would be everybody else at fault and we would have a Pittsburgh problem all over again. If we lose Sanders Id take any other player but AB. I hope we do what it takes to get Lock and shore up the Line on both sides.

Hey fellas! Love the pod, been a subscriber and listener for about a year and half now and I find myself refreshing the podcast app everyday just waiting for BSN Broncos to pop up!
Anyway I don’t have much to say on the food front besides Goodtimes is GOAT and their Wild sauce is just plain addicting. As far as the broncos, I have a couple of questions.

You guys mentioned how the Cardinals organization would never come out and say that they were thinking about drafting another QB at 1 as to not create any conflict with Josh Rosen. Could this logic be applied to John Elway and Case Keenum? John Elway called Case “a temporary fix” so maybe John Elway realized that that could create locker room conflict so he just went out and replaced him with Flacco. Could the Flacco trade have also been a reactionary move to relieve locker room tension?

My next question would be about QB’s and what the Broncos could be looking for in the draft. I read an article that said that Scangarello wanted Flacco because he fit his (under center?) scheme best. I know that Haskins fits the build of Flacco but he worked mostly in shotgun at Ohio State. Are there any other QB’s in the draft that fit Scangarello’s scheme that Broncos would look at? Is this something they would prioritize in a QB’s skill set? Also please say Kyler Murray because Ryan’s article has made me fall in love with him. Thanks for the great pods!

February 21, 2019

I’m not as high on AB as Ryan seems to be, but I expect nothing less from a guy who doesn’t appreciate In-N-Out and OVER values Chipotle. Sanders is a known Denver commodity, and can coexist in the locker room with his teammates. Can we say that with AB? As good as his aging production would be, is it worth a potential locker room issue?
Additionally, I cannot wait for free agency news to start hitting the twitter feed. I really hope Elway and Fangio are able to bring in a steady corner and proven linebacker. I’d hate to see the Broncos going into the draft with too many legitimate NEEDS. Elway has had success filing some of those needs in free agency. Lets hope his 2019 free agency haul is as productive as the 2014 class was.

How is Courtland Sutton going to take a step forward when all he does is play fortnite every day? Jesus Christ.

Just kidding. As long as he’s ready to go week 1 I hardly care how he spends his offseason. So he better be ready!

I don’t know how often you two make it out to California. But if you haven’t been to Roscoes House of Chicken and Waffles in LA, it’s a must try. I was skeptical about the chicken/waffles combination but I still had to try it and man I was not disappointed! So good!

Hey dudes been a minute since I commented but I was wondering how you feel about the NFL going to a draft lottery like the NHL to try to make teams not tank? Also I gotta resubscribe soon and was wondering what the word with the contest? Have a great week everyone and stay warm!

(D-A-BRONCO-MAN not DA-BRONCO-MAN)

Hi guys. I have been a life long Broncos fan and started listening to your podcast a few years ago. I decided to subscribe last season, and it was the best decision ever; I even have a few shirts! I have always sat back and not commented due to the great community here, and the great questions/comments that are shared. Awesome community! Finally, I am commenting because I wanted to give you guys a shout out. There are a lot of “other” podcasts out there, but none match the level of quality knowledge, entertainment value, and the natural flow that RK and Zac have. Keep up the good work guys, truly appreciate all the hard work you do!

1. In-N-Out is overrated. Five Guys is too expensive. Chipotle is the business, just shocked how Zac can make 3 meals out of it!
2. Don’t drink tap water from Southern California! EVER!
3. RK – Shout out for the information on John Brown’s sickle cell trait that will keep him away from Denver. Before hearing this, I was thinking he would be a great fit: not a top dollar contract, and he had great numbers with Flacco last season. His numbers slipped once Lamar stepped in. SO many other football writers are still listing him as a top option SMH.
4. Trent Brown scares me as an overpay candidate. He was 68 out of 80 on PFF during the regular season, though he shined in the playoffs. All in if the contract is right.
5. What do you guys think of signing Kwon Alexander (on a prove it deal because of injury) and drafting Devin White in the middle of the Fangio defense? Josey as a back-up, T. Davis as a trade candidate?
6. Nick Mullens as a QB2? Is there any chance that we can trade for this Scangarello favorite? 4th/5th round pick?

Sorry for the long post!

Wow…. after listening to my attempt to be funny about Emmanuel Sanders changing his name on yesterday’s podcast, I realize that I REALLY fell short as it was simply weird, non-comical and an incredibly weird flex! ?? I apologize. I promise I will be better in the future… with that being said, I hope your clicks and downloads are going well! ??

Also, thanks for ameverything you guys do. When you guys were laughing and joking about “booming” people, I was literally doing my job and laughing out loud…. I walk in peoples’ yards all day locating water lines so I probably looked ridiculous laughing at absolutely nothing. Thanks for that.

Just signed up last Friday. Great work u all do on here.
No in and out, or good times up here in Washington state so haven’t tried either of them. We do have a Dicks drive in. ( http://www.ddir.com ). If u ever come up in the Seattle area you have to try it. Best fries and best burger for a fast food restaurant.
Getting back to football…
I don’t like the idea of trading for a diva (A.B.) . I think we roll with Sanders for one year (see how his production is). Look for a quick/speedy receiver that can stretch the defense in the draft. My question is do you think there is one in the draft that Denver can get without having to reach?

Sorry, wasn’t trying to get you in trouble. I was referencing Mr. Big Chest’s use of the hashtag #Booming that you both discussed on the previous pod (Ryan: He’s boomin’, you know, like business is boomin’) because after the pod I was curious and googled it (you don’t have to give Google a free shoutout if they don’t advertise with BSN) and I wondered if that non-video game related definition, kindly read by Zac, could explain his recent behavior and mania. From the outside looking in, Mr. Big Chest has changed a lot recently and as we know from this podcast, your diet has a lot of impact on how you feel.

It’s just a very odd hashtag to pair with very erratic behavior.

That’s the kind of crowdsourced investigative journalism that the BSN Broncos network inspires.

What’s up guys.

B.L.U.F.: Elway has yet again proven himself to be an outstanding GM for the Denver Broncos.

First off, as far as the water debate goes, I have to second the comment by TrueChampFan24. I also live in the Coeur d’Alene region and we are blessed with one of the most productive aquifers in the country, the Spokane Valley-Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer. Fantastic water out of the tap up here that may pose some strong competition in the Pepsi challenge of tap waters.

Back to football. Enough with the Elway hating! The Bronco coverage over the two weeks has proven Elway’s genius. Before the Flacco trade, EVERYONE thought they had the Bronco’s draft pick figured out. Simply put, Elway was playing a poker game with his cards facing out. Immediately following the Flacco trade, the mock drafts and the media’s Bronco talk started to shift. Suddenly, the Bronco’s potential draft pick and the direction of the team is a mystery. Nobody has a clue what they will do come draft day. Elway is once again playing poker with a fresh deck of cards and some very dark sunglasses. Now, he again has power on draft day and is far less likely to get fleeced by other teams when trying to navigate up or down on the draft board. Trading that 4th round pick not only upgraded the QB position (slightly), but it also potentially prevented the Broncos from overspending to move up later in the draft. Loosing the 4th round pick may have actually saved them a draft pick or two in the future!

Time will tell how all this pans out, but one thing cannot be ignored here. John Elway is a fantastic GM and we are damn lucky to have him! #InElwayWeTrust

Much Love to the BSN Fam!

For the last few years I’ve gotten a kick out of re-writing the Lord’s Prayer for Broncos fans and I thought this community would appreciate this year’s rendition. In Elway we trust.

Our GM who art in Denver,
Elway be thy name,
Your QB come,
A franchise one,
In Denver as it is in New England.
Give us this year NOT 6-10,
Forgive us of our $wag as we have forgiven your Flacco.
Lead us not into mediocrity,
But deliver us a Lombardy.
For yours is the Manning,
And the Miller,
And the No fly,
Forever and ever,
Amen.

http://bleacherreport.com/post/golden-state-warriors/d55d8e29-7e49-413b-960c-be28fc6fec01

Hey guys,

I had to send you this clip of the Warriors weighing in on this conversation!

When I was a teenager in Denver in the 70s there was a place on Colorado Boulevard called Yoshinoya beef bowl. This place was the bomb! They served one thing and one thing only, this Japanese style thinly slice beef with rice and onions with A marinade and seasoning that was fantastic. And, if they did not serve you within a minute of you sitting down, it was free! (At least that’s what my memory tells me.) Does anyone else remember this place?

On to football. Watching Philip Lindsay earlier this year was like watching Bryce love at Stanford the year before last: you were just waiting for the moment when he gets just a little bit of space, and then he’s gone! Nothing like it. I keep fantasizing about pairing that with Kyler Murray, two guys with elusiveness and blazing speed. I know it’s counter to Elway’s football instincts. But I also keep thinking that if he imagines either the Raiders or the Patriots getting Murray, that can’t be a pleasant thought, and that’s why you get him yourself – – right!?!?

You guys make my commute much more pleasant. Thank you and keep it up!
