Hey BSN nation! On an optimistic note, of the final four games the least important game was versus SF because they are not in the AFC and the final spot could come down to conference record. Anyways, I recently relocated to Denver and will be going to my first game on Saturday, any recommendations for nearby bars or is tailgating the way to go? Thanks! Keep up the good work!

Great to hear you guys give my hometown some love.
I was born and have lived in Chicago for most of my life.
I also lived in Oakland California during my teenage years.
I must say that Oakland is such an underrated city. Such great energy and enthusiasm, truly believe that Oakland is one of a kind.

As for Chicago, I don’t believe I have to say anything.

GO BRONCOS!!!!!

FORGET THE BEARS ??
FORGET THE RAIDERS ??????????????

BSN Podmasters (why didn’t that ever catch on?)
With hindsight being what it is, let’s play hypotheticals:
1: DT doesn’t get traded
2: Baker makes it to 5 and Denver drafts him
3: McVay is the head coach
Where do the Broncos stand and how does the rest of the league shake out?

Just for fun. Thanks guys!

P.s. I think I speak for the rest of the lifetime community when I say it’d be a pleasure to have SPACEBAR in our company.

GO BRONCOS!!!

Hi Guys, new subscriber from Sydney Australia. Heading to Colorado in January for some skiing and hoping that the Broncos are still playing January football. My son and I are going to see our first NFL game in Los Angeles when the Rams take on the 49ers in the last week of the regular season. We watched the opening round of the NCAA in Sydney last year when Rice played Stanford but cannot wait to see an NFL match live. The Australian Rugby team known as the Wallabies is in disarray and has had three coaches since 2013 and will probably be 4 soon. It has shown that coaching staff alone cannot make a great team. If VJ does not start in 2019 as head coach, there is every chance that instability and change will impact the Broncos for another season, just like the Wallabies. Are the odds of a new coach bringing bringing success outweighed by the risk of starting from scratch with coaching. Go Broncos.

Since you guys haven’t heard Big Al’s fired up Friday, I implore you guys to listen to their hour 3 podcast from last Friday or tune in this Friday to hear it. It really gets you pumped up and excited for the game.
How many sacks do you guys see Myles Garrett getting against this once great offensive line? (/s) Over/under 1.5?
Denver is a different team at home but that team from Cleveland is hungry and FULL of talent. If they get a decent coach in there, they are winning the AFC North next year, hands down.
Bad teams always seem to play the Broncos hard and I think that’s because of the prestige the orange and blue possess in this league. It seems like every bad team makes their game against Denver their Super Bowl.
This off season the Broncos have to do whatever it takes to get their top QB in the draft. I would rather watch a rookie take chances next year than sit there every week watching Case throw for an average of 2 air yards per completion (not a real stat, but I can’t be far off)
My final thought for the day is that the Broncos have been prepping for games 2 weeks in advance when playing bad teams instead of preparing for the week ahead. They played ugly against the Ravens, next opponent Chiefs. They played ugly against the Jets, next opponent Rams. Maybe the game plan for the second Chiefs game just happened to work against Arizona, idk. I know I’m grasping at straws but there is no reasonable way to explain that loss to SF. That wasn’t the same, inspired team I’ve been watching the last few weeks.

We should probably move on from the 49er debacle, but I wanted to hear your takes on something that you guys haven’t spent too much time on (understandably so with a lot of big items to address this week). Going back to that Marquise Goodwin catch/fumble review, do you agree that that was the wrong strategic play there for Vance? Down one score, 3rd down and 2 coming up, 2 Timeouts remain, 2 1/2 minutes left, and you have a play that is at best 50/50 to overturn that is not in your favor since the call on the field was a catch. Why would he challenge that? This is the one I am hung up on. I replayed the game and studied this moment in time and what I see is a desperate coach who himself got emotionally caught up in that moment with it happening right in front of our sidelines. It’s like VJ lost all understanding of time and circumstance and composure. I expect the players to jump up and down and scream that it was incomplete, that’s what makes them regular players. But the head coach (and commanders like Peyton Manning) need to have the bigger picture in mind and make the best decision to win games. Is this not a prime example of why this guy should not be a head coach? Isn’t this what differentiates a great “in-game” head coach versus a great coach that maybe is a defensive coordinator or positional coach? To anyone who is on the fence still on VJ — I’ll ask you this: would you go to war with VJ leading you to battle? I am certain your answer is no, or at best a hesitant yes. That’s your answer right there. We don’t have time for our general to be “developing” unless we’re saying the stakes are not high. And that’s not the Broncos way.

Just found out my friend and I won tickets (airfare and hotel) from the best Broncos bar in Las Vegas (the Roadrunner) to the Chargers game. Any BSN listeners want to meet up at the game with 4 fans from Las Vegas?

Also I will NENER cheer for the Raiders once they move here, but I am excited to go see the Broncos each year!

Go Broncos! The LAS VEGAS Raiders SUCK!

Hey guys, First time commenter here on the BSN Podcast, It seems likely to me that Vance will be fired at the end of the season but unlike most of Broncos country for some reason I actually like the guy. He has shown for most the season that the team plays hard for him. But I digress. My question to you guys is, Who would you like to see in and head coach for the Denver Broncos? Personal preference. Thank you guys and I love the podcast!
