Dr. Dre, I see no one is commented any questions before me so I will ask a few questions since I love the draft pod so much.
1. If Paxton is a draft day trade, like some predict.. any teams you can see him going to? I thought maybe a thrown to the Giants in an attempt to trade up.
2. If Denver gets a QB not round 1, is Paxton still on the roster?
3. What was grade on Chad Kelly going into the 2017 draft? Im a little tired of hearing fans think he is the QB of the future when he hasn’t even thrown a preseason pass. Maybe its me, but I think there was a real reason he was Mr. Irrelevant besides character issues and injuries. Thanks to you and AJ!!

Now that the schedule is out I’m excited to say that I will be attending both the preseason game at the Redskins and the week three game at the Ravens. Are you guys covering either one and where are we getting beers at? Lol

Jealous…..Once again, being in Georgia I am not going to be around any of the Denver games (home or away). The few times I am going to be back in Colorado this season the Broncos are away!

I know how you feel! The last time they were in Washington aside from last season was 2010!

Dre, the guys seem convinced it is QB with the first pick. And I have to say I’m all on board as long as it is Rosen or Mayfield, Darnold I think we know goes 1 or 2 and I think Allen may be one of the most overhyped QBs in recent history. If QB is the pick at 5 that, to me means RB, OL, LB are prolly the most pressing needs. With 40 we can get a good player that is a solid starter at one of those positions, in the third round you are prolly drafting potential upside unless players start sliding. How would you feel about possibly trading picks next year to get another late first early second so you can get another starter at one of those positions?. If so which of those positions would you prioritize?

Spacebar!!!! The Kubiak to my Elway, keeping me focused behind the scenes. Yes, I am heavy into Official BSN Fantasy League preparation , and despite the nonsense that RK is spewing about it being April, there is no off season.

Guys, we have to have the draft at Dawg House or however it is spelled, and I don’t mean the one in Flagstaff or Australia, but the original… the O G D H there in Denver. I would actually fly up for the draft, what’s a few frequent flyer miles compared to the fun we would all have discussing how exciting it is that Denver drafted a guard with their first round pick. Ugh.

Ryan and Zack, if they will allow us to have space there on a random Friday or Saturday night in early August, let’s make it happen.

Two things…
1. Dog Haus was awesome! I tried it last weekend and I’m a believer.
2. I don’t know how I say Coors anymore, and I lived in Golden for 5 years. Thanks for screwing with my head lol.

Flights booked from London for Chargers on the road and Steelers at home. £350 all in as well, bargain! Next stop, tickets. Now I’ll sit and hope the list of free beers keeps increasing!

Ha! I know a little about the Isle of Man from the TLC show “Suddenly Royal” from a few years ago. Awesome you are a Broncos fan. How did you pick the Broncos? Just curious. One day, my wife and I talked about visiting the Isle of Man on one of our Ireland trips. Hopefully someday I will have a job in Ireland and I can make the jump to the Isle of Man easier! Then I’ll share a pint with you saluting the Broncos!

Hey, Guys Zack here from Mississippi.Well yall did it. You and your coverage convinced me to take the leap and sign up for the annual pass, plus I love the opportunity to put hockey in it’s place LOL. But in all seriousness I was wondering, if the draft falls the way you guys hope and think it will and we are able to draft Rosen at 5 or even move up to 2 and take him, where do you see the Broncos record at the end of the season? Thanks guys, love the coverage and go Broncos!

A lot of the comments I’ve seen linked to a Rosen slide seem to be linked with the idea that he has a lower ceiling and might be too pro-ready…but that just sounds perfect for the Broncos after doing a poor job, for whatever reason, with Lynch. And with more experience seeing more looks that a defence can give you, someone as cerebral (to use Elway’s words) as Rosen will always be able to improve more on that side of the game even with a lower physical ceiling.

Mayfield’s probably my favourite still, but can’t see him getting past the Jets, so Rosen would (might!) allow us to stay at 5, keep all our picks and make the team better for next year.

Theoretically if Mayfield does go to the Jets, that game with the Broncos will be very interesting. If Keenum is, as promised, the starter and Mayfield outplays him…any QB drafted might be getting an earlier shot than expected! If Keenum outplays Mayfield then his stock will skyrocket and will probably play out the season.

I was wondering if you guys could settle something for me and a friend of mine. We looked at the schedule and he says the team will go 5-11. I feel the team could go 10-6 with 4 or 5 close wins. Which one of us is closer to the real record and am I believing to much in the team? Happy Draft Week.

I also want to get your opinion on Chad Reuter’s ( of NFL.com ) 7-round mock draft. I am not a fan of how this played out. I think if this is how the draft went down, there will be nothing to be proud of. He has us using two of our first three picks on spots that don’t need to be filled ( a CB and a WR ). And spoiler alert, we take a QB in the third round.

Ryan,

I agree. I just don’t get why Reuter thinks the Broncos would go CB and WR at 12 and 40 respectively. Especially when you have more need positions with players available such as Guice (RB) (picked at 13) and Michel (RB) and Will Hernandez (OG) picked after 40. The Davenport pick at 23 is okay. RB and OG are much more needed positions than WR and (definitely) CB. This is one mock draft that just doesn’t make any sense.
