Hey Guys,

Absolutely loving the Matt McChesney film breakdown. I wouldn’t wanna mess with that guy!

Also, here is my 2 part game plan to beat the Chiefs, 1. Run the ball constantly, then 2. take deep shots to Courtland Sutton.

Win the time of Possession battle, jag a few chunk plays. Should be easy. Jokes.

Keep up the good work

What would it take for this coaching staff to dust off the VR for Case?

Also, with the injury to Butt and corresponding roster spot, is there any chance the Broncos embrace upside and variance and use McKenzie this week?

Hey y’all. Not a lot of questions yet for today, so…. don’t mind if I do.

1. I agree that the key to beating KC is to have a punishing run game. To that end, as a coach, would you ever consider regularly rotating in Billy Turner and Max Garcia to keep our linemen fresh so that they can (hopefully) continue to dominate?

2. As has been much discussed, our corners have been playing WAY off in order to not get beat deep. If the Broncos finally play more man press against KC, I worry about us getting torched by the Chiefs weapons. Will this be the first week the Broncos didn’t play off-man coverage but we wish they had?

3. Our special teams coverages have been balling so far this year. How much of that do you attribute to the emphasis on special teamers during roster construction? Also Joseph Jones has been a stud.

4. Finally, in the last pod you suggested that in order for Keenum to be benched, heads would have to roll. But Elway and Kubiak were arguably the biggest advocates for bringing Keenum on board, and I don’t see them being at risk. If Keenum doesn’t pick up his game, is the narrative going to be that it is just bad coaching?

Miss you guys! I’m still a die hard listener but the time I’ve usually dedicated to commenting I’ve been putting towards working for “the man”. Gotta make that coin to get all of those sweet BSN shirts! Plus I’ve been hiding out since my fantasy team is apparently the Denver Broncos of our BSNIFFL league – no offense, bad defense, and a horrible coach.

Which brings me to my question – OC’s coach the offense. DC’s coach the defense. Quarterbacks and skill players execute. It seems to me the head coach is most responsible for game planning, player discipline and culture, and working with the GM to identify needs. If I was to list my top 3 concerns about this team since 18 bailed, it would be game planning, player discipline, and filling team gaps.

How is this not 100% on VJ? He has to be on the hot seat now right?

Bonus question – who would be a hot candidate for a HC position? Even if not for Denver? I know “he whose name we do not speak” is out there and always a top candidate for another Head Coach gig, but any other coordinators we should keep an eye on, just in case?

Keep up the great work, gentlemen.

Last in relevance but first in your heart –

The blueprint for beating Kansas City is in the Steelers Monday night game against the Bucs. The Steelers defense came out swinging in that game. They blitzed early and often. They never allowed Fitzpatrick to get comfortable and they did not shy away from hitting him. When they got a 15-yard penalty? THEY SHRUGGED THEIR SHOULDERS. They said. “Oh Well.” What it did was took Fitzpatrick completely out of his game. He looked uncomfortable. He made mistakes. He threw 3 picks. The Steelers got hit with 4 roughing the passer calls and still maintained a multiple score lead.

Denver can score on Kansas City’s defense. They just have to have the courage to get after Mahomes and not worry about what these refs are doing. The refs are going to throw flags no matter what you do, so I say make Mahomes pay for every penalty yard. He needs to leave Denver wishing he never showed up.

I also want to give a shout out to Conner McGovern and Josey Jewell for being PFF’s team of the week. Despite the loss to Baltimore they balled out and looked damn good. It’s definitely a positive coming away from that loss.

Hey fellas. I’ve decided to come to Denver this weekend to cash in on my free BSN beers and go to the game on Monday. If y’all are hangin out anywhere before hand I’d love to say hey.
The last time that I was at a Broncos game was John Elway’s last game at Mile High. I was 12. We won that one.
