I know you guys have talked a lot about Drew Lock already this offseason but I was just curious what you think Elway and the coaching staff NEED to see from him this training camp. Since he was a 2nd rounder, he won’t have the 5th year option that most future franchise QB’s have being 1st round picks so he’ll already have a condensed sample size for the Broncos to review. Along with not having a 5th year option, they are openly giving him this year as a redshirt year to develop so that pushes him back another year. My question or point is that it actually seems like it could be a really important training camp for Lock to show improvement and give coaching staff the faith he can be the future. Especially when considering that the 2020 draft is going to be a good one for QB’s. If Lock doesn’t show much to be desired for this offseason/season it doesn’t seem like there would be much stopping Elway from taking Justin Herbert, Jake Fromm, or Tua if they are sitting there available on draft day next year. Hey guys, longtime listener but barely comment. Just want to say thanks for everything. The BSN network is awesome and the Broncos pod is a huge part of my daily routine. Heard a couple comments today about living in enemy territory and streaming and thought I’d chime in here. I live in the Lake Tahoe, CA area so it’s Niner/Raider territory and the BSN network is my favorite part of feeling in tune with Bronco Country. I hate DirecTV, and will not pay them money, but hands down Sunday ticket is the best option for streaming. But if you’re like me and cynical of DirecTV I’ve found using a VPN is an unreal option. You can use a basic online streaming source for tv, and then choose where your IP address locates you so you can pick up local CO networks to get every game! It works way better than Bronco Reddit or any other streaming options I’ve found. Thanks for the community and the constant news/ insight/ laughter. You guys are awesome! Go BRONCOS!!

To start off I wanted to say my wife has turned me into an avid Bachelorette watcher. Last night everyone with dish network in the western slope lost all local channels. So needless to say I missed fantasy suites and will hopefully get to watch it when it hits On Demand. Keep the bachelorette content going!
You guys are completely correct when you speak about Strawberry sky’s refreshing cold snackability. I bought a case Friday night and loved every sip.
Questions:
1. I heard about the news that Orange and Blue 760 was taken off the air. What would it take for BSN to get their own daily time on radio? What did you think of the quality 760 put out on a daily basis?
2. I wanted to know if you have been to a couple staples I always go to when I head to your side of the mountains. I used to travel to Boulder 2 times a week every week for work and would always make sure to eat at 2 places. For Dinner I would eat at LuLu’s BBQ in Louisville CO. And then immediately follow up with Sweet Cow. Those two are both amazing and worth driving any amount of distance to eat.

My thoughts come back to the zone vs power blocking scheme. Do you think the change up will help or hurt the current roster guys? I think Risner flourishing due to his football IQ but I’m afraid it will make things even more difficult for Gumballs, he seems more of a brawler and less intellectual or will the zone scheme help keep him from getting beat physically? Could he possibly get worse? ?

What pros and cons present themselves when switching from power to zone and vice versa.
What one player do you think will benefit the most and be hurt the most by the coaching change or scheme, Can be any position.

These madden ratings are straight disrespectful to not only the broncos, but almost every team. How is Bradley Chubb only an 80? Flacco, a proven starting quarterback at 74? Court at a 76? And for other teams around the league, Jarvis Landry is an 84, behind so many overrated players such as Desaun Jackson, an aging fitz, cooper kupp, and many others. Denver is, based off of the average team ratings, ranked as an 81 overall, which is the 21st team in the league. Here’s where the shenanigans really start. PHILLY AND DALLAS ARE THE TOP 2 TEAMS. I find this very hard to believe. Now, I assumed this would be a We Get Mad Wednesday topic but I figured that would be training camp talk.

What are your thoughts on Risner and Lock holding out? Is there any precedence for rookie holdouts, and if so is it dollar amounts or contract language that is holding everything up? I hate to see either of them holdout because of Daltons importance on the o-line and Locks future development.

Whats with the cat references concerning Greece??? Is that a thing? Like is Greece known for having an abundance of feline activity…that sounds awesome I want to go there. Zac will have to fill us in.

This comment is responding to the subscriber from Vegas yesterday. I would be willing to bet that there will be more Broncos fans at those games than Raiders fans, Broncos fandom notoriously travel well and I’m guessing that is going to be even truer concerning games in Vegas. I know for me personally I am going to go to every Broncos game in Vegas once that move happens, travel there is relatively inexpensive and come on, it’s Vegas, it’s already a destination. We should do BSN meet ups there every Vegas weekend, that would be such a blast to get a huge group of us at those games.

Ryan: Les Miles was a perfect example, I didn’t realize he spent time at CU.

Henry: for your name I think that instead of Henry or Hank you should just go by your initials. So like H.A. Chisholm or H.B. Chisholm etc. Obviously it depends on if your middle initial works with this but its a classy sportswriter move.

Also there is another Henry Chisholm who lived from 1822-1881 and is referred to as the Father of the Cleveland Steel Trade. I’m sure you are a direct descendant.

Just wondering if you had any insight on the potential holdout from Lock/Risner? Hopefully it’s almost a non-issue and will get resolved soon because these reps are invaluable for Lock (and Risner for that matter)
