Now onto what I have to say
We need to stop the narrative that we can’t win the division our schedule got significantly easier with the injury to jimmy g, the Steelers issues without Bell and now the issue of him returning week 7 and the turmoil that will cause and then deshaun Watson’s struggles which means 3 of our toughest opponents this year have serious concerns giving us an opening to go on a run and win the division
And that’s without talking about what the chiefs have to go through the entire league saw what Denver did to KC and I guarantee took notes…Run the ball and play downhill from off coverage while getting pressure and hopefully they saw that they need to keep him in the pocket
And they face some of the only teams that can actually do both of those with ease the rams the jags so I would easily put those in their loss column

Then you have the patriots who are the masterminds at scheming and after watching our blueprint will perfect it as they always do

Then look at some of the games that look like pretty clear cut wins but really won’t be
Browns-young D with a lot of talent, lead the league in rushing and the have baker mayfield who I refuse to count out of any game
cardinals- David Johnson one of the best backs in the NFL and he should just eat in that game
Ravens- Good D and Alex Collins May be struggling this year but can easily get going against that D and flacco is having that team rolling so far
Raiders-divisional game marshawn lynch and gruden already wants it to be a flashback to smash mouth football so expect those games to be gritty and slow
Chargers- divisional game against a Good D with two very good backs

then you have us and I refuse to believe that our coaching staff didn’t see the errors they made and won’t come back pounding the ball down their throats and playing a full season of getting gashed by other teams running games WILL wear that defense down until it’s nonexistent and WILL frustrate the offense for the defenses lack of contribution and never being on the field

Finally my last point you guys were talking about how unlikely it is for us to make a trade for someone like Patrick Peterson and that may be true but that would also be stupid we’re heading into week 5 we’re one game behind in the division and our team has some very very good things going but hasn’t put a full game together yet so I think we should go for it do what it takes to make that secondary elite again and take our shot at the division it’s an uphill battle but it’s far from lost cause…end rant…

Hey guys this first few weeks made think about the general future of the Broncos… as you mentioned in one of the last’s podcast, having an OLB as your best and highest paid player does not make sense in today’s NFL. The Chiefs have Mahomes for the next 15 years, the Raiders are starting fresh with a ton of Draftpicks next season and the Chargers have a pretty good team right now (even tho they still somehow manage to suck).
As a Broncos fan I feel kinda lost – sure there is the one good draft class of this year – but looking ahead, I cannot see a scenario where the Broncos are able to compete again without drastic changes. Am I too critical? If not what changes would you suggest? Let me know and as always keep it up!

Thank you for the insight in yesterday’s pod. I guess I let my frustration boil over a bit. As a fan, it’s difficult being completely powerless. You can scream at the game, or scream at your tv if that’s your preference, but it won’t change how the players play, or the coaches coach. You just have to try and trust that they are going to do the right thing. When it works out it’s awesome. When it doesn’t? There isn’t much of an outlet for that. Wait until next week… Wait until next year…It’s tough.
