I want to thank you guys for the coverage of the Chad Kelly situation. When I first heard about the story I rushed to BSNDenver.com to check the real story. Never believed any other post until I saw it from you guys. So thank you again.

On the subject of no questions for awhile, you guys answer my questions before I ask or another subscriber asked them for me. This is why I love this community.

Now back to football. I read an article that listed every trade move the AFC teams should make. Here is some take always from that:
Trade DT to Ravens for a 4th round pick
Trade Ray to anyone for a 6th round pick
Trade DT to the Texans for a 4th round pick
Trade Ray to New England for a 6th round pick
The Raiders should trade everything

What are your guy’s tales on these? What trades would you like to see not only the Broncos make but across the NFL?

I read an article recently that brought up the issue of Chad Kelly and his race. They said that if he was a black QB he would not have had as many chances, what are your thoughts?

I think that talent weighs on chance and behavior…Josh Gordan and many other players…Hopefully this doesnt become too uncomfortable.

1. Sanders is a selfish WR who was there to talk about himself and he didn’t want to share any spotlight with Kelly today.

The comedian Jim Gaffigan does an absolutely hilarious bit about Hot Pockets. If you have not seen it you need to drop what you are doing and Youtube it right now.

With all the other drama in Broncos country right now the Bowlen power struggle is the last thing this team needs. If they really cared about the team as much as they claim they would save all this nonsense for the offseason. To me, it all comes across as horribly entitled and selfish bickering. Nothing good will come from any of this. I personally would love to see the future of the franchise follow in the steps of the Green Bay Packers where the fans are collective owners. I’m not holding my breath.

People keep talking about Denver tanking on purpose. I agree with Ryan (as usual). It would be incredibly disrespectful to Mr. Bowlen. Besides, Denver has no real shot at a first overall pick. Not with the Raiders, Cardinals, Giants, and 49ers fighting over it. Denver won’t lose enough games to keep up with the Raiders who look like Olympic gold medalists in the tanking event. Gruden has turned losing into an art form.

Hey guys! Wanted to bring up an interesting article. NFL website had an article on best moves for each team pre trade deadline. Long story short, Broncos were heavily involved, selling Shane Ray for a 4th, Roby for a 4th, and Marshall for a 5th, DT for a 4th. 3 4ths and and a 5th. Obviously all that probably won’t happen, if any of it, but the point is clear: Broncos need to focus on the future. With that said, this year honestly sucks for QB. I like Grier, but I’m not confident in more than a late 2nd at best for him. End of the day, Broncos fans may be forced to stomach using high end draft capital on a top end DL or OL and suffering through one more rough season before selling the farm for real QB talent. Tua or bust, drop 3 1sts if necessary.

PS, that pretzel bread hot pocket is the best, and Zac may be a Russian spy.

Good morning from the East Coast! Three hits for you today:
1. Why on God’s green earth has Von Miller not opened up a store called Rent-a-Swag (from Parks and Rec), offering “the dopest shirts, the swankiest jackets, the slickest cardigans, the flashiest fedoras, the hottest ties, the snazziest canes and more!”
2. You mentioned Joe Flacco as a (perhaps unrealistic) alternate QB. How about another QB from the Ravens roster: RGIII. Inexpensive trade, cheap contract, and I’d argue the same floor as Keenum but with a higher ceiling. He’s not the same QB he was when he came into the league, but we wouldn’t ask him to be.
3. Quick, you have to pick one of the following ex-Broncos to be your QB for the next five years, who would it be (for the sake of comparison, use their performance and abilities when they wore the Broncos uniform):
-Kyle Orton
-Tim Tebow
-Brock Osweiler
-Trevor Siemian
-Paxton Lynch
-Case Keenum

Yes yes yes. I am all for the using Mckenzie as a punt returner plan this week. Its time to find out if he can be a player for the future or need to move on. With Freeman banged up I would even like to try him as a “poor man’s” Tyreek Hill. PR/KR/ Jet sweep, screen passes. Use his speed to help open up the offense a little for the main guys (Lindsey/Sanders/DT). Also liked your plan about using Wolfe to keep Mahomes boxed in but Woods may want to try to using Von/Shaq as blitzers thru the middle. Chiefs interior OLine is hurt so could be a way to get pressure in Mahomes face up the middle and Von has had his struggles with Schwartz. Would love to see a win to keep season alive but if Broncos suffer a blowout loss, Broncos fans have to let Elway know that we are ok with the rebuild for a season or two to build a consistent winner. As always love the pod and keep up the good work. Also do you guys have BSN members meetups for regular home game weeks. Coming in for Texans game and think it would be cool to meet BSN members and staff

Hey guys! Looking forward to the game this week (sort of). I think the best way to slow down KC this week is to keep Mahomes off the field. Obviously that requires more from the offense, but if our defense played like it did last week, albeit against a terrible teams, I think we’ve got a good shot.

Is it coincidence that we have our best showing when Shane Ray is off the field? He’s atrocious in stopping the run but I haven’t even seen the pressure from him that we saw a few years ago. I’m all for trading him, but I’d also like to see us take him completely off of the field for a few games to test those waters. Thoughts?

Just subscribed so I can listen to some awesome pods and give some hot takes on the broncos. Watching the game last week, I couldn’t help but notice the special team’s play. I really loved the Marquette King signing this off-season because I believe that playing at altitude should give them a huge advantage in being able to control the field position. As a student at Texas A&M, I’m watching Braden Mann, the punter here, consistently pin opposing teams deep in their territory. I know King got injured but I have been very disappointed in the punting situation even though I think the special teams has been much better then last year. What do you guy think?
Also, I think we should get hot pockets to sponsor the Hot Takes and provide free Hot Pockets. Loved watching old Aggie Von Miller and young Aggie Christian Kirk play on the same field last week. Keep on crushing the pods.

Well I think we can add Beth/Bill Bowlen’s attorney to the list of BSN podcast listeners. A few weeks ago, Ryan you mentioned that the only reason the NFL would step in would be if there is a circus and frenzy with Broncos ownership. As long as the Broncos trust stayed quiet, the NFL would let it be the status quo. I agreed with that position, but it appears you may have given some ideas to a certain attorney to stir up some controversy. How long of a leash do you think the NFL will give this situation to play out before saying enough is enough and forcing a sell of the team? For the first time in Bowlen-ownership, the Broncos are likely to finish with back-to-back losing seasons. It’s a shame that this situation is trending downward, why can’t we all just get along and do what’s best for the Broncos future in Denver?

Hot Pocket cheese HOT! ??? Classic…

The game turned out pretty much exactly like anyone would expect… Poor play-calling, lack of discipline, disgusting officiating and everyone is missing that spark. Unless we win 8 games straight, this season is a complete bust and anything other than tanking at this point is only doing what the 2017/2018 Broncos do best… shooting themselves in the foot.

They looked every bit as average as ever. The one thing that I can’t let go of is that I don’t trust Case when he’s on the field. If we have the ball, every time he drops back I get anxious because I know he’s going to be sacked, intercepted or overthrow the ball. Every completion honestly is just a sigh of relief. This game doesn’t fall squarely on his shoulders at all, but the Broncos don’t have a fire under them and until Joseph and Keenum are gone, I don’t think we can right this ship. Help ease this tension please. One last thing; do I buy my Lindsay jersey now or do I wait?
