LETS GO AVS, LETS GO NUGGETS, Lets go rockies?
I bleed orange and blue, but I think the past couple of seasons being lackluster has led to this April being even more exciting. I don’t think I can swing going to a playoff Avs game, but I think I can swing a trip to Blake Street Tavern for another watch party.
At this point, I’d be OK with the Broncos drafting only kickers if it meant the Avalanche won the Stanley Cup.
What do we have to do as listeners to get a Limited Edition BSN “RK=Oracle” Tank? Summer’s almost here and I want to celebrate “Sun’s out, guns out” with some sweet new merch. Oh since this is a culinary podcast, I almost forgot to mention food. My wife has recently found a new cereal, I don’t recall the name but it’s Golden Grahams but covered in the cinnamon/sugar powder that comes on Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
All right, It’s probably going to be July or August until I comment again, keep up the good work BSN fam

Hey BSN Family,
Sorry for not commenting for awhile just have been working. I want to first say that it was awesome for this podcast to have guess on. We need more. Thanks James Palmer for coming one. I did want to say that I don’t mind the debates about best cereal (Cocoa Pebbles), best place to eat (Red Robin), or how many wholes a straw has (#team2whole), but I can’t wait till we have a two hour podcast that has nothing but Broncos once the season starts. I do miss the old topic that ate up most of our time last year: watching Draft Day the movie before the real Draft Day.

Just had a couple of things I wanted to get your takes on.

Just watched a video from NFL.com that had two experts say who every team would take if they had the number 1 overall pick this years. They said the Broncos would take Nick Bosa. Thoughts?

I also saw a seven round mock draft from Chad Reuter. Here who he thinks Denver will take:
-Round 1, No. 10 overall: T.J. Hockenson, TE, Iowa
-Round 2, No. 41: Dalton Risner, OG, Kansas State
-Round 3, No. 71: Khalen Saunders, DT, Western Illinois
-Round 4, No. 125 (from Texans): Jarrett Stidham, QB, Auburn
-Round 5, No. 148: Keelan Doss, WR, UC Davis
-Round 5, No. 156 (from Vikings): Terrill Hanks, LB, New Mexico State
-Round 6, No. 182: Malik Carney, edge, North Carolina
-Round 7, No. 237 (from Texans): Diontae Johnson, WR, Toledo
Not sure on our first pick because in this draft, White is still on the board. Love the 2nd round pick just don’t think he will be there. Thoughts?

I was also thinking: if the Broncos go OL in the first with White and Bush and Oliver still on the board, should we look at that as Elway trusting Munchak more than Vic?

Thank you for the off-season coverage so far. So pumped for the draft. Also can’t wait for the 2nd season of the BSN Broncos Fantasy Football League.

Hey guys! One priority in the draft should be helping Phillip Lindsay remain a dynamic weapon. Phil benefited from a historic yards before contact average last season. Much of this was excellent vision by Phil but the interior of the O-line was equally important in creating space. Paradis is gone, Leary suffered a major injury and McGovern’s PFF grades nose dived after moving from guard to center. It is likely Denver has downgraded at all 3 spots.

If we don’t target a guard or center in the first 2 rounds I think Ole Miss tight end Dawson Knox should be a target in the 3rd. He’s like the Tyreke Hill of run blockers. He has the ability to get to spots on the field and make blocks that seem to defy football geometry. He identifies the most impactful blocking target and flies to that gap quicker than anyone I’ve seen. Crucially, he does so with admirable finishing power.

I encourage you to watch his game tape versus Alabama and LSU as he destroys lots of future NFL defenders.

Phil benefited from hiding behind a bunched offensive line last year and the wider gaps in Scangarello’s blocking scheme may make it easier for defenders to spot Phil before he makes his cut. A versatile lead blocker like Knox could cancel this out and unlike a fullback, Knox doesn’t take a receiving threat off the field. Zac knows that George Kittle was my favorite player in his draft class and in Knox I see a very similar player.

Knox is the same height as kittle, weighs 7 pounds more, was faster in the 40, and very close in the bench press, 3 cone, and vertical. Kittle fell in the draft because he didn’t see many targets. I expect the same will be true for Dawson. Knox’s limited targets were due to Ole Miss having 2 first round wideouts and a third who will get drafted. However, Ole Miss coaches still went on the record to say that Knox had the best hands on the team. Finally, his route tree was very diverse and he was moved around the field like a chess piece. I really believe Dawson could become Phil and Flacco’s new best friend. (No, I am not Dawson’s agent…. yet)

Buzzer beater??

Fact. Marie Sharps Sauce is God’s gift to the world.

Other fact. Week of draft invite to the BSN Fam. Buckin Bronco and I are meeting on the west side of the fan zone near the main stage around 2:30 on Thursday in Nashville. If anyone else would like to meet up there or at a bar for cold snacks afterwords, my contact is at the bottom of the post.

An important mission: I need you guys to find out what hair product Joe Flacco uses, cuz dang. His hair was perfect at the mini-camp presser.

Lastly, question: does a burrito have one or two holes?

Gentlemen, I’m calling my shot, somehow someway white falls to ten and we return to having a force over the middle that we have missed since the Al Wilson days. If I am wrong though I am excited to see where we go. Without a doubt we will get somebody who will make an impact on this team this year or next (still riding the Lock train with you Zac) don’t let RK bully you about your CORRECT opinion. Hahah keep up the great work you guys have me hyped for Thursday!!

Hi Guys,

Devin Bush is going to be my bet for the pick, (Let´s be honest, Devin White is not going to fall to 10). Still James Palmer made a great point on why getting Flacco a weapon would make a ton of sense. I just hope that we can get at leat a B+ draft, we sure need it.
I don´t know if you guys started yesterday the french toast debate, but I´m going to get in that bandwagon.
There is not a better and I repeat this because this is important. THERE IS NOT A BETTER French Toast that the one served at Kona Cafe at Polynesian resort at WDW, it is called the TONGA TOAST, please feel free to google it and start drooling, it is AMAZING. Not keto by anymeans but just a piece of heaven

Can´t wait till Thursday
Much love

What’s up guys? It’s me, that guy who was on the fence about subscribing that Ryan talked about last Thursday. Well, I decided to finally pull the trigger.
I’ve been listening to the pod for a month or two now and I can decidedly say that this is the most excited I’ve ever been about the Broncos and the offseason. So thanks for consistent, exciting Broncos content.
As for my username. I lived in Colorado until a year ago when I got a job smack dab in the middle of Chiefs kingdom. So naturally I have a huge Broncos flag in my office so people know that I’m on honorary Broncos country soil.
I dont actually have a question at the moment, but I was so excited about subscribing, I had to introduce myself to y’all.

Next time Zac is out sick, call up Zac’s dad to fill in. That would be an interesting pod. I wonder if I they laugh the same way. Has he had a hot pocket?

Where is Tom Nalen these days? He was a pretty good player during his time ( being on back-2back Super bowl teams and when he played with Plummer) Maybe the Broncos should get him in to help the offensive line understand the blocking scheme.

With R. Gary scoring a 9 on the wonderlic, does this change where you see him going in the draft? If he falls how do you see this change the players available for Denver at 10?

I am aware he struggles with dyslexia, I’m just curious if you think the NFL teams will hold this score in a negative manner or will they not care. Thanks

Hey i see Gary has some serious shoulder concerns, what are your thoughts on it and would or should Denver get him if he is there?

Thanks as always
