Zac, Deangelo Henderson isn’t on the streets, he’s on the Jets active 53. Speaking of Deangelos, the Steelers had one who looked pretty amazing in place of LeVeon in 2015 and 2016. So, maybe it is a system thing, which would explain why the Steelers were hesitant to sign Bell to a long-term deal. As for Antonio Brown, he might not have the stats this year but somehow the dude always seems to just get open. If I were to build a team that I think would have the best shot at beating the Broncos it would look like the Steelers, 2 top-tier wideouts, a good running game, 2 decent tight ends and a veteran QB that is hard to take down, and that’s just the offense. I don’t even want to get into their defense vs our offensive line. With all of the odds stacked against the Broncos this week I just have a feeling they’re going to pull out a win. It’s crazy what euphoria a win against an overrated Chargers team can produce. To win this game I think the Broncos are going to need another game with multiple turnovers (not from Keenum) and a couple prayers.

Hey Zac and Ryan,

I’m writing this before the Steelers game, which I’m watching at 5:30am on Monday, Perth time. I’m stocked with hot pockets so I’m prepared. Side note; if you love hot sauce you can put it on anything and everything! If chilli chocolate is a thing then all bets are off in the chilli game.

Talking about weird food combos that you eat, I’ve got a few. I used to get steamed dim sims and put them in a buttered hotdog bun and add soy sauce and hot sauce. Another weird Aussie (pronounced Ozzie) thing is to take the top pastry off a meat pie and use potato crisps to scoop out the filling.

I’ll save the rest of my weird food items if we don’t make it to February.

Cheers!

Hey guys,

In Australian sports you can be fined for tanking. If there’s a suspicion that a team isn’t trying to win then a club can be investigated and possibly fined and stripped of wins for the following season. Maybe that’s the Broncos appeal to so many of us down under.

Win or lose on Monday morning (5:30am Perth time), I don’t want the team to tank, especially not this year. If we need a QB then this isn’t the year to go for it. Our O line has been hit harder than a red headed stepson but trying to win has found some positive things to use for 2019. We lost some players but that’s given an opportunity to our future. Losing is not what we want to be known for. Imagine if we tanked and the prize was Bortles? Losing isn’t worth the risk.

TL;DR

Don’t tank, it’s un Australian.

P.S. Chips roofing needs more love from us! If uncle chip wants to pay for my flights from Perth to Denver and will let me be the big spoon then hit me up. It’s time that I dropped the suits and got back on the tools.

Your Mate,
Bronco Jimmy

Also I forgot to add tyreek hill is considered a gadget player because he was a running back in college and it showed on the field in his first two seasons…this offseason he worked on his route running though and now is as much a number one receiver as AB is he just hasn’t shaken the label of a gadget player yet though

Ok I’m writing this about a 1/2 hour before kickoff. I remember a pretty magical season where the broncos came from behind and beat the chargers. And after that they ran the table. Could we be seeing history repeat itself? I guess we will see in about 4 hrs.

Ps is the punctuation ok

Again with Denver playing 10+ yards off the LOS on defense. Why? Just make sure you have over the top help.

Also in Burque! Shout out Ryan our food is bomb!

I loved the physicality of the DBs overalll. Do you believe if Roby was a little more disciplined he can become the player we all expect him to be? I feel his last couple of games he has turned a ‘corner’. Justin Simmons has the ability, would another off season strength program substantially benefit him?

Hello BSN Family,
Big win for OUR Broncos. One game out of the playoffs. Beat two of the hottest teams to date. Pushed KC and the Rams to the limit. Denver has to be the hottest team in the league now.

I wanted to give a shout out to the Defense. We put a lot of pressure on Von and Chubb to carry this defense. But it is nice to see CHJ and Roby play great, Shaq get a sack, and who can forget the Pick King Shelby Harris with the game-winning INT.

I do have a quick question: What did the Broncos do during the bye-week to have this turn-around?

BadOne Log 8:

This was the upset we have all been waiting for! I am just here to say that even though the Steelers ate a lot of yards we did what we were suppose to do and get turnovers and play good red zone D. How about that 2016 draft class stepping up today? We are a few players away from really getting after it. Now as Von would say.. on to cincy let’s keep this good feeling going

piggie back on my comment.. quick question, what do you think of Tony Romo’s comment about how our O line is doing better at pass blocking now that we have 2 tackles playing guard?

Hey guys!

*Disclaimer- Long comment. Love you guys! Sorry!

I just wanted to wish you guys and the BSN family a Happy belated Thanksgiving! I’m glad Ryan had plenty to eat and I am very disappointed in Zac. How can you not have seconds! Oh and I actually had church potatoes for the first time like Ryan! With the corn flakes and man oh man that stuff was delicious. Oh and I’m for sure going to try to make Thanksgiving Nachos next year!

Okay for the fun stuff…
This game had 2015 divisional game vibes! Our defense is starting to establish the identity of the “Bend dont
Break defense” and its working! Almost every player on the secondary made a positive play! The Fireworks, Phillip Lindsay, continues to
deliver the show!
Questions lol,

1.) Do you guys buy/sell Vance’s leadership/coaching abilities for the rest of the season?

2.) Are we going to able to keep Shaq Barrett next year!?

3.) Do you guys know about the NFL title belt? The Broncos currently has the title belt and successfully defended it for the first time this Sunday with the win! We actually got the Title Belt from the Chargers last week!

Thanks again
Shaka! Much love!

PS: Google “NFL title belt reddit” or “NFL title belt”

The O line isn’t drawing penalties. Keenum isn’t throwing picks. Now, why couldn’t they do this all season long?

People are talking about playoffs now. I’d just like to see them win at least 3 more to ensure they don’t have back to back losing seasons. If they somehow make the playoffs beyond that? Well, hey. Gravy.

Klis is wrong. Von’s post game presser was amazing.

It’s nice to have a win that doesn’t require a come from behind drive as time expires.

On to Cincinnati.

After watching this game I’ve realized something about this team, they play very, very well when they have confidence. At some points I even see that swagger that’s been missing for the last 2 seasons. I still don’t believe in this coaching staff but they’re doing a lot better these last couple weeks. Also, can we get a couple of those deep routes that Sanders ran drawn up for Sutton?! That seems to be what he’s built for. Huge shout out to Phillip Lindsey for bringing the Mile High Salute back today, that kid is unstoppable. I love that after every single play he is up in the face of the defender, he’s got the heart of a lion in the body of a chihuahua.

Sup Fellas! Dang, when Shelby Harris snagged that INT to seal the deal I was so pumped and all I felt like doing was giving Zac and Ryan a huge fricken hug!
The play that I think changed the game was the BOOM PhillyWill laid out to negate the would-be touchdown! Thats that juice!!
Roby got burnt on that 97 yd TD, but in my eyes, he made up for it when he jarred the ball loose from Conner—another game changer! LETS F***** GO!!! Let’s keep this thing rollin!
Much love to my BSN fam

Hey BSN Family,
First I want to say I found you guys a few months ago and when I heard the black friday deal I knew I had to subscribe. It gets way to lonely here in New Jersey where I have to constantly be reminded of that awful loss to the Eagles last year. So happy to have my first comment be on a victory monday, and to think I was SO CLOSE to taking a spontaneos trip for the weekend to see this game! I have two thoughts for you.

1) I’m not sure what they did to the offense the past few weeks but whatever it was i’m glad they did. The O line isn’t drawing penalties every play an Keenum just about reminds me of last year (they finally figured out how to use him?).

2) IF this season runs into the playoffs I see VJ keeping his job. I wonder how long it will take for the fans to give him back their trust. To think only a few short weeks ago all we could talk about was who his replacement could/should be.

Next season I can’t wait to finally make a trip out to Denver and be at my first home game.

I could still see VJ getting fired if Elway thinks he’s peeked or the team isn’t moving in the right direction. Remember John Fox got fired after a 12-4 season.

What a game! This is the momentum shift game we’ve been waiting for. Keenum making right window throws under pressure. No picks!!! Lindsay being Lindsay (Can we just for Pete’s sake give him more touches?!). However there were still some mistakes. Do you think the mistakes are fatal? Can we still win with our secondary getting burned? I just seemed like there were way to many open guys down field. How do you think Yadom did? And who do you credit with the Broncos sudden confidence?

Thank guys as always!

Don’t forget that if the Broncos win next week, we get to hear Zac and Ryan’s duo performance of “Lonely on the Weekend”!

Back in Mile High after a win over the Chargers
Whispers of playoffs in Denver grew larger
And now they faced a formidable test
Would the Broncos or Steelers prove to be best?

No luck for the Broncos, quickly forced to punt
So Big Ben and his offense marched to the front
An air raid so strong, even AB tried a pass
But he needed to go to QB masterclass

Pittsburgh’s offense had cruised down the field
Yet it was Denver’s defense that would not yield
As Justin Simmons showed off his height
And blocked the field goal from taking its flight

A field goal to Denver, who were now up by three
And they yet again showed their talent at safety
As Will Parks forced a fumble from Grimble
Who opted for power over choosing to be nimble

The game was tied up, but the Steelers were aloof
To the tight end in orange who used to sell roofs
And within a few plays it came at a cost
As he caught his first touchdown, Ryan’s man, Matt LaSauce

Pittsburgh, however, had a trick up their sleeve
As the seconds to halftime were halted at three
A fake field goal, the ball floated to their saviour
An offensive tackle, Alejandro Villanueva

After the half, special teams was key
as Wadman’s punt was downed at the three
But with a pass to Smith-Schuster, and a change of direction
The Steelers had a 97 yard touchdown reception

The Steelers luck had finally run out
As Harris got a pick off a perfectly read route
Denver’s offense quickly levelled the score
As through the defense Keenum and Sanders tore

A trade of punts and a James Conner fumble
The Broncos’ offense started to rumble
A full field drive in eleven plays
Phillip Lindsay’s touchdown had the Broncos’ lead raised

Two more punts and the final drive started
Could Pittsburgh leave Denver fans broken hearted?
But it was not to be, as Big Ben was embarrassed
As he threw yet another interception to Harris

It was not, however, the Harris that we thought
But the one who on Friday had filled a new cot
And that’s how it ended, this Mile High thriller
Now it’s “On to Cincinatti.” in the words of… Von Miller???

What does Lindsay have to do to get more touches???? Do we blame Musgraves or VJ? 15/game with his production is just stupid. He should be our McCaffery
