Is it weird that I hope Case will turn it around and prove every doubter wrong? It’s so played out locally and nationally all that sorrounds him, that I sincerely hope he proves everyone wrong, especially Broncos country, and we never have to see kelly take a snap for the broncos. Honestly I think having kelly at center is a one way ticket to years of football purgatory. I hope case plays his two years here at the very least and if it doesn’t go so well then he can mentor next years pick next year also.

Hey guys. On Tuesday y’all said John elevate would never tank the team on purpose. The broncos haven’t had back to back losing in forever. Isn’t that pat bowlers legacy and would it be disrespecting him to lose on purpose?

There is one bit of good news coming into Thursday’s game. No matter who wins they will still have a better record than the Raiders.

Looking objectively at this team I think they are close to being a winning team. No seriously. Look at it this way. Outside of the Jets game, they found ways to hang in all of their other games. The issues on defense are not exclusive to the Broncos. The 2018 NFL season is littered with teams that are struggling on defense. It’s just the way the game is going now with more college style playcalling and rules that benefit the offense more than the defense. How many games so far have been within a play or two of being wins? The Chiefs game was close. The Rams game was a couple missed opportunities away. Even against the Ravens, there was at least a glimmer of hope.

I’m not making predictions. I’m just saying that this team is close to turning it around. Getting a convincing road win on Thursday would be a good start.

I keep hearing everyone say that this team isn’t far off from winning because they were a couple plays away from beating a few teams. In those games they were also a couple plays away from losing really badly. No team plays a perfect game, there’s always room for improvement. I’m sure the other teams radio hosts are all talking about the “plays that almost happened” that would have allowed their team to score more. I’m just saying it goes both ways and this team clearly doesn’t have any luck so they need to improve their skill.

I know yall talked about Ware as the coach, I think if you bring in Peyton next season as the Offensive coordinator would be a great option…if he would. Elway could make the promise that whatever QB he wants Elway will do whatever it takes AKA drafting or free agent to get Peyton his guy. I know that he would not want to come into a bad situation, so while fantasizing why not dream big.

Last time we played Arizona, DT went off for 226 yards and 2 scores. In no way am I predicting he gets even close to this, but I wanted to say how much I think Broncos Country disrespects this man sometimes. He had a few drops EARLY in this season, sure, and everyone was out for his head. But since then he’s been solid and has been exactly what you hope for in an almost-31 year old WR. He should be appreciated for all that he has done because realistically he’ll probably be gone next season and this game just reminded me of how great he has been for us. Do you think the Broncos brass keeps him around if he takes a hometown discount next year? I truly hope he retires a Denver Bronco.

Hi fellas at BSN. New student subscriber from Southern California. I’ve been listening to the BSN Podcast through iTunes but finally got the full subscription to get all the awesomeness you guys offer. I wanted my first comment on here to be a positive one so here it is on a hopefully Victory Friday–as a frustrated fan, I really appreciate Domata Pekos constant positive attitude and energy he brings. He’s always firing up the fans, checking on injured teammates, and just an overall positive energy. Might have to get a Peko jersey! GO BRONCOS

I really hope we would hold out for Tua and take the opportunity of a likely high draft pick to pick up Greedy Williams to play opposite CHJ while Yiadom gets to grow into the 3rd corner role. Hopefully Giants get a QB to take them out of the race in 2020 as it’s be a miracle for Eli to last this year; there’s no way he could last 2! No tanking needed and we get a great player to lock down a WR to give Von Miller and Chubb more time to get home.

If we could somehow tempt Jim Harbaugh away from Ann Arbor that would also be great. A coach who knows the college game and could really help bring on a young QB… hopefully Tua. Maybe that could help recruit him if Elway says that the Broncos will sell the farm to draft him, e.g. 2020 first round pick, 2021 first round pick, heck, if it gets us up to #1 to take Tua, throw in 2022 first round pick too! There is absolutely no player who could be picked in the first round who can have as much of an impact as the QB, or should I say the RIGHT QB.

There’s no way Tua would stay in longer, would he? Surely he wants to play in the 4th quarter at some point in his career ?

I have a few thoughts and questions:

1) Elway is a Denver legend. He has brought Denver its 3 Lombardi Trophies.. 2 as a QB, 1 as a GM. He inherited a 4-12 mess from Josh McDaniels. He then won 71 out of his first 100 NFL games, which is an all-time NFL best for a GM’s first 100 games. So the last two years have been tough on Broncos country, going 7-15 so far. But the fact is, Elway isn’t going anywhere. Thank God he isn’t.
That said… when he started in the front office, he was the VP of football operations and we retained our GM for a year or two to advise Elway. Should Elway consider bringing in a GM and moving back to just VP? He would have final say on all decisions (much like the Nuggets set-up with Connelly and Karnisovas), but he would have someone else to help him out with the numbers and talent evaluation. I know he has Kubiak to help him out, but Kubiak is a coach, not a GM.
2) QBs of the draft. I know you guys don’t love Justin Herbert, but I do, and I think Elway will. Some evaluators are saying he is a better prospect than any QBs were last year. And here’s the kicker… he’s 6 foot 6 inches, has a strong arm and can throw on the run. HE’S ELWAY’S DREAM. And he’s not a second rounder or late first round flier… he’s a legit top tier talent. Do you think Elway goes for him? What do you think is worth giving up in draft capital in order to get the Number 1 overall pick?
