I’m interested in knowing what characteristics you value the most when listening to a play by play or color commentator? What “style” (if there is such a thing) connects with you the most?

For me it’s all about the voice, for instance Jon Gruden really grates on me, however, I wish the voice inside my head was Kevin Harlens, I could listen to him all day long!!

Only 10 QBs got 25 or more last season, Case got 22 with Vikings,but I do expect him to be right around that 24/25.

Hey guys congrats on the 1M. Love the pod. Chad Kelly just came in and I’m excited to see what might happen. Watching Paxton lynch has felt like watching Donald Stephenson 2.0. I’ve watched every in game snap Paxton has ever played. Why is he still here? I understand sticking to your guns, but at some point you need to find a viable backup option. (Not Glennon) Hoping Chad does well, but not falling for the 3rd string trap.

Watching the game I am surprised they have played will parks for so long. He has been great all game. Also, Josey jewell is our Posluszny. He is always around the ball and seems to just know where to be. Posluszny was always a sure thing on a shaky defense

Sorry, not everyone knows Paul Posluszny because he played with the Jacksonville Jaguars during the dark era. He was quietly one of the most sure linebackers I’ve watched.

Just have to say that the preseason game had its ups and downs, but still optimistic for this season. Wanted to know why Vance Joseph called out Chad Kelly for his interception leading to a touchdown and not Paxton Lynch’s interception resulting in a touchdown? Thoughts?
