Fact-check: “Oh no, we suck again” is a quote from the Adam Sandler sport’s “classic” Water Boy, not Billy Madison. Though Happy Gilmore is the better Adam Sandler sport’s movie.
After the first game, Marcus Rush and Jeff Holland both finished with a sack. Which of these OLBs currently has the “edge” (pun intended) on a possible 5th spot at OLB?
P.S. I watched the game from the BSN watch party and had a fun time, thanks for the free beer it tasted way better than the ones I paid for, well worth being a loyal BSN subscriber.

Got the news that (Not) Chad (Kelly) got the nod to run with the 2’s this week…..thank goodness.
Looking at the overreaction to our offensive performance in the game and I can’t help but blame Paxton. Sure Case had two 3 and outs, but everyone would be way more relaxed about that if we would of had a competent #2QB to come in and complete a pass to #14 & #17. That’s really all anyone who has been listening to the reports out of training camp wanted to see the other night. Just a glimps of what that may look like would have satiated the appetite of a fan base that hasn’t seen anything resembling an effective offense since 2014.
I STILL BELIEVE! BUT PLEASE JEBUS GIVE A LITTLE TASTE THIS WEEK AGAINST THE BEARS!!!!
GO BRONCOS!

“No bull” time.
I’d say no to a veteran QB.
Why? Simple as heck. We’re the Denver Broncos fanbase. We’re not the Chiefs. We are not the Raiders. We’re not the Browns.
Some fanbases like to end up a season 8-8. They feel good if they end a season 9-7. For some of them, a 10-6 is something they never saw.
Not us. We have 15 Division Titles. We have 8 AFC Trophies. We have 3 Lombardis. It doesn’t matter what Elway and the brass say, it’s always boom or bust with us.
That said, there’s no difference between being 7-9 and being 3-13 for Broncos purposes. Heck, even a 10-6 season doesn’t matter much if I have to watch other teams playing in January. Do you think Matt Moore will take the Broncos to the promise land? How much above average is him? If you had to have him as a starter, would you be comfortable?
I was already thinking this, and Brandon Perna’s latest video showed me I was not the only one. IF Chad shows himself to be good enough to be THE backup, if he’s clearly heads and shoulders above Paxton against the twos, let him take some reps against the ones. If he still shows the same signs of talent and promise, then go with him as your backup.
Sure, if Keenum goes down (knock on wood), the season goes down… Or does it? What if Chad pulls up a Nick Foles? A Russel Wilson? We will never know if he’s buried behind Matt Moore for two extra wins in a playoff-less season. OTOH, if he DOES need to start, we’ll see what he’s made of. I’m not worried about the mental aspect, for sure. IF Keenum goes down, we have to be able to properly ascertain if the future lies with him or if we should spend heavy draft capital next season on QB again.
Peace xD

Vance kept saying Von was gonna play in the game but at the last second was pulled. Do you think this was John’s decision and if so do you think John is impeding too much on the coaching decisions made by VJ? This seems to have too much of a Shannahan/ Al Davis feel.

Hey Zac and Ryan – new subscriber here.
Weird question, but bear with me. With the Broncos quarterback change, how will that impact the scout team qb? Is Chelly now the scout team qb or is Lynch? If Paxton is the scout team qb or has been in the past, what were his reviews like? Was he able (or if this is a new role, will he be able) to keep up with the weekly scheme changes that scout team qb entails?
Thanks!
Rudyohh
El Chelly is the future! So when we cut paxton do you think #6 will snatch up that jersey #12 just like he snatched that QB2 spot, hahaha. Dude when you said El Chelly could be a Rodgers, I was totally and still totally, completely believe and hope so, TOUCHING WOOD!
GO BRONCOS! Rude-you
