Hey guys. Just subscribed and am already loving all the content. So thanks for that. Question. With Lindsey, Freeman,Sutton, Hamilton and Patrick looking like legit NFL options going forward, do you see a path to the Broncos developing a Chiefs level offense without compromising our defensive core. Do you think the cost of getting that Mahomes(esque) QB would weaken the defense? If we can maintain the D core while developing and aquiring the QB I think this team can be scary. Thanks guys

If Denver loses Sunday, wouldn’t it make sense to cut Pac-Man and move up Langley from the PS and give him and Yiadom a lot of playing time just cause? I’m sure they wouldn’t do that because it shows tanking or whatever but oh well.

PS: Does the BSN store have 3XL tall sizes? I don’t want to go look myself and see all the cool stuff just to find out I can’t wear anything lol.

Thanks,

Mark

BadOne Log 2:

Ryan, great DT tribute article that was some good stuff! now excuse my long comment.

ok guys, I am moving past the DT trade talk and really want to focus on one thing, the 2018 draft class. I know much the BSN family loves all the new rookies from this class. But I want to look at what the Saints for a brief moment. From 2014-2016 they go 7-9 THREE YEARS in a row, and then in 2017 they have an amazing draft (much like our 2018 class) and they jumped to 11-5. Why did they make that jump? easy a great QB and a great Coach.

Now to put this into perspective, I feel like we could make that jump with another solid draft in 2019. But this next coach hire is going to be so crucial to this organization. We can not overthink this hire. But the QB issue is where we might be stuck, I was onboard with us riding with Case for one more year, but man after that KC game last week idk if I can watch one more year of nonestop turnovers and a few flash plays. I hate to say it but we need to go after a rookie in this draft because the Vets and Von and CHJ are wasting away now going on a third year in QB limbo.

2018 class is going to be a moment that we can all look back and say “this is when things turned around for us” but I feel like we have one more year of QB limbo and a medicore performance coming up.

Hopefully for Halloween, Vance dressed up as a competent football coach just so he could know what it’s like. I know we’ve had a lot of conversations recently about Hot Pockets so just want to shout out a place in Ryan’s favorite city, Boulder. There’s a dope empanada place – which are just classy hot pockets. I highly recommend the corn empanada, but they’re all delicious. Also really glad I broke down and bought a new Broncos jersey this year. I wanted Justin Simmons, but the store didn’t have it, so I settled for DT, glad that worked out well. Are you guys disappointed the Broncos didn’t make more trades at the deadline? I feel like we need to start stocking up on the ammo necessary to be able to jump up in 2020 to draft Tua. Maybe trade out of the first round next year for a 2020 1st? Are there other big names from this team that will be under contract next season that are likely candidates for trades?

Hey guys, literally you create the best sports content ive ever seen so thank you for that. I just commented to say that while the broncos may not be playoff caliber for a year or two – the future is incredibly bright for them. The rookies this year look simply amazing with Phil Lindsay leading them. And if the broncos can manage even half the success they achieved in the draft they will be unstoppable in just a few years.

Question: Are there any young upcoming coaches thay could replace Joseph at Head Coach? I feel like Elway is finally realizing you cant just take a “safe option” at HC and expect to see quality results..

One suggestion regarding questions. Perhaps ask us to list our questions first so that if there are 15 – you can choose to simply read the question and move on, whereas if you have 7 you can read the whole comment? (Yes im aware i listed my question much later 🙂

Also for Ryan: Philip Lindsay is amazing. I spent the last 30 minutes watching film qnd highlights and i swear that; unless he gets hits squarely – the first guy to run into him literally doesnt slow him down at all – its like he’s unstoppable on first contact. Whats his average YAC? I feel like he’s gotta be up there – despite being so small.

Sanders definitely sounds like a guy who doesn’t want to be here after the DT trade but I think on the inside he is excited to get the attention of being the #1 guy. Emmanuel has that 1 fumble on that weird lateral from Sutton, otherwise Keenum is responsible for all of their other turnovers. How crazy is that? You guys didn’t knock on (touch) wood when discussing this either so any fumbles this weekend are on you guys. Speaking of fumbles, I have a bad feeling about JJ going up against Turner, or Veldheer for that matter. I see at least one sack fumble coming on Sunday.

On the other side of the ball, how fitting would it be for DT to beat Roby for 6? It would be the epitome of this season.

Su’a is supposed to play this game, whose field time do you think he takes? If the Broncos had faith that he could stay healthy do you guys think they would have tried to move Stewart? With a bigger role for Parks and Su’a getting healthy where does Stewart fit in?

A general NFL question: Is there a correlation between elite QB’s and Coaching stability? As an example- I feel an average coach like Mike McArthy has been blessed with a QB like Rogers due to his elite level of play. Without him I doubt McArthy would have been tenured as long as he has. Hypothetical- If the Broncos has an elite QB do you think VJ would be a successful coach here?

Hey guys new subscriber here! I found your podcast during training camp and quickly realized that it was head and shoulders above the rest. I had been dragging my feet about subscribing, but with the latest t-shirt deal I could’t resist. To all BSN listeners who haven’t subscribed, GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND SUBCRIBE!!!!! By not subscribing with this deal you will have just committed one of the 2 biggest blunder in history (the other being never go up against Jon Gruden in a stupidity contest). Go subscribe we’ll wait…Now that you’ve subscribed, here’s my question you guys: If you could change 1 decision from the past 3 years what would it be?

The first of many comments,
HammerJammerJr

P.S.
I could’t think of a good football/broncos related name, and believe me I tried. Do you have any suggestions or should I stick with what I got?

I was watching the KC game over again, and a stat about the first QB since Peyton Manning in 2015 to throw an interception through the first 8 games is Case Keenum. Considering we went on the win Super Bowl 50 that year, I’d say we’re destined to repeat!

Totally kidding. But I do have one question: Do you think the Broncos will play soft against DT or be fired up to shut him down on Sunday?

Hey guys. I wanna apologize about yesterday comment. I wasn’t trying to insult you guys. I was just trying to have some fun. Anyways here’s my question. Besides the Super Bowl teams and the one super bowl loss (that I don’t wanna talk about) what Bronco Team did you think was the best? I think it was the 2005 Broncos. That team had a strong running attack and good D. It was a shame Plummer turned the ball over 6 times in the Champions game.

After seeing that press conference yesterday one thing is clear. VJ clearly doesn’t like clowns. I’m pretty sure that’s just how Klis normally looks isn’t it? 🙂

So far the Bronco shirts in the locker have been awesome. I would like to see a Broncos shirt that is just generally about the team as opposed to a specific player. Any chance of that?

I though I was over DT getting traded. Then I saw him in that Texans uniform. I haven’t felt this bad about trading a player since Shannon Sharpe got traded to the Ravens.

With the Broncos season on the ropes at 3-5 I was wondering what Vance has to do to save his job. (Record wise)

I listen to a few other Broncos Podcast (Don’t worry you guys are by far the best) and many of them are saying it is just a matter of time before Vance gets the AX. As if Elway knows Vance is in over his head and has already made up his mind.

Do you believe this is true?

Hi guys. I just have a comment today. I’ve been listening to you for about a year now and I didn’t realize until this week just how funny you are. You’ve had me in stitches several times this week. I particularly like your VJ and Keenum Halloween costume ideas!

Will miss you DT. Glad I got to be there to see that overtime walk off touchdown in person. Always a Bronco. Quick question tho: how do you think how do you think DT will look with a confident, accurate QB? With Hopkins on the other side I bet he’ll see more one on one matchups. Thanks again for all the great coverage. Keep it up!
