My question is for Ryan, do you still believe that Murray is your guy after the loss to Bama? I’m still all for tanking for Tua, I think he looked sharp the entire time. I do know that Oklahoma’s Defense is nothing really compared to Bama’s so…grain of salt either way
Craig L
I would happily take either, they are both an massive upgrade on what we currently have.

Hey guys it’s been a while since my last comment, but with the talk of Kyler Murray committing to baseball what happens to the A’s if he chooses football? Do they get draft compensation for wasting their first round pick? I think NFL first round picks are more valuable than the MLB but maybe that’s because I don’t watch much baseball. Do NFL teams get compensation if they draft a guy and he chooses to go play baseball or something? I remember when Crabtree was refusing to play for the 49ers but I don’t think they got anything for it unless they traded him. I made this comment pregame so my spirits are still high today, but I feel that’s going to plummet later when the Broncos lose 40-17

Assuming that Case is out of the picture and we don’t draft a QB that we can start right away, would you rather see Eli Manning or Brett Hundley in the Orange and Blue as our starting QB next season?

Guys, here is a question for the next podcast. Your comment in one of the podcasts last week intrigued me. Could Peyton Manning really become part of a new franchise ownership team? Is this a real possibility or just a fantasy? And please could you explain for us exactly what is happening with the ownership of the Broncos. I’ve seen stuff about 2 of Pat Bowlen’s daughters possibly being a successor, and I also saw stuff about one of his sons disqualifying himself. Is this process likely to come to a head in the short term?
Happy New Year to all of the team.

It’s a real possibility, not by himself but as part of a group. How cool would it be to have John Elway and Peyton Manning as part owners?
MrFreeze
Postgame sitting here thinking, well at least the loss wasn’t THAT bad. And that’s why I think everyone has to go. The standard in Denver is winning, not “at least it wasn’t a blowout”. Give me any rookie QB coming out in the draft over Keenum, I don’t care if its a division 3 guy from the middle of Alaska, it’s gotta be better than this.

Is Vance fired yet?

BadOne Log 17:
So long 2018 season you will be buried right next to the 2017 season. So ok now we have a top 10 pick, by the time you guys do the Pod on Monday VJ will be fired. so 2019 offseason has officially started for us and its time for us to get a HC, OC, DC then shift the focus on finding a QB, CB, LT, and MLB.
Here is an idea I have been kicking around, do you see Case getting thrown in a trade package in an exchange for a QB like Stafford, Tannhill or Flacco? I see that possibly happening.
Strap up for yet another interesting season. Thank you Falcon, Lions, Falcons, Panthers, and maybe Buffalo for winning today!
Ya Boi,

I expected and wanted a loss in this game. But seriously? 9 points?!? The Chargers offense was just abysmal in this game. There is no excuse. Time to clean house. I expect an coaches to be gone in the morning.
BroncoJayhawkJay
I expect all coaches*

Thank God this season is finally over. Never thought I would have to say that as a Broncos fan. On the assumption that VJ gets canned today (and we start 2019 off right), one of my biggest sighs of relief is that we’ll never have to hear the “great week of practice” jokes anymore. There’s always someone on Facebook or Instagram who’s spouting them off in the comments.

This off season will show the true colors of Elway and Ellis. Its not in Elway’s nature to tank, plus tanking is actually fairly difficult and non Guaranteed. Not to mention the hopeless mindset and losing culture that come with tanking. But on the flip side, there are no Proven commodities to be had or sure thing drafts to sell the farm for. The only thing that is certain is they have to commit hard to next draft or a record over 0.500 next year. Joe Ellis and company might have to sell the team in the near future, so they want wins now. John Elway’s reputation as a player is ironclad as a GOAT. But fo you think Elways reputation as a GM rests in this off season alone? Does Ellis’ reputation rest in this offseason too? What are their true colors.

Hey guys, it’s been a hot second since I’ve last commented. First, I was wondering, what ratio of the responsibility for the offensive struggles that should be shouldered by Vance and Bill respectively? To me it seems like Bill should be blamed for that, not Vance.
Second, no firings have happened (yet), but I have the unpopular opinion that Vance really doesn’t need to go, we just need a decent OC to liven up the offense. If you look at it, Vance has really had very little to work with, and not many head coaches are gonna make the playoffs with a combination of Siemian, Lynch, Osweiler, and Keenum. However, I also think that while Vance doesn’t need to go, he’s gonna get fired because Elway needs a scapegoat for his terrible drafting over the past few years. Thoughts? Sorry for the long one, thanks for the great content!

I want to thank you both for all the hard work you both do day in and day out. BSN has taken off this past year and speaking for the entire community, we cannot wait to see how high you will go. Looking forward to all the offseason pods and content, but enjoy the slower schedule. Cheers fellas and happy New Year!

Mike Munchak you gotta be kidding me.
“Let’s bring in a coach who’s already been a proven failure. That’ll get the fan base excited.”
I’m so tired of the Munchak’s the Toub’s the John Fox’s even Kubiak. I want some one young full of fire and ideas. Sorry for ranting.
Do you think Adam Gase is a possibility. I don’t really want him but I remember Elway really liking him?
Jdfry
Why does everyone think potential coaches want a young QB already on the team? People say the Browns and Jets are attractive to top tier coaches because they have an established QB. If I’m one of those potential coaches, I would want to pick my own QB and Denver can with a top 10 pick. Thanks!

Hey Ryan and Zach thanks for making this season a little more bearable. I found you guys in week one and I feel more informed about the broncos because of you so thanks and I am looking forward to hearing what you have to say in the coaching search. In my opinion the broncos should listen to your podcast because you have had some really insightful takes though out the year. I just hope by firing VJ the broncos find their answer at coach I don’t want to become the browns and get a new coach every year. Well thanks again and thank you I love listening to you guys and look forward to the new podcast coming out every day.
