Hey guys,
The term “veteran” gets thrown around a lot (especially during cut period). In your opinion, when does a player transition into the veteran period of his career? And do you think there is a difference between when a player is considered a veteran in a locker room vs when a player is considered a vet contractually?
Sorry I always have these weird terminology and stat questions for you. I honestly don’t know who else to ask that might actually know!
Thanks and much love as always,
– (Not) Chad (Kelly)
I’m only 20, but I’ve been watching the Broncos since before I could walk. My favorite player of all time is Champ Bailey, so Pacman Jones getting #24 isn’t sitting very well with me. I think I’m more comfortable with Philip Lindsey getting #30 for a couple of reasons. Number 1, I never really got to see Terrell Davis play, so it doesn’t feel as personal to me. But I think the bigger reason is that Lindsey is a rookie that has potential to do GREAT things with that number. I feel like letting Jones have #24 just isn’t worth it. He’ll play a maximum of a couple of years and probably be nothing special. How do you guys feel about the whole thing? Love the content, keep it up!

With Sua missing both games against Kansas City, is there anyone on the roster that can stop Travis Kelce from taking Denver to the woodshed again?
Thanks,

Not a question but I have to say a few words before the start of the season…
A big thank you to Ryan, Zac, Andre, Brandon, AJ and Henry for this amazing offseason/preseason coverage from the senior bowl throughout the Draft and everything else in the last few month!!!
Your coverage and work with the BSN community is outstanding and unique. I still can’t believe that Ryan paid us a visit on our own small German NFL podcast. Like always keep it up guys, looking forward to the season.

What days do you do the podcast each week?
Thanks

Do you think Denver is finished making roster moves, or do you think they are still shopping around the league? They have roughly 12 million left in cap space and I cannot see Elway spending any more this season. Especially with so many players needing to be resigned to new contracts next season. In your opinion are there any positions left that the team needs to address with a potential FA signing, or trade?

Guys- I need to say thanks. First and foremost thanks for running a great POD and wonderful articles on the web site. WEll worth the price of admission. BSN has turned into my “happy place” after a long day at work really it is an escape for me. For that I say thanks. I also want to commend you for not mixing politics into your POD and articles. In the last several days Twitter has been infused with every sort of view point known to mankind on kneeling, the anthem, football, the president, the NFL and the divide is horribly amazing. I DO NOT want my happy place to be filled with divide or political discourse rather I want to discuss football, Broncos football in particular. This needs to be something that brings us together despite our political views and opinions. It is a safe place that we can seemingly all agree on and converse about without contempt or disrespect (unless it is the Raiders that are disrespected). So thank you for not entering into the political realm and keeping this about something we all enjoy – Broncos Football!

Hey guys
I really think Elway wasn’t lying when he said life is too short for a rebuild but instead has actually managed to create a roster that is a long shot compete now but future proper compete.
So now it looks to me like they’ve set up to next year drop Davis, Marshall, Wolfe, Stewart and one or both of Sanders and/or Thomas.
Will that give them enough roster money to make a big splash on a game changing player like Le’veon Bell or someone younger of similar quality for a Superbowl push the following season?
Maybe Peko & Veldheer might need replacing too but other than that I think we’re looking good for several years.
What do you guys reckon?
