Waves of bodies is absolutely a Death Clock song.
Based on the Elway/Manning ownership group hypothetical, if John were to transition to owner and lead Denver to anther super bowl, would that his legacy the greatest in the history of the NFL, or even sports? Winning a SB as a player, GM, and Owner with the same team is incredible.
Also, who plays young and old John Elway in the movie that’s inevitably made.

Long time listener, first time commenter, dubs (like clubs, of which did they announce who won the driver?) from SLC. Ryan, your constant mentions of the inwego app are making me think about moving back to Denver, we don’t even have Major League Baseball out here and you get to go to any game for so cheap… Straight up Jelly. Anyways, with all the new talent and the non-traditional defensive looks, and with guys like Todd Davis and Josey Jewell, what are the chances that Brandon Marshall stays with the team after this year. And who else might be leaving?
Hello guys,
I’m writing about Beth Bowlen Watson’s latest Public Relations maneuver and her expressed interest to become controlling owner of the Denver Broncos.
To me, this scenario has all the attributes of a greedy child.
We’ve seen these scenarios play out before so many times before…
For example, Anna Nicole Smith vs the estate of billionaire oil tycoon J Howard Marshall II, her husband of 14 months who had died with an estate of $1.6B and left her absolutely nothing in his will.
Like Beth Bowlen, Anna Nicole Smith made claims that she was promised half of Marshall’s estate.
It’s the easiest thing in the world for a sibling of a departed parent who leaves an enormous estate to claim that, “Daddy wanted me to have everything.”
So, when Beth Bowlen Watson released the PR crafted statement that implying that it is in accordance with her father’s wishes, and implying that it was preordained by her father Pat Bowlen that she lead the Broncos, she is laying the groundwork to siege war.
So, If you think she has any desire to “earn” her way into the role as controlling owner, I would say that that is the furthest thing from her mind.
Think about it…
If she’s already hired a team of lawyers and hired a PR firm to craft her messages, and we know she has because San Francisco PR firm Singer Associates issued her last statement…
“I love the Denver Broncos…My father’s legacy is very important to me….” da, da, da, da, da….” and she has informed the NFL and team officials that she wants to be named controlling owner of the team, then this woman and her lawyers are preparing for a protracted legal battle that could get really ugly and drag on for years.
And the when “The Pat Bolwen Trust” represented by Broncos president Joe Ellis, Broncos team counsel Rich Sliva and Denver attorney Mary Kelly, said that Beth, “…has declined our invitations to discuss her qualifications for the last two years.” and “The trustees have informed Beth of their determination that she is not capable or qualified at this time.” then they, The Pat Bolwen Trust, are in effect, drawing a line in the sand indicating there is no possibility that they will name Beth Bowlen Wallce controlling owner of The Denver Broncos Organization.
So where is this all going?
Well, one problem is that Pat Bowlen is still alive, so problaby it’s just a PR war at this point.
But once Pat Bowlen dies, the battle between The Pat Bowlend Trust–which is essential the The Denver Broncos organization–and Beth Bowlen Wallace will enter a new realm
So she and her lawyers are probably going to end up suing the trust, and suing The Denver Broncos and suing the NFL, and the whole thing will take years, and be a huge distraction for the Broncos organization, cost The Broncos organization millions, and there is no good that can come of any of this.
Your thoughts???
