First time commenter here. I’m currently thru-hiking the entire Appalachian Trail (Georgia to Maine, 2200miles, 6.5 months) and recently found your podcast. Absolutely love it- helps me to pass the time on my long days of hiking and keeps me well informed about all things Broncos. You guys are awesome! Thank you!
My question is about the Broncos offense. I have heard that Bill Musgrave runs a “west coast” style of offense. I know John Elway and Gary Kubiak come from the Shannahan tree and were trying to get back to those roots when Kubiak was head coach, but it seemed outdated and like something the NFL has moved past. The successful offenses these days seem to be run by the creative minds of people like Kyle Shannahan, and the coaches of the Eagles and Rams, with elements of the college game mixed in, etc. So I’m wondering, how much will the Broncos this year be trying to go “John Gruden” on us, and how much will they be on the cutting creative edge?
By the way, I am doing the Appalachian Trail as a charity hike to fight human trafficking in Thailand- supporting an organization that gives an education up through the university level to at-risk young girls in Thailand and provides them with safe shelter while they study. Hey guys, great podcast as always! As a beer delivery driver in Missouri, who used to deliver in Branson, I feel like this podcast was made specifically for me. First, I’d just like to say that outside of Big Cedar Lodge, where the pass rush summit was, and a pretty cool water park, Branson is mostly just retired people driving slow everywhere, but maybe I’m just jaded from growing up close by my whole life.
Also, to totally blow your minds on the beer cases, St. Louis has both 24 packs and 30 packs of Miller and Coors light, depending on if you buy it at a gas station or a grocery store.
Finally, some players I always rooted for that weren’t super talented: David Bruton, Kelly Herndon, and Tatum Bell

Do you guys think the broncos have any interest in J.R. Sweezy?

If you like crickets, then go to Oaxaca (pronouced “WAH-HA-CA” for the gringos lol) in Mexico – there you’ll find a delicacy called chapulines (“CHA-POO-LEAN-ES”) which are basically roasted grasshoppers sprinkled with special spices… INCREDIBLE. Every time I go down there I have to get some… and it doesn’t matter if they’re sprinkled on food or if I eat them right out of the bag – they never fail!
