Great podcast. I was already warming up to Keenum after the articles and podcast when he was signed to the Broncos. Now I am that much more hyped about seeing him play this next season! Hopefully Zac’s “expiration date” comment doesn’t pan out because I would like to see Keenum excel for the Broncos for a number of years!

If Keenum stays at the 2nd tier (who knows, maybe he can move up to 1st tier) and stays healthy. How long do you think he will be the Broncos starter and when can we expect Elway to start finding his replacement, either in future drafts or another veteran in free agency?

GO BRONCOS!!!

Could Paxton or Kelly be the future?

Okay, maybe I jumped too quick on Kelly, but I wouldn’t hold my breath with him. Definitely not Paxton. He has already lost the job twice to a 7th rounder (and that 7th rounder was no Tom Brady..who was 6th I know, but you get the point). Paxton is a FLOP.

I don’t understand the logic… if Paxton is so bad bcuz he lost the job to a 7th rounder, how does a 7th rounder have a chance to be our future starter? Also when Paxton was drafted opinion was he’s a 2-3 year project, this is year 3.

Everything I’ve heard about Paxton is that he lacks the dedication.. Case is like captain dedication.. Is it crazy to hope that our backup QB learns from the starter’s strength and develops?

Paxton is bad because he falls under pressure in the pocket and hasn’t learned to make the correct throw (play) during the game. Nothing I saw during his time on the field during the game over the last two years has said he is going to improve. Even as a back-up to Keenum. I don’t think it is his dedication. I just wasn’t impressed with his playing ability. When someone is a 2-3 year rpoject, then there should be some growth in the years. There hasn’t been any growth over the last two years and I am thinking there won’t be any this year either. Maybe he will prove me wrong and we already have our QB of the future when Keenum’s time is done.

As for Kelley. There is no saying he may be the starter because there isn’t any playing time tape outside of college and he has been limited in practice due to the injury last year. I would like to see more of him during the offseason and maybe during a pre-season game to start building my judgement on Kelley. He hasn’t proved or disproved his NFL ability yet, as Paxton has failed.

Hey guys great pod have been watching case highlights from time to time and love watching him wiggle out of defenders grasp and throw dimes.

My question is being from Texas I don’t get a lot of broncos talk face to face so I’m often in now broncos related football conversations. Who is yalls favorite active and retired player who was never a Bronco?

Also if y’all could pick on player to magically acquire who would it be and why?

Thanks a Bronco from Texas.

Hey guys what would you say is your favorite/best draft the broncos have ever had. I’m gonna say the Elway draft doesn’t count since we didn’t draft him. And I don’t want you guys to have to do a bunch of homework for my stupid question. So just off the top of your head will work. I dunno just spit balling here since you guys wanted more comments.

Here’s a fun question! Who would be more successful: Zac making a block on the Broncos o-line, or Ryan catching a deep ball from Keenum while running a corner route?

Let’s get some feedback from the subscribers!

Nice one Gunner….

Zac would hence forth be call “Pancake” after Miller or Chubb rolls him over

Ryan shall be known as “Doormat” After Harris Jr. walks all over him to keep the “No Fly Zone”

Yours truly.

It’s a little late, but thanks for the tourist advice. I’ll be sure to let you guys know when the wife and I get into town..

With Bill Musgrave having worked under former Vikings OC Pat Shurmer in 2014 with the Eagles, I’d assume its safe to say that Coach Musgrave is intimately familiar with the scheme and terminology that the Vikings ran last year with Case Keenum at QB. Do you think that our offense this year will be a near mirror image of the offense he ran last year in Minnesota allowing Case to step in and be an expert from day 1 and not have to learn a completely new scheme.

Hey new subscriber here from England, love the pod. My question is: who are the most athletic players on the current roster and if every player were to redo the nfl combine drills today who would have the most impressive showing? (You can’t say Von miller). Cheers guys, keep up the good work.
