Just subscribed, I’ve been listening for a little over two months and love yalls content and takes, I’m curious about hop vs Lindsey, they are similar but did Lindsey have fumbling issues like hop did in college? If not that could give him a leg up.

Guys I know this is a ridiculous thought, but is it possible that Sanders could be this years Ward and be a surprise cut? Hear me out, he is gone next year, Sutton has a huge ceiling and Hamilton is one of the most polished route runners in the this years class. Not something I’m hoping for by any means just thinking out loud. Lol

I was actually wondering if the Broncos had any conversations with Emmanuel recently and may have raised the priority of the position in the draft in response to some concerns with. If they are concerned about Emmanuel, as well as the future of Henderson and McKenzie, the position was very unstable. I don’t think they will cut him. But they may have prepared for his level of play to fade in the unfortunate situation that it could.

I appreciate the interesting perspective almost as much as I appreciate your name. Killer Tofu!

Thanks Preston. I wouldn’t want to lose Sanders by any means and he likely wouldn’t be cut, but could he be a trade target before the deadline? I don’t know, I just hope Sutton and Hamilton turn out to be as good as, the combo of Thomas and Sanders has been.

I tried to stay away Zac. Just to show you what’s up. But as you can see, that did not work out- I’m the third post.

One thing reflecting on today’s pod. Are we underestimating the fact that Denver may be concerned about Ray’s ability to stay healthy? It wouldn’t be the whole piece of the puzzle, but it could be part of it. This very year Blake Bottles had his 5th year become guaranteed because of injury. They ended up signing him to a deal shortly after. But they could have made a run at Cousins if they didn’t have Bortles 5th year to deal with. I think the Broncos looked at what they have in Shaq and Shane and asked themselves who they trust more. And it’s Shaq. So they decided to give Shaq an indicator that they want him around and will now proceed to try and sign him. And, if we pick up Shane’s fifth year and decide he’s not worth the money or he becomes a cap casualty just because we can’t put that money out for Shane and want to keep Shaq, we cut him and can’t get a compensatory pick for him. Some team could still go out and pay huge money for him- as we’ve said a lot. It’s a priority position. We could be looking at a 3rd or 4th rounder in the draft following year. And we still have the 3 guys we wanted locked up. So I agree. Definitely a Bill Belichick mentality. And that’s not too bad.

Long-time listener, first-time subscriber. Thanks to your daily podcasts I no longer have to settle for the bare-minimum coverage of our Great Mile High provided by the filthy “Gang Green” and oafy “Big Blue” pundits of NYC’s sports media. Much appreciated…

Off-topic from Ray and recent draft talk, still just trying to wrap my head around exactly how our QB situation is going to work…Musgrave must be crafting a more digestible offense for both Keenum AND Lynch given the possibility of injury—so what does that “shared” vision look like and does it have enough flexibility to fit their respective strengths/weaknesses? (Basically, do with think Lynch is slated to fail before even being asked to step up when/if the time comes?)

Thanks again and keep it up!

The question now is whether it is actually going to be Paxton…..Maybe Chad will beat him out like Trevor did…..

Coletrain from Vegas here. Something I thought kinda flew under the radar was Emmanuel saying the offense is gonna be more uptempo/no huddle this year. I think this is fantastic I’ve been wanting them to do this since Peyton left. But do you think this coaching staff is creative enough to take full advantage of this much like the Eagles did last year, and who do you think this benefits more in terms of winning the back up job, Chad Kelly or Paxton?

Hey dudes nick from arvada co again…. I was just thinking about one of the best moments for me as a new football fan last year. I went on a sandwich run and on the way back I turned the Vikings vs. saints playoffs game on as I drove up to my house. I heard the keenum to diggs play on the radio and couldn’t believe it then. Do you think keenum has the onions to step up like that again or was that a fluke? Is case the truth??

Jake from Nashville, just subscribed to help beat the Avs twice. Go Preds. But most importantly, Go Broncos.

(I like the Avs, but second in this sport for me).

Hey fellas, Mark from Hawaii here.

Remember when we were all anticipating the drama that would eventually come if the Broncos would have drafted a rookie QB with the #5 pick? Oh wait, that was just last week!

Man how fast things change. Now that the draft has come and gone and the pick was Chubb, I’m so glad that there won’t be any drama at QB at all going into camp. Im excited that most of the drama over the coming weeks and months will be the battles at WR and RB. I think this is such a refreshing change, and with all the skills talent we have, Elway has made sure our offense is in a position to succeed this year, while remaining fiscally responsible to the team’s future.

Thanks to RK and Zac for always delivering spot on analysis to keep us fans grounded and well informed on the literally daily developments!

Hi all, Alex from Broomfield here, and I’ve been a subscriber since the [insert cool name]-coin giveaway promo code. I am not one that comments or asks questions often, but after the ridiculous amount of coverage you all provided during the draft I couldn’t continue to soak in your content without saying how appreciative I am of your hard work and what BSN has been doing the past several years. I like to listen to all things Broncos and Rockies, from other pods to radio shows, and I have to say that your Broncos Pod is without a doubt heads and shoulders above the rest. The chemistry between Zac and Ryan is listening gold, and the puns are an added bonus. That and you introduced me to DogHaus, so enough said.

Now for a quick-ish question: After looking over the roster pre and post draft, there is undeniably a lot of proven talent, and a lot of potential talent. With the ‘QB competition’ at the backup spot, do you think the Broncos would have enough faith in either Paxton or Chad $ Kelly to only carry 2 QBs on the roster (that in turn saves an additional spot for an undrafted free agent like Holland or Lindsay), or would they carry 3 QBs just in case Keenum goes down to injury?

Thanks again, and looking forward to the BSN Broncos dual fantasy football leagues!

Earlier this offseason you guys mentioned that Miller would be in the coaching room with the defensive line and that Shaq and Shane would be in the linebackers room (at least if memory serves). With the addition of Chubb in the draft, which room is he projected to be in? Which room do you think would be most beneficial for his development? Also it appears old habits die hard. Ryan, you’ve got your days mixed up again as we are commenting on the Wednesday edition not the Tuesday edition.

Can we all find a way to help Zac watch all the important childhood cartoons? Look, Zac, you probably feel so old now because you missed your childhood. How could you have survived without Doug, Rocky’s Modern Life, Two Angry Beavers, and the sweet “woogie woogie woogies” of Rocket Power and their incredible shredding skills? DANG!

Also, you guys can just send me my signed copy of Draft Day now. I’ve been in a life-long slump of fantasy sports, so I’m pretty sure I’m due a win this year.

Shoutout to my guys, though, for the best Broncos coverage! Any way I can upgrade my membership to two lifetimes?

Arguably two of the greatest dog names of all time are from those shows. Who doesn’t want a dog named either Porkchop (Doug) or Spunky (Rocco’s Modern Life)? Nickelodeon had the best shows back in the day! I bet Zac hasn’t seen the other greats like Darkwing Duck, Street Sharks, or the greatest game show of all time, Legends of the Hidden Temple either.

After the Moser call from game 5 of the Avs with the guts comment I was hoping for some Global Guts puns for game 6. Avalanches can happen at the top of a crag. A missed opportunity. Congrats Ryan on you guys taking the lead against the Avs. It hurts me to say that as I want to equally support all of BSN, but you guys answer my questions. AJ/AD/Jesse don’t answer comment questions on their pod, and that may be their downfall.
