I am behind on BSN podcasts, so I thought I would just listening to the game recap podcast this morning. Glad I did because this was the first time I heard about bumpybuffalo’s gofundme. Glad I got to be the one to close it out! What a community we have that we can come together as a group and help someone achieve a Broncos goal.

Hey guys, I was watching a CFL game over the weekend (It’s a lot more entertaining than pre-season football), and one of the QBs was sacked 24 times in five games, so at least our o-line isn’t that bad! The long snapper also got injured, so my question is who would be the Broncos emergency long snapper if Casey got injured during a game?

There’s one point people seem to forget about backups. We will never see them all on the field at once, so what may seem like an overall lack of depth, could very well just be an over simplification of the general depth of the team. I have faith! That 1st team D looked sick nasty! PS: The weird way Zac said “poo poo” made me laugh so hard I had to leave my office and go hide in the bathroom.

Hello men, got a little behind on podcasts but got all caught up and just gotta say, damn good coverage.
Zac, got a hypothetical to your comment last Thursday. If Rich goes off to be a HC next year, we should bring in PFM as OC, have Drew run no huddle so that Peyton can diagnose the D (as he was one of the best at it), then relay the proper calls to Drew before the 15 second mic cut off.
Also, y’all need to get the homie Brandon Perna a press pass so that he can ask Vic questions while shirtless… I just kid guys but loving the coverage and I’m excited for our D to cause havoc and can’t wait to see what Vic has in store for Kermit the frog out in kc.

I wanted to hear your thoughts on a graph that ESPN showed on MNF. They had a graphic of the AFC West and the chance of each team winning the division. From what I remember it was:

Chiefs 66%
Chargers 24%
Broncos 6%
Raiders 4%

Why does it feel like ESPN is giving us less of a chance to make the playoff than last year. From the MNF game it feels like the defense alone could take us to the playoff with minimum help from the offense.

Random thought I have had for a while…Every time you call Garret Bolles “Gum Ball”….I can’t help but think “Gummy Bear” is a more fitting nickname. Not sure if it’s that disconjugate stare of his, childlike personality or just the simple fact that, like Garrett Bolles, gummy bears would be a wasted pick with your first choice in a Candy Bolle Draft….not trying to be negative…I just had to get that off my chest.

What’s up, dudes! I finally did what you guys suggested and am commenting sorry it’s long but it will probably be my first and the last comment judging by how long it took me to comment over my years of being a subscriber! This is Alex aka the reigning champ with Zac at beer pong from the Bar crawl! Looks like you guys were up Monday night as late as we were during the crawl and at points, you sounded like you had as many cold snacks! Above all, you guys are awesome as the coverage you provide, and so is this community. I have a couple of questions/comments.

1. My wife and I are moving from Denver to Cairns, Australia for a 6-month working holiday on September 3rd. I was very impressed with Shelby Harris, he’s gotta be a prime candidate for a huge breakout. Garrett Bolles on the other hand looked, well, not so good. Which number is higher at the end of the year, Shelby sacks or Bolles sacks allowed? I’m going 6 sacks for Shelby and between 5-7 allowed for Bolles. #DamnGoodBeer

What’s up guys. Good to see my Utah folks organizing a meet up. Makes me wish I still lived in Utah so I could join in. Although, I won’t ever miss the low point beer. My guys! After listening to late night with the best Broncos reporters in the game, I realized you finished the podcast mere 15 minutes before I woke up for work! This must be the first time being a VA broncos fan has paid off. I got to start my day with the boys!

First of all, the late night pod was just what I needed as I was driving 2 hours early this morning and coincidentally y’all did a late night pod! It worked out great and it was great content over my black coffee.

Just a few takes.

The defense is ridiculously good and I believe they are only scratching the surface. That squad will open a bunch of eyes this year.

Give the offense time Broncos Country! It takes time for these things to come together especially with a new QB and OC and OL coach etc. It is only the 3rd pre season game so the run game will start to mesh but not until a few games into the regular season in my opinion. Patieince.

Last thing

Bolles is what we have, and all giving him bleep, here is what I have for you. He will get better. I’m going so far as to say he will be a pro bowler by seasons end. Write that down.

Just saying RK, your pride was worth a helluva lot more than $63 when I dropped the gauntlet on ya.

This was the best podcast ever. Not just for you guys — I mean across all formats and subjects, ever. Have you ever gone out with some good friends, and you’re the designated driver, and you get to watch your buddies get progressively less coherent and more funny? As I drove to work Tuesday morning, after a restful night’s sleep and a hot coffee in my hand, that’s how I felt while listening to the podcast. I can’t remember what I laughed harder at; a singing competition using “One Is The Loneliest Number,” when Zac had never even heard the song before; shoutouts to Colgate, both the University and the Toothpaste; shoutouts to Heinz, both Ward and Ketchup; Cockroach tentacles; or lanyards assigned by body type.

Either way, it was all hilarious, and the content and analysis were still spot on, despite the fatigue! Thanks!

Your late night pods are hard on you gents no doubt but boy are they easy on the ears. I was up late Tuning my harpsichord Anyways so it was the perfect way to spend the wee hours.

Leads me to wonder, What are your all time favorite midnight snacks? It better not involve food made with odd appliances RK.

My question is, do you guys think it’s time to move on from Garrett Bolles?. Every time a flag is thrown, you expect the next words to be “Holding Number 72”. He isn’t showing enough signs of improvement and doesnt seem to be learning from his mistakes. Do we move on from him next year or give Wilkinson a run at Tackle with the firsts?

Hey guys, about the Drew lock injury situation, could they put him on IR so that they don’t have to keep 3 QBs, and then after week 8 they cut hogan and reinstate drew as the backup QB? Since the timetable on his injury will carry on to the regular season, had that thought, don’t really know if that doable. Also, what did you think of the ILB play in Monday’s game?
