Can Denver essentially cover up a bad 2017 draft with a really strong 2018 free agency and draft this year and does it hurt them to cut underperforming players so soon? For example, if they have a stellar FA with getting Cousins, a guard (Josh Kline), Paul Richardson and they draft Minkah… Will that make them think to cut Langley? Rios outplayed him during the season. Sorry for the lengthy comment!

Aloha Ryan and Zac!
First time / long time from the 50th State in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Ok getting right into it. Let’s say that we get our quarterback, whether it be Cousins, or another veteran, or even one of these highly rated QB prospects (would love to get Mayfield) or a RB like Barkley.
My question is this. What does Elway and the “new” Broncos coaching staff need to do this time to ensure we get the most out of these new additions right out of the gate.
The worst thing to me is that we go all in on a free agent and or a high draft pick, and despite the perceived talent, the offense still for whatever reason continues plodding bye on the field. I know it starts with having great QB play along with the horses to run the plays. We also need coaches who can adapt to the game. But we haven’t exactly been devoid of talented player and coaches these past few years.
Last year’s draft was supposed to be about adding juice to our team and it just didn’t happen. I’m normally an optimistic fan. So I would love to hear what you think Elway and the coaches might do with their strategy in addition to what’s already been implemented to guarantee avoiding another clunker offense.
Mahalo and Go Broncos!

Hey Zach and Ryan….Andy from the UK here. Just signed up with the broncospod code, nice one!
My question relates to who we cut / trade and how we replace them. If as expected by many we get rid of Talib, Sanders and CJ Anderson in order to afford Cousins do we then look to draft a new running back, cornerback and receiver with our first few picks? Or do we give the likes of DeAngelo Henderson, Carlos Henderson and Isiah McKenzie a go next season.
Thanks for all the podcasts, love listening to them on this side of the Atlantic. Cheers guys.

Hey guys, Evan here from Houston. I’ve been listening to the podcast since beginning of the Senior Bowl coverage and have been impressed with your reporting. The broncospod promo code finally convinced me to subscribe.
My question concerns the Broncos coaching staff. I believe our OC and DC coordinators have the ability to put together a competitive schemes that play to player strengths. However, I believe developing talent is the responsibility of the position coaches. What are your thoughts on the new assistant coaches being able to develop talent? Keep up the great work! Thanks!

As you were saying leadership is an important role at qb. So with that do you think mayfield is the best prosepct at qb in the draft. I feel he would bring a tremendous amount of leadership at the qb position along with his talent of play? Do you think any of the other quarterbacks in the draft could bring the same level of leadership and intensity as baker mayfield?
